The Peterson guys were very nice, professional, prompt, and did everything I asked in a very short time. I thought price was very reasonable as well.

They were prompt. Setting up an appointment was easy and they installed my new toilet after the "Great Freeze" screwing up my pipes. They are a little expensive compared to other places, but the quality of work matched what I paid. Bottom line: They are the most reasonable in the area that provide quality work.

When my old water heater started leaking, I knew it would have to be replaced, so I chose the company with the largest number of A ratings on Angie's List--Petersen Plumbing and Heating. With only two exceptions, my experience was very positive. The person who took my call was pleasant and helpful, and the technician who installed the water heater was great. He was prompt, efficient, tidy, and friendly. He hauled away the old water heater and left the work area clean. The new water heater works fine. I would like to be able to give a grade of A- instead of an A for two reasons. First, given the fact that the old water heater was leaking and I had a stream of water running to the floor drain (which I said in my initial phone call) and the service was not to be performed until two days after I called, I wish the person I spoke to had either told me how to shut it down or had offered to send someone to do that. Second, the person I spoke to simply recommended their most popular replacement, rather than talking with me about options. I didn't think about it until after the fact (so I take some responsibility), but I would have preferred to install an Energy Star water heater if one was available. I also think the person on the phone should have asked more questions about number of people in the home and water usage before drawing her own conclusion about the size I needed. I would definitely call Petersen again, but I would take more initiative with my order next time.

Our kitchen sink was clogged. I called Petersen Plumbing, and Donna answered. It was about 4:00pm,on a Friday, and she said she'd try to get someone and call me right back. Ron was the one who called to say he was on his way! It only took him twenty minutes to clean out the drain! Ron couldn't have been nicer. Very professional. Really happy I called Petersen Plumbing!

I had used Petersen plumbing once before fro my Mother. She had a leaking toilet tank in a very tight location. Mr. Petersen came the same day I called and did the repair in a short amount of time.

Did a great job. Matt was professional and yet personable. Bathroom Countertop was 7 x 5 ft, unwieldy and difficult to take out and not damage bathroom mirrors resting on the countertop. Thx, Matt

He got the leak stopped and gave us something so if it happens again we will know what to do. I think he did a great job!!

They have been great to work with. We have been using their services for over seven years. They always come when they are supposed to and have reasonable prices.

My toilet was clogged and they unclogged it for the quote they gave me over the phone in less than an hour.

We had another plumbing company come out and clean out our sewer pipes after hours, but within two days the pipes were backed up worse than they were before the first time. The same company was going to charge us the same amount again because he didn't guarantee his work. We called Petersen and they came out within a couple of hours and cleaned out the pipes with a bigger auger and went further out than the first company. They also guaranteed their work and charged half as much.

I sent an email Sunday evening on 9/22/2013 to Petersens Plumbing. I told them about my problem and asked for someone to call me Monday morning to setup an appointment. Within 10 minutes, I received a call from Paul ( I think that was his name). He said he was in Connecticut. He received my email. I again told him about my problem. He said he would send someone out tonight. I told him I could wait until the morning. He said he would call the office and have them to put me on the schedule for Monday morning. About 7:15 am I received a call from Jackie at Petersen's. She told me she would have someone there at 8:30 this morning (9/23/2013.) The plumber was there at 8:20 am. He got the parts he needed and fixed the water line within 30 minutes. He did a great job. He would have billed me, but since I was there I paid him. Everything went very smoothly.

It went just fine. They were on time, professional and explained why they picked the spot they did (using existing plumbing and would be cheaper). Very happy with their service and used them again for another faucet repair a couple of months later and received the same great service!

I had to wait almost 2 weeks before they could fit us in but I did tell them the jobs could wait; I assume they could have come sooner if it had been a more pressing issue. They were friendly on the phone, and the plumber who came out was prompt and professional. He was there just under one hour. He fixed both problems and seemed to care about the job he did. I will use them again.

Very professional and clean. Absolutely no regrets with these guys. Also, the bill came in about $600 less than the estimate and that never happens.

The location we wanted for a new bathroom was going to use a macerating toilet. Petersen had the best bid by over a $1,000. The pipes had to be run from the downstairs basement area, to the upstairs and the toilet installed. Though it was tricky going through areas of the house and walls with pipes, they managed to do it flawlessly and the toilet fulfills are needs. They were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable! They had no experience with the brand of toilet we purchased, but they completed the research, and the bathroom is now a wonderful addition to our home.

The plumber did an excellent job installing the fixtures in a short amount of time and was less expensive than other plumbers I have hired in the past. I would recommend this company and will call them again for other jobs requiring a plumber.

After arrival, he was very professional. Possible needed equipment and materials were on the vehicle, so there was no need for traveling to a store or the "shop" for materials or equipment.

Estimate person missed our meeting time. Contacted office when he was half hour late and he came right out to give estimate. Was very apologetic for missing appointment. Gave estimate for the work needed and since the water heater was leaking said he would schedule as soon as possible. Had installed within 3 days of estimate date. Everything wen well installer was well experienced and professional. All work done to my satisfaction and would recommend to anyone needing plumbing work.

In my town a licensed plumber must do residential plumbing due to codes around waste vent dangers. I called for quote and it took for-ever for someone to get out to my house. An older gentleman showed up and wandered around and said it would take 2 guys a couple of days, ridiculous, but i asked him for a written quote and he said he would go back and get to it and mail me something, never heard from the company again.... Got a competitor quote and 1 guy did it in less than a day for less than half of the cost.

Ron and his trainee arrived on schedule. They were very professional and explained everything completely. I asked they snake to the street but since there is construction of water/sewer main in front of the house Ron didn't recommend doing so. They cleaned the tub/shower drain, bathroom sink drain, and trap in the basement. I thought the cost was a bit high but 45.00 was the monthly drain cleaner I purchased from them. They do have a 6 month guarantee that I do appreciate, finding a guarantee these days is not so common. All and all it was a good experience and I would recommend them.

Recurring problem, tree roots block main drain. Technician checked drains and ran snack from cutout and also removed toilet to clean between house drain and cutout. Found small tree roots and suggested product to help prevent recurrence. Arrived on time and was very professional. The charge was the minimum quoted on phone. Will use in future for all provided services.

Talked to a nice woman who initially said they could do the job. When i mentioned it was a new install and we had no electrical she wanted to double check with their appliance guy. she called back right away and told me he needed electricity underneath. So we called an electrician instead. A disappointment as they say they do remodels but not electricity? Overall very nice people, just wish they could have done the whole job. might give them a call back when the box gets put in.

We recently were involved in a flood that filled the basement. We lost our hot water heater and decided to go with a tank less heater. Taking advice from a friend at work who said that he could install one for me, I researched and purchased a tank less heater online. It came 5 days later as promised but was damaged and not usable. I sent it back and was sent another one which was also damaged. So I called around to get an estimate for a purchase and install of the tank less heater. The folks at Petersen Plumbing responded the fastest. Came quickly and gave me an estimate. In the mean time the seller online sent me another tank less heater despite my wishes. Petersen Plumbing worked with me as I had purchased a heater that they sell and install. They were very understanding of the fact that I had been without hot water for one month. They sent someone over in a timely manor. The install could not have been better. The installer was very informative and did a wonderful job.
