Our experience with Bob and his team was wonderful! They were very responsive, showed up when they said they were going to be there and did great work. The tiling in the bathroom specifically in the shower turned out beautiful as well. Great people to work with!

Bob is one of the most conscientious people we have ever known, be he a repairman or family member. He is dead honest and gives 110% at all times. Amazing person.

In the May 2013 time frame they came out to fix water leaks around a couple of windows and replace damaged shutters. I was very pleased with the work performed, the professionalism, and the technical knowledge shown. Then several months later when several more leaks appeared in different areas of the house, I was glad I had someone to call, with whom I had a great experience with. They came out, took a look, and said I would be put on the "list". Weeks turned into months and then months turned into over a year. I called repeatedly and was told that I was still on the "list" and it wouldn't take long, they just needed to find that "one" day. I was always the one initiating the calling. To me it appeared that more lucrative jobs were taking precedence. I liked the work they did so much the first time I was willing to hang in there for over a year, but I finally gave up. I've rated them high for the work initially done, but a D for responsiveness and a C for professionalism for the second job that never happened.

They are outstanding, prompt, reasonable in price and very thorough. I have used them for 6-7 years, they are wonderful. Never had to have anything redone.

I called Bob to get an estimate for replacing our frost free exterior faucet that was leaking. I expected to set an appointment for him to come do the estimate and then another one for him to actually do the work. Bob asked me some questions then gave me an idea of what the job would cost. He was able to come within 2 days. He brought the new parts with him but after examining our faucet, said he said he could take the old one apart and repair it if we would rather do that. After a bit of discussion I decided to go with the new part, but really appreciated knowing I had options that could be a bit cheaper. As Bob replaced the faucet, he gave the pipe a bit more slant so that the water would drain out more readily, and not be as likely to break when it freezes. Out of the goodness of his heart, Bob also removed a second faucet and patched up the hole that was left.--That faucet was left there by a previous plumber because he didn't have anything to patch it with! We are very pleased with the work, the timing, and the price! I will call him the next time I need work done and will not hesitate to recommend his company!

Bob and his team were very professional and pleasant. Bob had good suggestions regarding solutions to problems that arose and also suggested some ways we could save money on the project. We purchased all fixtures, cabinets, mirrors except the paint ourselves. I have already received a quote from Bob on a basement bath remodel and will be having him back to work on that.

It went well. Bob was the most reasonable out of all of the bids that I received, he also allowed us to purchase a lot of the materials ourselves, which ended up saving us money with rebates. He also thought to rent a port-a-john as we were going to be without our only bathroom for at least 2 weeks, which turned out to be an absolute necessity. Once the project was started, Bob was really good about calling me either every day or every other day to keep me in the loop on where they were at project wise. His team was good about cleaning up after themselves and was always professional. When I say gutted our bathroom, I mean that literally - it was tore out down to the studs with all new drywall, tub/shower surround, flooring, vanity and cabinets. The bathroom is amazing - showroom beautiful for sure. Bob was great about advising me on different things that he could do that would assist with the improvements - such as using the remaining tile in our little laundry area rather than the vinyl - he thought this would create a more stable environment, especially because with the age of our home, being level just wasn't something that came easy. I did have Bob come back after the work was complete for just a couple of minor issues, such as a tightening of a faucet and a minor vinyl correction, that he took care of immediately. I would highly recommend Bob and his son, Robert for any project and Bob's Home Improvement will be my first call for any future home improvement projects.

Our final project completed was very pleasing. There were a few minor details that we pointed out about 3/4 of the way through the process...like "it needs a touch up of paint here," or something fixed here. After we saw the end result and how everything looked, we realized we probably didn't need to point out any minor flaws we saw b/c Bob would have caught them himself. I think Bob wanted it to look good enough for it to be his own house.

Bob and his crew came early and worked very hard to get done in one day, they did an excellent job, I would highly recommend using this provider.

It went well. He communicated well and we found his team professional, thorough, and we were pleased with the result.

Bob's Home Improvement did a great job with remodeling an unfinished bathroom. Labor and material costs were close to what was estimated. We selected an Iowa-made vanity and medicine cabinet that nicely complement the existing woodwork and cabinetry in our home. The work was completed with few delays and passed city inspection with flying colors.

I called Bob back and let him know that unfortunately, my work probably should be done sooner than the end of August. I advised him that I appreciated the call and I would definitely consider using his company in the future.

Bob was very prompt in getting back to us when we contacted him about the project. He suggestions as to how to design the new bathroom was very helpful. He suggested and assisted in the selection of the appropriate materials. We were kept informed throughout the entire process and checked with frequently to be sure things were going the way we wanted. His estimate was "right on". Bob and his team were very professional and a pleasure to work with. He will be the first phone call we make when we have other projects.

I contacted this provider through Angie's List. He was very prompt about getting back to me and stated they could not do extimates at this time as they are currently booked a few months out. I was glad he contacted me because I contacted several other contractors and he was the only one to respond to my message!

They were completely professional. Worked around my schedule and got the job done in a few hours. They cleaned their way out of the inside and outside of my home. Thought Angies list was kinda of a joke but now know that it's the real Deal. I would highly reccomend Them. I own several rental properties and know many contractors, got 3 bids. 2 from my people then from BOB. He got me the best deal, He knew when the best windows were going on sale to give me the best price.

He did a great job. He scheduled over 3 days with our time in mine and did a very meticulous job. The ceiling spackling job looks like the original work in the sunlight. I would recommend him to anyone that would want a very the best of work. For the quality of work, he is the best price.

We were in crisis. The non Angie's List contractor walked away from their job leaving a handicapped woman with no bathroom. The guys from Bob's Came in and assessed the damage, and started working right away. They had to fix a multitude of mistakes, made by the non Angie's List contractor. We were so grateful that they started right away. They were courteous, kind and cleaned up after themselves wonderfully. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Work was completed within a week, all work-related debris and messes were cleaned up, everything was done to our satisfaction. The fee seemed high, but the quality of the work was probably worth the expense. (Bob was recommended by our realtor and we chose him because he was available right away, so we could avoid delays in listing the home.)

He couldn't see anything that was obviously wrong with the patio door. It's also a brand he doesn't service (Pella). He did a good job of cleaning the gutters and pointed out some issues on our roof that need to be addressed. He even took pictures to show me the problems. He was very thorough in his explanation of the roof issues and kindly answered all of my questions. We will have him back to fix the roof when he is available. Bob is a busy guy and getting him to your home is the biggest challenge. I called him several weeks ago and he came on a Monday evening around 5:00 after a full day somewhere else. He was there within fifteen minutes of the phone call. He kept me informed of when he thought he may be able to stop in and look at my issues, and even called me on the weekend.

Bob did a good job. He was responsive to my calls. He came out right away and fixed the leaking vent. There was no rush to replace the other vents so it took awhile for him to come by and get that done. He was very busy with other work.

The experience was wonderful, he did a wonderful job.

The work was done with a great deal of professionalism at the estimated price. Bob's Home improvement Company has done a lot of projects for us, and they have all been outstanding. He is always so busy. That is because hsi customer love him. So do we.

I talked to the contractor telling him my desires. He said he would supply me with an estimate. Unfortunately I neer saw or heard from him again causing me to waste my time. If he would have told me he was too busy or just not interested it would have been ok. By saying nothing but promises I wasted several days waiting for his estimate before making a decision.

The guy did an excellent job! He had the mops and all paints there. He brought the paint and took care of everything. He was able to complete his job. He had a very good price compared to anybody else. He came when he said he was going to come. He worked very professionally.

Good service. He was really helpful and the work was done on time.
