I have an annual contract with them. They check the switches, change the filters, do a few routine tests and let me know if there is anything over and above general maintenance that needs to be done. They check to see if everything is running properly.

After having issues with my 3 year old central air and two unsuccessful attempts with other companies to get it working well since spring, I found myself in trying to paint indoors on a holiday weekend in blistering heat and high humidity when the air finally decided to completely give up the ghost. I called 72 Degrees based on their reputation on this list and was thrilled when they indicated they would come over within two hours. They found the problem, explained everything to me as well as the cost and alternatives. They had the unit up and runing within an hour and I have had no further issues with my air this summer. I intend on using 72 Degrees for all of my heating and coolong needs in the future.

I have used 72 DEGREES HOME COMFORT COMPANY once before and they did great. They deserve an overall A. All their work is excellent, especially their punctuality.

I called 72 Degrees to schedule a fall furnace inspection and tune-up and ended up signing up for their annual service contract. They were able to schedule an appointment quickly and around my schedule. On the day of the appointment, the technician called 10-15 minutes before he arrived. He was able to answer all my questions regarding operation and maintenance of the furnace. While firing up the furnace, the dust that burnt off managed to set off the smoke alarms in the house. The technician apologized and tried to fan the smoke away to make it stop. The inspection, cleaning, and tune-up took about an hour and he scheduled my spring A/C tune-up before he left. Very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough.

Our AC wouldn't kick in until around noon every day because the family room (where the thermostat was) is very sheltered and remained a constant temp until the sun hit the back of the house in the afternoon, while the front of the house and upstairs turned into an oven by 9 AM. I called and asked if someone could come give us some recommendations on how to even out the temp of the whole house. The owner came over and evaluated our systems, ducts, etc. and recommended moving the thermostat to the south side of the house where the temperature fluctuated more with the rest of the house so the AC would kick in once the house started heating up. He said once that was done, we'd be able to close off vents to better control the air flow and thus keep the house temp more consistent from one room to the next. He had some other suggestions that were much more costly but suggested we take a step by step approach and see if the cheapest solution would help before moving on to the more costly items. I scheduled the appointment and the serviceman arrived right on time, calling before he left the office to know he was on his way. He moved the thermostat from the family room to the dining room and since then we've been able to keep the whole house much more comfortable.

They were pretty good and they were responsive to my questions.

These guys were able to quote me a price and finish the work within my required span of about 10 days. The actual HVAC work performed only took a day. End charge matched their quote, despite a bit of extra work involved. Overall, very happy with the ease of working with them and quality of their work.
