I appreciated the quick service and promptness compared to other organizations that have a long lead time to respond. I also appreciated the repairman's professionalism and "no nonsense" attitude in fulfilling his job.

I was on a tight schedule, and the service professional arrived on time and changed the part quickly. Took about an hour to get to me and 20 minutes to finish the job, and I was able to have my washing machine working on the weekend. I can't comment on the price as I only got the quote from this company. The company does give a senior discount which was appreciated.

Service was called and the service man fixed it promptly. We do not live at the property full tme; therefore, my nephew reported to me the results as he was there with the repairman and was thoroughly satisfied with his work.

We had a non functioning ice maker in our Kenmore refrigerator, as well as a water suply hose that we could not clamp to the intake. The first repair person they sent out correctly diagnosed the problem, went about replacing the malfunctioning water supply valve, removing the ice blockage in the water feed tube and testing, during which he had to jerry-rig a couple of things as it was not the OEM part. Seemed to work fine. Came home that evening to find that my freezer door was iced shut and the icemaker was dumping out half formed ice, plus a slurry of water inthe tray and the back wallof the freezer. Turned the ice maker off and calledBudget again. They sent out another repair person on the day i requested and solved the problem (first repair person reassmbled my ice maker incorrectly) in about 15 minutes, apologized for the inconvenince and left. While I'm not happy the first visit ended the way it did, I'm more than pleased with the comapny's response to it and lack of drama in setting it right.

LG refrigerators have a proprietary water line for its stand up refrigerator freezers...this waterline is defective and subject to multiple cracks, resulting in water damage to kitchen flooring, as the leak is not readily detectable, since it is behind the appliance. It cannot be replaced with a generic waterline, and must be special ordered from LG at an unconscionable price and delay. Mark, the service man from Budget suggested different, cheaper ways to deal with the recurring problem. He was courteous and very professional.

2 guys came out (didn't instill confidence); said they had to order part and would be back in in 2-3 days; paid for part and express delivery($190); when no-show after 3 days called they sent another person (much better than first two), part hadn't been ordered; called again after 2 days and told it couldn't be fixed and they would send money back. Replace washer and then got call saying part was in..said sorry replaced already and return my money. 2 weeks pass and no check; called again and told check coming from mainland..it arrived week later minus $60.

Our top loading clothes washer would fill with water and then stop. Since it wouldn't wash, rinse or drain we needed to fix it asap. I called Sears (where we bought it from) but they couldn't get a technician out till June 6. I called Ace Appliance but they couldn't get someone out till June 3. Budget Appliance sent someone out the next day. Lance called 30 min before arriving. He was nice, punctual and was able to fix our washer in 15 min. He was great, friendly and even gave my 2 yr old son a high-five on his way out. I would highly recommend their service and use them again. I paid about $160.00 for the washer repair & parts, which included the $55 fee to show up. Ace would have charged $65 and Sears $129 just to show up. He also gave a 1 yr warranty on the parts.

Not only did Wade fix our machine, but he charged us over $100 less than the first estimate we got from another company (which cost us $40). He was pleasant, professional, and prompt. We will use Budget Appliance anytime we have a problem with an appliance. Our good friend on the other side of the island recommended them because she has had good experiences with this company. I asked for recommendations because we were looking for reasonable and honest service.

Called Sears on 1/17/11 since I purchased from Sears. They told me $125 and can't come until February 1. Checked Angie's list and found Economy Appliance Service. They seemed closed for MLK Jr holiday. Called Budget Appliance Repair. Someone answered the phone and asked if emergency or non-emergency. I said non. Person told me next available appointment was next day between 11:00 am and noon. The next day someone called at 10:45 am to tell me he would be there around 11:15 am. He arrived a little before the time noted. He did a thorough diagnosis of the washer and showed me the problem area. He noted cost to repair would be high since the part (main rear bearing) is typically replaced with the tub. He said the bearing can be replaced but it will require much more labor cost and end up being similar or more in cost. Estimated cost would be around $700 but he would have to get a price for the part and get back to me or I can call him back if I want to do the repair. I told him I would call. I searched the internet for estimated costs for similar problem. Prices for similar repair ranged from $400 for part only to $900 quoted for similar repair. I also searched for similar symptoms and diagnoses. They were all in agreement with what the repairman told me. I opted to purchase a new washer.
