Description of Work: Bob met and exceeded expectations through every step of the job. I plan on asking Bob to come back and do even more work. He provided excellent service at a good and fair price.

Description of Work: Bob's Home Improvement did a lot of work in a home I purchased last May. There were two bathroom remodels, a kitchen remodel as well as work done in my basement, including window replacement. | |Bob worked hard, did a fantastic job and I don't think I would use anyone else to work on my house, ever. He was that good as he paid attention to what I wanted and followed through on those many details that are inevitably involved in any remodel. | |Even now, I am saving money to have Bob come back and update some more areas of my home. He really is the best ever!

Description of Work: Built screened porch, went very well. There was a design flaw which was my fault; I insisted on a certain feature which didn't work, so extra hours to remedy it. Came pretty much every day. Dedicated to getting it done. Pleasant to work with, honest!

Description of Work: The work done was perfect. I called for 3 estimates and Bob's Home Improvement came in first without any further prompting. Had to prompt the others to bring in their estimates. Bob completed all the work swiftly and professionally. He explained everything to me very well. I was really impressed at his speed and quality of work. I will definitely use him again for my roof and other items.

Description of Work: Replaced flooring on deck and screened in porch, plus new screening, steps, railing and deck supports. Good work. Only negative was we had to wait 5 months for Bob to get to our job.

Description of Work: Bob has worked for us on three occasions dating back to 2006. He has done inside remodeling of a variety of jobs. He is a perfectionist...enough said! We wouldn't hire anyone else.

Description of Work: I had 2 extra hours of labor and a part costing $10. I am having him back to do some more for me. He replaced an outside electrical outlet, replaced 3 outdoor lites on the front of the house, and installed a ceiling fan for me plus looked at some things I want done. I had bought the fan and the lite fixtures prior to his coming. He is very honest and very professional.

Description of Work: I had bob hang a somewhat complicated cork board system. I tried doing it myself, but couldn't get anything to go through my wall. He found time to fit me in his schedule and took care of it quite quickly. He was very easy to work with and took extra time to patch up the holes I had already created, without me having to ask him to do so. |I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: I have an older house, built in late 1800s. I hired Bob to build a screened in porch off of my living room. 12x14. He took my rough design for the porch, made some excellent suggestions, did all paperwork to obtain permit, checked on building code, and was onsite every day (as I recall), with his workers. He did all the electrical work, roofing, drywalling inside the house around the patio door they installed. He also replace a window on the second floor above the porch, reframed for a smaller window. They cleaned up the site each day. Unexpectedly, my outside spigot sprang a leak (frozen pipe). He replaced this and inside the basement, shoved insulation around where the spigot comes through the limestone wall. I'm not even sure he charged me for this.

Description of Work: Bob replaced a screen door on our screened in porch. He was prompt in responding to the call and completed the job exactly when he said he would. We did have a miscommunication in terms of the expectations around the hardware (I expected it to be new; he thought I wanted to recycle the old), but this was quickly resolved to my total satisfaction.

Description of Work: Bob laid a new ceramic tile floor in our bathroom and installed a new window, He did an excellent job and I am about to hire him again to fix some water damage on a plaster wall. Everything has been in place for almost 2 years now and the floor and window are still in excellent shape.

Description of Work: We had Bob's Home Improvement do a master bedroom suite remodel and addition. They remodeled a bedroom and turned it into a bathroom, opened up the wall between another bedroom into the new bathroom and made an addition to the house that connected the bedroom to a living area which included a kitchenette, fireplace, vaulted ceiling, metal roof, porch. He also resided the whole house.

Description of Work: He replaced my ceiling and done some wiring. He replaced paneling on my walls and replaced some drywall.

Description of Work: Bob repaired drywall in my kitchen ceiling and then repainted the kitchen ceiling.

Description of Work: Replaced picture window, built ledge inside window. Painted framing around window and ledge. Repaired and aluminum-clad the outside of bay window. Cleaned up very nicely! Troubleshot problem with electricity to ceiling fan. Unable to determine problem as appeared to be above the ceiling so - at no cost to me - he asked an electrician friend to troubleshoot with him. They spend at least 1.5 hours at my house, made a plan for repair. Bob has done several jobs for me. Next job for me with be replacing old ceiling in kitchen with new drywall.
