Description of Work: Overall, they did a pretty good job on their repair work, however, they missed the actual item that was a problem as several other plumbers had before.

Description of Work: They put in a new furnace. They had taken care of my older furnace that lasted about 8 years. They did ok with the installation and have followed up with the free service call. I was pleased with the follow up and I’ve been satisfied with their service.

Description of Work: Removed old furnace and a/c. Provided new geothermal system with 4 vertical 200 ft deep geo wells with directional drilled pipe from wells to sump under basement floor for connection to heat pumps, provided HE propane furnace backup heat, water heater warming tank to recover waste heat and warm water heater supply water, replaced return air ductwork, installed an additional supply air duct to walk-up attic, cleared clogged duct to bath. Geo heat pump is the a/c in summer. | |The work was done on schedule with no additional costs above the initial lump sum quote. Assigned a project specific project manager that I could call directly to ask questions during the work. Well driller was well qualified (certified Iowa well driller) and a knowledgeable subcontractor. Directional driller hit target first time with precision. Project took about 3-4 days. Two checkups every 6 months were included to verify system was performing properly. No problems after installation. Geo heat performed better during the second year after installation. Geo a/c had no problems keeping up during hot summer days. System appears to be properly sized and balanced. | |Received about $7000 in rebates (Fed, State, Power Co-op) after installation. Coordinated installation of a separate power meter to get lower electric rate for geo heat pump. C&K provided documentation, filled out rebate forms, and followed up with the Co-op for a rebate that had taken the Co-op longer to process. Actual upfront cost was about $23,000, but with rebates, the cost was about $16,000.

Description of Work: We had four small repair jobs. Three were professionally completed. The fourth was not because it turned out to be a bigger problem than we had originally thought. They will be coming back to finish off the fourth job. Appointment time for follow up was convenient for us.
