They do a great job and are very reasonable. They are very good in what they do and I would highly recommend them.

Their technician (Alberto) was prompt and courteous. He immediately examined and diagnosed the problem with my 22-year old furnace (which had stopped working in late winter) within a matter of a few minutes. Alberto spent about 20 minutes making the necessary repairs and adjustments, and my furnace was up and running again! He was very knowledgeable and professional, explaining that my blower motor may eventually wear out, but never tried to "push" a new furnace or costly repairs based on its age. In the end, Alberto made all the necessary repairs to keep my furnace running for months to come and only charged me for the cost of a service call. In today's day and age, it is hard to find quality, honest technicians and service providers. Alberto and the company he represents (72 Degrees Comfort) certainly fit the bill! I definitely will use them again and I highly recommend family, friends and neighbors to use their services as well. Well done, 72 Degrees; you definitely have one satisfied customer here!

By mid morning a water heater man was here. A tough job with probably 30 year old water heater coming out. They handled it professionally and took care of it. They are very trustworthy, have very well qualified personnel and they are very honest.

Very responsive. Good competitive price. They were very professional and worked hard to successfully complete the job before moving on to other clients.

I have always used them. It took a couple of hours to fix the fan motor. The guy I dealt with was great and it was on a Sunday and he fixed it.

Excellent on time and within budget

I’ve already recommended them to friends. I would recommend them because of their punctuality, professionalism and quality of service.

I pay for a full year service as one block and then I get a winter and a summer. I think their price is competitive. I will use them again in the future. The last service I had, the young man was adequate, I had no complaints about him, but I have had problems with the other service people that have come out in the past. I fell that they didn't do the best possible job or they weren't as trained as they should have been. I know that they are trying hard, and I know that they got rid of one guy that I was not happy with. I know they are trying to get good people and it is kind of hard to do. There is one service tech that I have in my record that I want him to do my work and they did not send him this time.

The Customer Service lady at the office (and this was personal service not a call center) though flooded with people after a long hot holiday weekend got me in. She was cheerful and cared about getting our house cool. Nice! It was an after hours call for not very much more. Very reasonable A little after 5 the tech called and said he was on his way. He immediately found the problem. A fried part and some fried connectors. He fixed it. He checked my unit over. And he had an apprentice with him. Impressive that this company participates in teaching the trade. The technician was very nice, knew his trade well and was just excellent. Parts went on warranty. Labor and call I paid. These people are tops.

This was the best experience I have had with a contractor in the 16 years I have lived here. The sales person was experienced and knowledgeable and stayed in constant contact the entire time. The installers were absolutely the most experienced and courteous anyone could ask for. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new a/c system. Knowledge, price, experience, they have it all.

When the workers showed up, they tore out all of the old equipment and carted it all away. Then they installed the new. It was a hot day in July and they stayed on the job all day and did not leave until the unit was running. I was so impressed. I asked if they would rather return the next day to finish it and they said no that they knew I would want cool air that night. I was thankful and impressed. Now 4 months later I am so happy with my choice. It is so quiet. It is so efficient. It keeps me warm when I want it warm, and cold when I want cold. Fantastic.

I'll absolutely endorse him and we also had him come in to take care of a natural gas problem we have in the entire association which was excellent so that was a lot of experience.

I use them every spring and fall for maintenance on the units. He is always prompt, thorough, and polite. We have been using them for years and we plan on using them again.

They were very thorough and professional. If things did not work out I would have gone with him. He got back to me and came within a reasonable amount of time.

Great! They send us a postcard when they have a scheduled time to come out. If that time doesn't work we call them and set another date. They are always great to work with ---- don't do more that needed and come quickly when called. They are respectful of the home, wear coverings over their shoes and clean up when finished. We have used them for years. About 4 years ago they installed a new air conditioner. In a few years when out furnace goes I'm sure we will call on them for the new replacement.

1) Estimate process: I bid several contractors for this. Nathan from 72 deg provided very detailed quote.He was the only one who mentioned the gas flex hoses should be grounded and that they would do this, as this was something I wanted to have done anyway. They didn't charge for the grounding strap. He responded quickly on email and with detail. He was professional and took measurements in the house for the load calculations. Although, our furnace wasn't down, he worked to schedule the furnace install within days, for our peace of mind on air quality concerns we had w/ the existing furnace. -72 degrees rated higher in my analysis and won the bid for the following reasons: complete bid price including rebates, ability to provide media filter rated to merv 16 (Lennox HC16), and provided GPS 2500 ionization air purifier. Other pluses: Lennox products installed were assembled locally in Marshalltown, IA. The complete system installation was spread over 4 days, over 5-6 week period. 2) Installation, day 1; furnace, filter and GPS 2400 Jason arrived before the scheduled time and was professional. He offered a great idea for the kids to make a playhouse out of the furnace box, which was a hit w/ the boys.The furnace was installed by 1:00 that afternoon. They also brought over space heaters which we ran to keep house warm, in tandem with the fireplace. Nathan came back to check in after this phase was complete and to answer questions. The invoice was as expected. There was a 1/4and quot; air gap on top of the filter so I had to put weatherstripping on the lid to force 100% of the air flow through the filter. 72 deg couldn't offer anything better than what I had done. 3) Installation; day 2: humidifier: Aprilaire 700 humidifier install OK, however it caused a whistle inside the furnace that could be heard when in the basement. humidifier works well and is sized right. I am concerned with the amount of water wasted, as it was set by 72 degrees. Water bill did go up $30 in first month. I lowered the water rate substantially and the humidifier still worked fine. 4) installation; day 3: a/c condensor outside unit and UV lights. Removal of GPS 2400 unit after trial period, replaced with UV lights over a/c A coil. Didn't notice any positive or negative effects with the GPS 2400, but I don't trust long term health effects due to the new technology and its not used by mainstream systems suppliers, yet. Note: the UV lights were not installed centered over the A/C coil. I would think they should be centered so there is no shadows on moist surfaces. The UV lights show had badly the existing ductwork has leaks, as I had to add foil tape to close off many and quot;lightand quot; leaks. Note: I later found the wrong A/C coil had been installed in order to get the proper efficiency. 72 degrees rectified this issue as it caused a lower efficiency number. 5) installation; day4: installed air conditioner outside unit. Had to wait for a 40 degree day to install this. also worked on fixing a whistle from humidifier. They had to install an extra return due to the increased suction/blower power of the new furnace combined with external air leaks in the Aprilaire 700 humidifier. The extra return in the basement helped warm the basement by sucking in cold air at the floor. I do hear more furnace noise ,however, though that vent. -note: in weeks after the installation we heard a clicking noise in the furnace vents. We found that the copper water supply was vibrating against the return plenum. This was easily fixed with some foam tape. minor quality issue. -The new A/C unit is very quiet outside, much quieter than our old one. It does make a shudder noise during startup though. -all invoices were accurate with the estimates. -There was an issue with receiving the complete MidAmerican SAVE rebates, due to efficiency test results. Nathan corrected the hardware issue and resubmitted the rebate, so in the end I received all of the rebates guaranteed in the quote. Thanks.

I like the maintenance of 72and deg; Heating and Cooling Inc, offer. If there is a repair, you get a discount on repairs and parts with that and then it actually goes down in price every year and I really like that. It has been really nice, it gives a really good total picture of your house's electrical system.

It was also a way to get people to come in; otherwise what do you tell them? Telling companies that one's boiler is taken apart but one would like a diagnosis does not work too well. I also knew a couple of companies that know me very well, and they leveled with me. I felt that they were very honest with me. They gave me a lot of good advice. That is what helped me. If you ask me why I wanted to cling to my old boiler, I will tell you. Boilers cost a lot of money. The boiler was not that old. I do not make that much money. I felt vulnerable because I am single and winter was coming and I work full time and I must find answers fast. Getting answers and quotes was difficult and sometimes slow. Today, I do have a boiler that I am happy with.

Luke was awesome and friendly. He took time to talk with us and explain the issues. He set up our appointment for our fall furnace in Novemember.

Nathan was our comfort advisor. He was very upfront and honest about what systems would best suit our needs. The two men that installed our systems were professional and friendly. Upon completion, Nathan came back to our home to answer any questions we had, and he made sure we were 100% satisfied. We've had several Heating and Cooling companies come to the house, and 72 degrees was hands down the best!

They are very thorough and come out twice a year to check my system and I just love them. They are wonderful and acknowledgeable my cats when they come in. They say hi to my cats and know their names; they are concerned and very nice.
