Kevin was very responsive in his communications and was super easy to deal with in getting a business proposal pulled together. He started work a week or so ahead of schedule and meticulously executed the job as proposed. I am very pleased with the results; if I have any further masonry work he will be the go-to contractor.

Kevin is wonderful. Great to work with. Comes up with good ideas for projects. I'll definitely hire again when I need masonry work.

Kevin was amazing! He zipped in so quickly and went above and beyond what was expected. I didn't think he was going to be able to repair the handrail but he did. I almost wish I had more work for him to do because he was so fantastic to work with.

Excellent. He showed up when he said he would and everyone on his team was courteous and knew what to do and how to do it well. They were quick to tell me that if anything got damaged while doing the driveway it was their responsibility to fix it. Before they left they had me check all my sprinkler heads in case a repair was needed. Kevin called several times afterwards to make sure I was happy with the job and even came by to check the work again.

He does a wonderful job. He did ours 6 or 7 years ago and is in the process of doing my mother-in-laws now. He's done quite a few in her neighborhood. It was affordable. Right in the middle with the price. There was nothing wrong with the service at all. He's very good.

The craftsmanship and construction of the new stoop are first rate. Unfortunately our experience was marred by the poor clean-up performed by the crew, who left a considerable mess in our flower beds and lawn. We are still picking up pieces of mortar and brick, cigarette butts, and other debris. All of this could have been avoided with a tarp and a little care.

If I could give A+s in all categories, I would! My whole experience with Kevin was great. He promptly replied to my initial outreach, shared an estimate almost immediately after I sent him some pictures of the stoop and the situation, and worked with me to find a good time for scheduling. He was also very patient while I waited for my neighborhood's historic commission to give me the approval to move forward with my project. The weekend before the job, he came out to meet with me and suggest some brick types for the stoop and then was able to finish everything within two days. I really appreciated how he kept me updated on progress and explained what he was doing. I will definitely use Kevin in the future!

Our steps were falling apart and the chimney needed re-pointing and sealing along seams where chimney met house. We also needed some small areas sealed on the corners of our stucco home around the windows and light fixtures. Kevin did it all...it looks great and the price was right! Very pleased.

Kevin gave a quote, followed up to schedule repair. He came on time (even a little early), completed the repair. Our steps are now safe and they look great. Kevin was very professional and friendly. We would definitely use him again.

Kevin was great, we originally wanted to the project last summer but decided to wait until this spring, we called Kevin out, he promptly came out and gave us a quote and then we put the project on hold. 7 months later I contacted him about updating the quote, he said he honor the original price given. We scheduled the work and he was here 5 days later, he finished all the work in 2 days, after determining he would need more bricks (our steps were made of historic bricks) he went out to look for more matching bricks, he found them and was able to match our existing bricks. His team was prompt, courteous and neat, at the end of the evening they neatly put their tools aside and cleaned the work area. Kevin even installed a pvc pipe under the sidewalk incase we needed it in the future to run electric, etc. We will hire him again for all of our masonry projects.

Kevin is great. He came by to give me a quote to replace my brick steps which have been sagging since I bought my home 13 years ago. He also referred me to another company.....a competitor who could raise the sagging through an alternative fix....which was cheaper than Kevins quote.....kinda like Miracle on 34th Street when the Macy's Santa sends the mother to store. That established instant credibility with me. In the end, decided just to have Kevin do a cosmetic repair which came out great, wonderful workmanship and attention to detail.

He came out on Tuesday, gave us the quote, he came on Wednesday and got it done. Fantastic work! He did great work and cleaned everything up. He was here on time.

We were very appreciative of Mr. Murphy's quick responses to our emails and his taking the time to advise us.

I called to request an estimate, but reached their voice mail. I left a detailed message describing the work to be done, my name, address, and phone number. I stated the phone number twice, because I know it's easy to miss a number. I never heard back from them.

Kevin was very prompt and easy to work with. He met me at the Stone yard to select materials and proceeded with the work quickly. He listened to my suggestions and concerns and is very nice. Work looks exactly like my plan and I am pleased.

I contacted Kevin Murphy based on Angie's List reviews. He responded same day to my initial inquiry, and made an appointment to visit and give estimate. He showed up promptly at scheduled time (called ahead too), looked things over and said he could repair all the loose bricks, cracked grout, etc. for $450, within 2 weeks (pre-Christmas). We were very happy to have that quote and agreed to the work. Kevin called on Mon, Dec 15th to ask if that was a good day to come (I work from a home office and had said I'd be in town). Yes. Again - right on time. The job took less than 4 hrs. And when I pointed out a large gap between the top of the stairs and the doorway covered by a doormat, (turns out it ran the height of the full staircase on either side too, pulling the stairway away from the house), he said he had not originally noticed that, but would fill that in for us too. And he honored the original estimated amount - even though I know it was more work and time. He was also careful to talk to me about grout color (something I never thought about) before he proceeded. We now have a restored, safe brick walkway and stairs which look great. Definitely recommend Kevin and would hire him again.
