I am locked in a battle with them over grub control and fertilizer being applied to my lawn when the heat was over 90 degrees. It really damaged my front yard. They told me to water it like crazy. It added about $50.00 to my water bill. They said they would take care of it. I just have to get the stuff to them. That was stupid. One of the appliers came out and said that they just give them the stuff and they put it on. That didn't seem to be such wonderful professionalism or training. You could just see where the hose went. It was all brown the next day itself. It was the July application that murdered my yard. The price I pay is per application. I have used them since I moved back. I am retired and I do want a garden and I do have a 3 story house with 4 bedrooms even though I am the only one here at this time and for the future. I can't do all the stuff that the previous owners did because it's just me. TruGreen did the weed control, fertilizer, aeration, and overseeding for free this year to make up for the damage. I am sad to report that this was not successful in the damage repair. Mostly in the front there are huge bare patches. My neighbors on both sides and across the street barely have grass in their yard and they have all got green stuff. Last year mine was just like velvet. It was beautiful and there wasn't one dandelion. Now I am going to have to extend the border garden because it's very shady over there. The grass is just not happening. I have seeded it. I have scratched it up and seeded it again and covered it with starter dirt. TruGreen came out and did the aeration and overseeding and it's just not happening. There are still patches in the back. I have now joined the master gardener club and I start the classes in January so I hope to figure out a way to turn my lawn into a giant flower thing. It was just the one incident that did huge damage. I would like to say I am never going to use them. I don't think I can do without them, but I am not going to have the grub control done again.

TruGreen applied all four fertilizer treatments beginning May 2nd and ended September 1st. I also had an application for grub preventative done July 11th. TruGreen offered an application for weed control which they applied July 28th. The weed control was for broad leaf weeds. After their applications the crabgrass and nutsedge florished. After calling them they came out again on August 10th and sprayed for broad leaf weeds again. Crabgrass and nutsedge are not broadleaf weeds. When I called them about this I had informed them that they sprayed for broadleaf again and not the crabgrass and nutsedge. On September 1 they came for the last application of fertilizer and sprayed the crabgrass and nutsedge with a broadleaf treatment again... I spent one full day on a Saturday digging out the major area of crabgrass and nutsedge. I have canceled the and quot;automatic renewaland quot; of my contract. I will not use this company again.

They took great care of it, getting rid of all weeds. I would certainly recommend them.

We paid for a package deal at the beginning of Spring 2008 for the entire season. We were supposed to get 6 treatments about 6 weeks apart. They usually went about 9 weeks apart until the end of the season where they tried to catch up and treated our lawn every 2-3 weeks. I was not impressed with how it worked on the weeds. I did not have them come back for 2009 and was able to do almost as good myself with just a few applications of Scott's products. They have not stopped calling us and won't take no for an answer. Don't use them unless you intend to use their service for the rest of your life and are willing to stay on top of them for meeting their scheduled treatments.

Good. They show up and do the job when they say they will. They do a good service. The sales people can be alittle too car sales like for me at times, but they are good overall.

Trugreen continued to come back and fertilize our yard for two more seasons without our consent. It took dozens of phone calls and finally the Better Business Bureau to step in to get them to quick coming to fertilize and billing us. They did a nice job on the yard - the problem is they will not stop service and their customer service is horrible!

They do a good quality job. They are pretty good at showing up around the same time every month. My lawn looks really nice and I like that they take care of the weeds for me.
