The job could not have gone better. One day when the job was going on, they helped me unload a large amount of groceries and take it into my home because I couldn't park my car close to my house. The communcation was splendid, they called everyday to let me know what to expect and always kept me in the know. I was so pleased with the initial work that I had them do some additional jobs that were not originally in my budget and the excellent work continued.

Got it done fairly quickly and with little headache.

His guys showed up on time and did a great job. I would recommend them to friends.

I selected Kevin Murphy concrete over 5 other companies and I am very pleased that I did. Kevin's crew was extremely professional and paid attention to every detail. They worked 12 hour days non stop to complete the job. When they encountered unexpected deep (2 ft deep) concrete around the retaining wall, it took them an extra day and a half to break it up and remove by hand. It cost Kevin more money on labor and gravel and he agreed to split the extra cost with me 50% which was not a win for either one of us, but an agreeable solution. The concrete and brick work looks great and Kevin is an honest businessman that I would reccomend to anyone. The crew replaced a deck over the concrete and had to repair sprinklers that were damaged by the concrete truck and everything is back to normal and looks great. It will not be the cheapest bid you will get, but if you want it done right contact Kevin Murphy.

No work completed based on my decision to delay the project.

My interaction with him was good and favorable. There was nothing unfavorable about it in terms why I like someone and don?t like someone. He seems to be reliable and I believe that he lives in my general area. He pointed out that in this area he wanted to do a good job particularly because he lives here. He seemed to be a perfectly reliable contractor.

We are very happy with the result. The driveway is stamped concrete. They did a wonderful job. It looks just like the cobblestone that we wanted it to look like. The walkways are exposed aggregate. They came out looking like a jewel. We were very happy with the concrete foundation that they poured.

Kevin Murphy did not end up doing the job because it was not big enough for him. He came out on time and was very honest. I said that I wanted something done and he told me that I probably did not need it done, he was very honest.

They came out when they said they would. They were very honest. They matched the bricks very well. It was a difficult job, but they did a good job. Their price was excellent too.

Mr. Murphy was in the neighborhood the day that I called him on his way to another job. A roofer working on my house had noticed an area on the chimney with chunks of mortar missing and felt I should have a mason look at it and see if it needed repair. Mr. Murphy dropped in, went up on the roof, talked to the roofer, and told me that the area in question will be covered by the roof flashing and cement to hold that in place and that will take care of the area. He checked the rest of the chimney's mortar and felt it was in good shape. I appreciated his promptness, his honesty, and his willingness to take a look at a job in an area that I couldn't see and tell me his work wasn't needed. I also asked him to look at some brick steps which are missing some mortar and he told me he'd be glad to do the job, but that my husband or I could do it ourselves and told me what to get and how to do it. If I ever need a mason again - or think I do - I'll call them back!

Initially, their equipment did not work properly. They had to borrow my tools in order make the equipment operational and took the better part of the day in doing so. Their price was rather high as well.

Thank goodness for Kevin Murphy. We had our house inspected and the inspector found several areas that needed repairing. After explaining all of the work that needed to be done, Kevin quoted me on the spot. When he and his crew arrived, they spotted 2 other areas (that the inspector and I missed) that needed attention and added them to the list without adding to the quote. He also patched up our mailbox that had loose bricks. Kevin was also able to help me with a small project (not brick related) when another contractor pulled a no-show. Kevin?s work was top notch and I wouldn?t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others. He was by far the most professional of any contractor I've ever worked with.

We realized that this was not the work that they normally do but they were quite open about that. We talked about what it would cost them to do it. They normally do concrete work and not pavers.

He was easy to work with. He went by and looked it over while I was at work and just gave me a flat rate estimate over the phone. We scheduled the work a week later. It was him and an employee. They were very professional and polite. I had other non-stoop questions and he was patient as he gave me his best guess of what needed to be done. The work probably took 2-3 hrs for $450. The whole thing felt a little pricey, but I had no point of reference for what it should cost. He was so competent and professional I didn't lose any sleep over whether I could have found it cheaper. He also did a few touch ups that weren't part of the job. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

Kevin came to my house for an estimate, but since the job is so small - he recommended I try it myself. He was very nice, and made me feel comfortable with his recommendations. I will call him in the future for any work that I believe might fit his abilities - and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Kevin was prompt to our initial meeting, gave us a fair quote and did the work in a short period of time. He works with just one other person. He and his coworker answered all of my questions and were quick to give attention to areas that I pointed out as potential future problems. He was clean, fast and did good work.

They were very professional and on time. They finished when they estimated. They cleaned up everything and you could not even tell there was any work done. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them.

Extremely satisfied. The owner of the company and one mason built a brick fireplace hearth. The showed up on time and were very professional and clean. I will use them again for what ever masonry or concrete projects I have in the future.

Estimate seemed a bit high, but when Ray called to let me know he had mailed the estimate, added $200 on top of the estimate for pressure wash, even though estimate specifically included it. I chose not to use this provider as they seemed to be trying to charge twice.

The contractor had done work in the neighborhood so that I could see examples of his work. He gave an estimate. We scheduled a date for the work. They arrived on time, completed the work and I was very pleased with the result.

Kevin Murphy takes a lot of pride in his work. He quickly came out to give a quote--which was very competitive. The quality of his work was top-notch. We had a retaining wall rebuilt as well as pouring new driveway and sidewalk. We also ending up having our front stairs rebuilt. All jobs turned out beautifully. The driveway and sidewalk were broom finished and joints were hand tooled rather than being saw cut. He used high quality (4,000 psi) concrete and left a perfectly smooth entry from the street into the driveway. The water flows perfectly into the street and not into our garage or into the lawn. The masonry work also looks beautiful. He did a great job perfectly matching the existing brick and mortar, so the stairs look original. A few sprinkler lines were broken during the driveway installation and Kevin fixed all of these without being asked. All of his crew seem to take pride in their work--they work hard and do a great job. I would highly recommend Kevin.

It took him forever to finish altogether it was 6 months. I think at the end he seemed to have lost interest in the job or something. He was just not as responsive in the end. A small crack came up, which I know happens and I called him about it and he agreed to fix it however it has been 2 months and I still haven't heard anything about him coming out. The job looks nice and I would use him again because of that.

I have pretty nice sized driveway and two sidewalks, one in front of the house and one leading to it. They did an excellent job of smooth paving all of it and I was completely satisfied with both their professionalism as well as the quality of their work. I highly recommend their service and will use them again.

Kevin came by to look at the work site in spring, 2006. He took measurements and promised to mail an estimate. He was pleasant and seemed thorough, but I never received the estimate. Since he came highly recommended, I placed at least three additional calls to Kevin and spoke with him about his lack of follow up. He explained that he was backed up due to employee illness and promised to personally deliver the estimate since he would be working on a job nearby. No estimate ever came. My final message to him simply said that I really wanted to give him a chance, but had to move forward with the project. Finally, I added that I was truly mystified by his lack of response and simply wanted to know what happened to him. To this day I have heard nothing.

Kevin was very responsive to my questions and was eager to do the work the way I wanted. Had excellent suggestions on layout and features. Set reasonable schedule for work and showed up promptly as promised. Communicated well when weather held up the work. Complete the work professionally and completely as promised. I was very happy with the job and will recommend him to others and use him again.
