Scott Knight was very professional and friendly. He answered all of my questions. He was very thorough when cleaning the a.c. unit with a garden hose, I really appreciated that (wow, it was dirty!) The a.c. unit was not performing properly. Scott told me about my options: 1) Add freon 2) Insert dye to check for leaks or 3) Insert sealant into the unit. I decided to add freon and wait to see what happens. Scott was informative and knew his business. He was very pleasant. I want to hire him again in the future. Send me Scott!

This was on a Friday in May....I was on paternity leave at the time and my wife was starting work the following week. Dalton had someone come out and assess the job on Friday afternoon. He said because of their workload they're a couple weeks backed up. I explained that my wife was going to have two toddlers and 2 newborns as she does daycare in our basement, which is right next to the utility room where the work would be done. He went back to the office, moved some appointments around and called me back within an hour or two and said if Monday would work they'd be out to do the job then. I was very satisfied with the experience and I recommended them to the neighbors who also used Dalton

We needed a new furnace, as our old one had a cracked heat exchanger. Upon entering the Dalton rep immediately started trying to upsell me on revamping the ductwork in the entire house. He was also very condescending towards me, and, upon learning that I had other bids for the work, began belittling and bashing the competition. Hardly professional. I will not call Dalton Plumbing & Heating again.

They did a good job. I was leaving for Florida and the furnace blew out so I had to authorize some work and they were able to do it. The price included them taking out the old furnace, the cost of the new furnace and the installation of the new one.

Didn't show up for the first appointment, had to reschedule a day later. Had to call back same day to fix a leak in bathroom.

Dalton was one of the best-communicating companies we had quotes from... I got immediate calls back and they were very flexible in setting up an appointment. However, their quote was considerably higher than some of the competitors so we did not end up choosing them for the install. But professionally, I would bet they're a great company to work with!

Logan was the tech and he was very professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I need to replace the furnace, but it is 20 years old so that is not all that surprising. I appreciated his demeanor when I was initially not happy with that news. He went the extra mile to try and get it to work until it could replaced. Odd time of year to still need the furnace, but that's the spring we are having. When he couldn't get it to work he went back to the shop and brought out space heaters to use for the time being. Definitely will continue to use them. In fact they are coming out today to give me an estimate on new furnace and a/c unit.

He's good and he gave us a quote. They were fast and they did their best. They're good on what they do.

I called Daltons out in December to check my furnace because it was making a noise. They told me nothing was wrong. Not once did they mention I needed a new furnace. I paid them $65.00 for coming out to do the diagnostic tests. Within five weeks, my furnace had broken down. I called them out again. This time they replaced the motor blower and charged me $444.00. The invoice read, "Customer stated blower noisy and would't run unless spun by hand. Replaced blower motor and run cap. Restarted furnace. Checked operation of inducer, ignitor, pilot, burners, vent, drains, and controls. Checked blower rotation, vac and Amps." The NEXT day the furnace broke down again. This time I was told it was the inducer and charged 400.00 and told I needed a NEW furnace. Here is what that invoice said, " The inducer was wobbling like crazy, Scott was out here yesterday and replaced blower motor and noticed that t he inducer was bad but didn't do anything about it. Overnight it got worse and I took it apart and the wheel was bad. Then I went to the shop and couldn't get the wheel off so grabbed a new wheel and plastic motor housing and a new motor. Installed the motor and everything was working as designed and he had heat. He paid me 400. bucks of the inducer no diag fee." They told us the money I had already spent could be put toward the new furnace I needed. After getting estimates for a new furnace, they told me they would not give me the money. They would throw in a humidifier and a furnace filter and give me $200.00 credit. The president of the company met with me with no intention of compromising. He handled it poorly for a man in his position. I would NEVER recommend this company. I have done business with them for years, but the new president is taking the company down with his poor customer service and excuses. I am now looking for a new company to install a furnace and have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

On time for estimate (Chris), on time for install (Steve/Pete). I can't say enough about this group - except that I will probably start using them for all my plumbing, etc. I love my fireplace! The "B" was because the estimate/price was somewhat higher than expected, but worth it.

Dalton responded quickly to my request for help with this problem. Very professional plumber did the work including a camera scan of the pipe. Problem cleared satisfactorily. He suggested that replacement of the old iron pipe with PVC would be the best long term way to deal with this problem, which I will probably have done within a year so this doesn't happen again.

Exceptional responsiveness and professionalism. Contractor provided excellent tips and suggestions and was very friendly. Would certainly use this contractor again.

There was noise coming from the blower of A/C units. Seems like the bolts were loose and stuck inside the fan. He fixed it. Overall satisfied.
