Mike was very responsive. He arrived the day after I contacted him to provide an estimate. He was able to schedule the painting on dates that met my timeline to put my unit on the market for sale. His crew was neat and efficient. We did a walkthrough the morning he was scheduled to be finished, and immediately before leaving the property completed the items of concern. After the job was finished I noticed a couple of small items that needed correcting. He sent someone to finish those items the very next day. He, and his crew were very professional easy to deal with. Thanks Mike!

Mike was outstanding! He was very punctual and did fantastic work! He told me the work would take about 6 hours but he actually finished it in 3 hours! He was very honest. I was quoted $1000 for the job by another handy man but he did it for half that amount! Mike is very accommodating. He had other obligations but squeezed me in anyway knowing how much I wanted to have the job completed. Mike is, without a doubt, top notch! Mike is finishing up an interior texture and paint for my condo. His work is phenomenal. The estimate was great compared to other painters. I received three quotes to paint my house, and the costs ranged from $5000=$6000 so Eric's was comparable. What I liked most about Eric, and why I wish I could have used him, is that he was professional, quick, and helpful. For example, I called him and he came out to inspect the house within the week, despite it being the holiday season. I had called several companies who just told me "call back after the holidays." But Eric stopped by on 12/15/13 and provided me an email quote within the week. Also, I was flummoxed by what color to paint the house. It was a horrible red barn color that had faded to orange over the years. When I asked if he had any ideas for colors to paint the house he had several recommendations, which I appreciated greatly. This was in contrast to an earlier contractor, who had referred me to a paint dealer's website. Eric clearly had experience and so was able to give me recommendations.

He has a great, thorough team. He's very precise and nothing was too much trouble. There was a misunderstanding about gloss paint (just a lack of clarification on our part) and he instantly went out and got what we wanted, redid the work and didn't lose his sense of humor. Great guys. Highly recommend. Would be delighted to give a reference.

Mike is without a doubt the most professional contractor I have ever dealt with. He assisted with the decisions when I asked for his advice and freely offered less costly suggestions when he could have suggested an expensive option. His entire crew were hard working and very pleasant at all times. We made a last second change of plan that involved extra work painting floor boards but the crew completed it and they too indicated it was the best choice. Mike is very meticulous and triple checks all work to ensure it is accomplished properly. We could not be happier with the work his crew performed. The unexpected leak meant more work involving cutting a patch our of the ceiling and repairing it. I am unable to see a single seam where the work was done. Astounding workmanship! If I ever have a need for painting I wont think twice or look for other quotes as I will go straight to Mike.

Needed help paining this entryway, as the walls are very high and I didn't want my husband rigging something unsafe just to get the job done. Prompt answer from company, easy to communicate and understand. Had to reschedule twice due to a prior job running long, but we understood it was an outside job and had been raining. Arrived on time, with crew (3 people total). The next day after it dried my husband had to get on the ladder and do touch up in one area. Other than that the job went well, the crew was well mannered and pleasant. I would recommend to others who can afford to pay.

We did not end up going with them. They were relatively responsive in giving us a quote, but we didn't use them. Their quote was more expensive than we were willing to pay. I ended up doing the work myself. They seemed friendly, professional, and I could talk with them on phone, and via email. My interaction with them was positive and professional. They were prompt, and courteous.

I was very happy with Mike's professionalism and the quality of the work. My house looks fantastic. Interior - three different colors and great finish work. Mike cut in the majority of the lines on the paint job. Very impressive work. Exterior - three different colors and it looks great from the street as well as close up. Professional Crew - All of his workers were excellent and personable. I did not worry about leaving my house with Mike and the crew. Cost - He bid for the job without the paint, and I was able to choose and buy my paint on his discount at Home Depot. Final Walk Thru - I called Mike two weeks after he finished and had him come over for the final walkthrough, I had a list of a few very minor things and he gladly fixed them and even did more touchups that I did not see. Fantastic attention to detail.

The consummate professional, punctual (Mike and his crew showed up on time every single day!!), friendly, affordable, a man of his word, accessible at all times and just an all around fantastic, down to earth guy. I am a perfectionist and Mike delivered. I did tons of research and received three bids. Mike's price was by far the best. Every time I called/texted Mike, he responded promptly. He gave me wonderful advice on paint colors/schemes. Each day Mike gave me a progress report and let me know how things were progressing. Mike had no problem with me purchasing my own paint at Sherwin Williams (they often have 40% off sales). The completion date was spot on (7 days). The crew was courteous, clean and treated me and my home with respect. Our town home has literally been transformed and I still look at the ceiling in awe of Mike's well honed skill... the ceiling is so smooth and beautiful! Renovations are stressful, but take if from me Mike's Drywall/Painting made the experience so much more bearable.

Mike did an excellent job of working with the building management to get in the all the different units and to get the painting done. He did an excellent job, esp. considering having to work with 104 differnt residents. It saved the building a lot of money to not have to hang scaffolding to paint these areas and rather to get access from inside and to work with the residents. The paint job looks great and matches the old existing paint very well.

Mike showed up on time every day of the job. He completed the work on time and even did extra prep work (with not extra charge!) His crew had to coordinate with other contractors at my place, including flooring and counter top workers not to mention the tile workers in the master bath. His work was flawless. I really can't say enough positive things about him. Needless to say, I would hire him again and I recommend you do too. I live in Washington, DC so I needed to have reliable painter for the short period I was to be in Hawaii to remodel my house. I'm so glad I went with Mike!

The time was estimated to be two and a half days, but the job was completed in two days. They did an excellent job of taking care of miscellaneous holes and were very neat. I appreciated the fact that Mike suggested that I use a different color for trim; I hadn't thought about how two colors would make my unit look more interesting, because I had initially planned on only using one. (I just wanted to get the painting done and over with!) I selected the paint colors; Mike picked it up; he let me know that he was able to get a discount on the paint. He and his crew did fantastic job of cleaning up after they were done. I would highly recommend Mike's Drywall and Painting!

Prompt and courteous communication. Estimate included itemized list so I could choose exactly what I wanted to include in the contract. Great pricing, and I was able to negotiate less by purchasing paint and doing prep work myself. Drywall repair was perfect--you could not tell the difference. Painting was also quality work; my only minor complaint was that there was a little bit of paint I had to remove from the base board. Otherwise, flawless. Mike followed up to make sure I was fully satisfied, and I am. I highly recommend them and will seek their estimate when ready to paint my home exterior.

Mike Cooper?s team (John, Dorian, Jay and Kai) under-promised and over-delivered. I will use Mike?s Drywall and Painting again when I paint my homes interior. The exterior painting work was completed early, and the cost of the paint was substantively less than estimated. The estimate was for labor and overhead, to include profit, but materials (the paint) were estimated at-cost. Mike?s original estimates were consistent with those I received from other vendors, but his higher rating on Angie?s list influenced my final selection. Mike thoroughly evaluated my home?s exterior in preparing his estimate. He noticed that our front lanai ceiling was white, a feature we had never noticed. Mike?s team was personally and technically professional. The result of their work speaks for itself. Mike?s team was confronted by logistical challenges because my home is built on a zero lot line. Additionally, the draconian rules of the homeowners association limited paint color options and sources, required the scaffolding removal at the end of each day of painting, and limited the window of time when the team could paint. The zero lot line required coordination and collaboration with the neighbors whose yard backed up to the lot line. Mike?s team seamlessly accommodated my neighbor?s needs. My neighbors even commented on the professionalism and affability of the team members. The team thoroughly pressure washed my home. They thoroughly prepped for painting with appropriate masking. They were attentive to the potential for the trade winds to drift paint onto my neighbor?s property, and worked to mitigate any drift. At the conclusion of their work they thoroughly cleaned up leaving my home looking better than new.

I was pleased with the results. Mike was a really nice, and understanding person. He was friendly to me during the whole process, explaining what he was exactly going to do, and what has already been done. I would recommend to anyone I know to first check Mike's business out if they have to do some painting.

Mike did a great all around job. First of all after our initial meeting he recommended a Tiler by the name of Kazmer Wirkus. Kaz did a great tiling job my hallway. Mike then brought in Harry's Drywall to install steel studs and drywall on my concrete ceiling (with ugly popcorn). After lots of mess and dust Mike's team prepped, primed and painted the living and two bedrooms (including my new FLAT ceilings!!!!). Working in a condo with all of the rules plus my concrete ceilings does cost more. But it was worth it and I believe I've significantly increase our value.

I have a retail jewelry store in busy Waikiki. Mike was able to quickly bid , and complete the job in the short amount of time we had available. He and his staff were very polite, courteous and able to communicate well. I had other work being done on-site simultaneously, he and his crew interacted with the other contractors in a professional manner. I would feel comfortable recommending Mike to friends and family.
