an hour agoNew-Edit Delete On 9/9, I return home from work to find a sign in my yard about chemicals being applied to trees on my property. Which I never contacted this company to do or consented too. I get inside to find out the wife didn't notice this sign and sent our 3 dogs out in to a yard where chemicals had been applied without any knowledge of this happening either. So I review my cameras and see their person ran our doorbell walked away instantly and then just started spraying the trees on the property and then entered our fenced in area of the yard and applied the same chemicals to a spot where we had sent out dogs out too. I give them a call and ask why entered my property and applied chemicals to my property without my consent or knowledge and all they could say is we don't know why this happened. I then asked the first guy what type of chemicals were applied to my property and all I got was let me transfer you to customer service and they will tell you what chemicals we use and make sure this never happens again. Once I get on the phone with customer service they AGAIN COULDN'T/WOULDN'T tell me what chemicals you guys use only saying they SHOULDN'T be toxic, I explain to the lady that this is unacceptable that they came on to my property without any form of consent and applied chemicals where I send my 3 dogs out to and now can't tell me what they use, with only saying it SHOULDN'T be toxic to them. I then ask who I should contact if the shouldn't be toxic is actually toxic with any vet bills that could potentially arise. With not direct answer other than I'll have the project manager call you in 15-20 minutes on what chemicals we use and what procedures we have in place. Guess who never called me. So now we are on the next day still with no clue on what was applied to my property other than the assurance of it SHOULDN'T be toxic. Absolute joke of company that can't even provide the answer to a simple question after coming on to a property without any agreement in place.

I think we're going to get rid of them. I feel like we're getting grass to grow and there are some weeds that they've haven't been able to get rid of. We've been using them for two years. I haven't gotten a bill, but typically they're like $45.

Missed 3 scheduled appointments and was informed there would be no charge for my next service. They lied. I got double charged for 2 treatments. When I called to inquire, the customer service representative cancelled my ongoing service with them and hung up the phone on me. Avoid TruGreen and find a better lawn care specialist.

I think that service was postponed because the day they was supposed to come out it rained and that's one of the issues I had. They never called me to reschedule, so I had to call them.

I use them all summer long, but I don't see them. I don't always hear back from them unless I have an issue immediately. I am going to guess that it takes maybe 30 minutes to complete the service. There is just one person that comes out.

Their treatment aren’t always been effective. I have used them for a coupled of years and I don’t think the yard looks as good as it could.

Fertilizing and weed control seem to go well and they have succeeded in getting a healthy lawn to grow on our poor Madison County clay soil. It seems to be aeration where we have difficulty. Last year the TruGreen rep aerated during a dry spell when our clay soil was baked hard. I could see where his aerator walked across the soil without even taking cores. Unless he was sight impaired, he had to have seen it too, yet he rolled the machine over my yard, called it good and I was charged. It felt the money was more important than good service. This year the rep was rude, and obnoxious. He debated me on the location of our house, since his navigation software said our house was eight miles away in the next town, and continued as I gave him the most basic directions to an very easy to find location. When I arrived home and he was still working on the lawn, our dog ran over to him barking, sniffed him and went off to play in the yard. He informed me he would rather not have the dog out while he did the work and I said I understand. I intended to take the dog in the house with me as soon as he finished telling me I had grubs and showing them to me. He continued showing me grubs in several locations as the dog continued to play disinterestedly 70 feet away. As he continued taking me to multiple locations, he continued to lecture me about having the dog in the house while he did the aeration and I said I would make certain he was in. When he finally stopped taking me to a variety of locations, he began his dog talk again, making obnoxious comments that made me wonder if he had any comprehension of the importance of repeat business. I finally told him to do the work we agreed to, load up and send me his bill. I feel no great need to give my business to someone who is unreasonable and difficult to deal with, and I don't have any problem with his dog preference. I understand perfectly. There is, however a way to express your concern and policy without making someone wish you would just go away. I'm finished with TruGreen and will contract with someone happy to have my business.

I'm replacing them next year. They just never responded to me. They're punctual but they just never got the job done. I kept complaining about the weeds in my yard. I kept spraying it. Every time they came out and sprayed it, they charged me more money. I ended up being the one throwing the weeds. I spend money but I'm not getting the service.

We have called 3 times and told they would be here either on July 31st or Aug 1st. They would call before they came. No call but I get an email that they came and provided a service......Really?? How can you provide a service when the yard is gated and locked?? You call the number they give and it is nothing but a call center and they could care less about helping you......Not happy at this point. Would not refer them to anyone at this point. Follow up is horrible.

One guy came out. It took about thirty minutes. They are very friendly. They call and let me know what day they will be coming out.

We were satisfied. They did our landscaping, yard work and tree service. They call ahead of time and told us when they will be here. They first check the application with us first. They are always nice and polite.

We enlisted the help of TruGreen in fertilizing our yard. Prior to calling them we had a few weeds but no other issues. As soon as they started to come we started having issues with huge spots of dead grass that literally pulled away from the ground. We were the only house in the neighborhood with this issue. We called for help and were told we didn't water enough. Although that may have been true, that wasn't the issue. We ended up calling another company after several months of requesting new service technicians, etc and the new company stated there were too many chemicals being added to make it green and one of the side effects is spots of dead grass. I called to tell them this and was met with nothing but defensiveness. Our spots went away with the new company. TruGreen continued to call us and ask for our business back and each time I would tell them about the issues that we had and I would be met with an and quot;Ohand quot; response, no offer to look into it, apologize for our troubles, nothing. I finally had to threaten to call the BBB to get them to stop calling me with marketing offers. Not a good experience.

We have been pleased with them. I have only spoken to a few of them but they seem to be very professional and knowledgeable about what they are doing. Most of the time, they come and do the work and you even never know that they were here. They just come and do the job. They put a fine in the yard to keep the animals off for twenty four hours.

They are a nation wide company. They were here a month ago, and they were supposed to be here last Friday, but they called and said they would reschedule. They were prompt, courteous, returned my call, and called me back the next day. I had 3 or 4 bids, and I chose them, and they were great. The price is for so many applications.

I have used them for probably 25 years now and I am happy with them. I think that they do a good job and if there is any kind of problem, I call them and they come back without an extra charge. They clean up their mess and make sure that everything looks good. Their pricing is also good.

The job is adequate but my lawn seems to continually have slightly more weeds, etc. I used them for several years since it was easier than doing it myself. They come 7 - 8 times a year, doing various things such as the fertilizer, broad leaf control, grub treatment, and core aeration. We now plan to install a sprinkler system and I doubt if I will go back to Scott. The only real complaint is the weed control was not as effective as I had hoped. They say they spot spray weeds encountered when providing various services, but we rarely noticed that happen, unless we pointed out the weeds.

Everything goes very well. I would recommend them to others. They are personable and make sure we know what they are going to do when they arrive.

They do a very good job. They will be here when they say they are going to be here. Their price is good. They are very professional.

They kept raising the rates every year. They seemed to be okay. They have already put on a couple of applications. So far, I don’t have any complaints. I don’t have any gremlins in my yard and I don’t have any weeds and stuff. The price is real competitive. I just don’t have any complaints.

We were not happy with them. We kept getting more weeds. We had to call them back a lot. Their price is comparable with everyone else. They harassed us with a lot of phone calls because they wanted to come back. We tried to cancel and yet they harassed us.

They had a reasonable price. I was having trouble getting other services to come out to my house, and they came.

In the fall and also in the spring when you have not called them to come out and do anything, sometimes the sales people will call and even when you tell them no they come out and do a service that you didn't request and then charge you for it. I cant say that they have dome anything and they still bill you for it. this has happened to us as well as my son within the last year. Their salesmen are very pushy. They will try to line up work for the spring time and if you tell them no and to call you in the spring, they will just shop up and do the work without asking your permission.
