Air Duct Pro

I purchased two coupons in July for air duct cleaning and radiant barrier insulation from this company. The air duct cleaning went smoothly. However, I failed to deduct the coupon from the final payment, overpaying the company $156.00. We agreed to deduct the overpayment from the final insulation bill. I have yet to have Clean Air Pros to do the insulation work. I have had an appointment for the work to be completed 4 times and had to call/email Scott each time to confirm he is showing up only to have him reschedule again. I have been extremely patient! This has turned into the nightmare that I have been trying to avoid by using companies found on Angie's List. Four months of excuses and rescheduling is not what I would expect from a company found through Angie's List. I have invested $555 and the job has yet to be completed. I have no confidence in the company to perform the work at this point and am seeking a refund of the $555.00.

This approximate service date is the first of two requests for work that we did not receive from the contractor. Not sure about when first request was made. The second request which we made was on October 25th 2013. We called and emailed and both times provider forgot or did not write down the appointments. The first request was forgotten or not written down, so we rescheduled a date. The second request was forgotten or not written down. So, I have now decided to stop payment due to lack of work done and appointments missed. Contractor was negligent in getting appointments met.

The provider took our money, took very long to schedule a date and twice did not show up. Clean Air Pros did not return calls for a refund. They have our money and are ignoring us. Unbelievable. I bought the service over 3 weeks ago. Scheduled service. Followed up earlier in the week and confirmed service. After taking a day off work and calling multiple times no one called me back and no one showed up. Finally spoke with Scott and he said it was not on his schedule.

Since August we have made 2 apps w/ clean air pros, each appt got canceled. Been trying to reschedule the last cancellation and they haven't return phone calls or text.

The Service Provider has too much business and is overwhelmed. Needs additional help to cover the orders.

we absolutely enjoyed our experience working with scott from clean air pros! he was SO flexible with our schedule and always called me back by the end of the day. he did the job by himself, and he was so efficient! he explained the how's and why's to everything he was doing! we will definitely use him again and highly recommend him! we had him clean out the vents before we had our baby, and it brought such peace of mind knowing we brought home our baby girl to clean air!

They didn't call me for a couple weeks, making it difficult to set up an appointment. The day of my appointment I received a call that the person coming called out sick. We rescheduled and then they didn't show up on that date, I left a message and have yet to hear back.

Scott was a bit delayed in getting to my house, but reportedly it was beyond his control and he did call to advise me of the delay. He surveyed the project and brought his equipment into the house being careful to protect the marble floor in the foyer. Scott removed the coverings of the registers and simultaneously fed a rotating brush and a vacuum hose into the ducts to remove the debris. Several tubes and wires were necessary to connect the equipment and there was a potential trip hazard, so I was careful while observing his work. He installed a new furnace filter (4 inch) that I provided and tested the HVAC system. Scott did not remove the covers from two supply registers that were in a ceiling about 20 feet above the floor. He dusted them with air pressure from a distance of about 8 feet. Dryer vent duct cleaning was done from the exterior in a manner similar to the other ducts. Before leaving, Scott showed me the debris collected. It was about 2-3 pounds of mostly dust-like particles. Overall project took about 2 hours.

I purchased a "Big Deal" in December for cleaning and inspection of chimney. I called the provider several times before I reached him. He said he rarely came to my area and would prefer to wait till he had several service calls in my area before traveling so far. This made sense to me, so I agreed. He said he'd call back within the next two weeks. I didn't hear from him, and proceeded to make multiple calls over the next couple of month, leaving a voice message each time.. In September, I finally reached him and he said he'd have his assistant call me within the next couple of days to schedule the appointment. I waited; no call. I sent him an email ten days ago. He did answer it, saying his assistant would call. I responded that I wanted to hear from someone by 10/16/13; otherwise I would contact Angie's List for a refund. I still have not had anyone contact me for the service. Angies List was very accommodating in providing the refund.

No response from the service provider. The Angie's List "rapid response" deadline was not met. Left several messages, but just never heard from the provider. I ended up having to seek a refund for the deal from Angie's List. Overall I was just very disappointed in the whole experience. One thing to note--on the page for the Angie's List deal there are several reviews for the provider. In this case, the reviews were all positive. However, when I went and searched for the provider, there were several negative "F" reviews that came up on the provider's page, which weren't listed on the page for the Angie's List deal. This seems kind of misleading to me about the state of the provider. Lesson learned--when contemplating an AL deal, always do a search for the provider to get the most recent reviews.

I purchased the Big Deal on July 28 (3 months ago) and if it doesn’t get done this month I will probably go with another contractor. I know they are a great company so I don’t have anything bad to say because I know they are just busy.

Called the provider several times. Finally got him on the phone but could not talk. He was in traffic. He never called back from any of my earlier messages and nor from our one short conversation. This company is not local which may have been the problem. Hired another local company. Had a great experience. requesting a full refund from this company.

The appointment was rescheduled several times. This last time he did not show up and did not call. The other times I called him to see if he was coming. I just don't want the service now. Thanks.

We had a little problem with scheduling (both by the provider and on my end) trying to find compatible dates for the service but once that was ironed out everything went very smoothly. Scott did a great job cleaning the vents and ducts in the house; very, very pleased with the overall result. He was very professional and answered all questions patiently and thoroughly. Definitely will use this service again and can recommend this provider.

I originally started contacting this service provider on July 22nd. After several emails and phone calls, and sometimes long gaps in between contact, there was a couple different appointments made that he either no showed or called off. Finally a couple weeks ago, I got him on the phone and scheduled an appointment for today at 9am. He, again no showed and when I tried to call him, he didn't answer. At this point I am done with the company and am getting a refund.

The ducts had never been cleaned, and as a result, involved black mold. Scott took his time and did an excellent job. We are going to use this company for additional work, and I have already recommended him to others. You may have to wait to get an appointment, but it's worth the wait to have quality work done. This was a fairly large job and he kept at it until done. Thank you Scott.

I bought the "Big Deal" to have my ducts cleaned on August 29. I was having my kitchen remodeled, so wanted to have ducts cleaned after the project was completed. I scheduled my appointment 6 weeks from the date I bought the deal. Called Scott this morning to double check that he was coming today and he said "I have to cancel b/c of equipment failure". I asked when was the next appointment he had open and he said "i will have to get back to you." I found this very unsatisfactory, and suggested I cancel the service. His response was "i think that is a good idea." From reading the previous reviews, i think it was a smart decision.

No work has been done. I guess that's what I get for paying for service before the work is performed. I will never purchase another deal from Angie's List or this provider ever again!

e is purchased. if this company wants to offer services on angie,s list, the owner should be prepared to respond in a timely manner when service is ordered and paid for. shame on you, angie,for allowing and promoting this kind of scam.

I purchased a service back on August 14th. I originally scheduled the service to be completed on August 30th. On the day on the service the provider called to say he would be an hour late. The service provider than never showed up, never called back and never answered any of my phone calls. The provider called days later to apologize and reschedule. After rescheduling the service, the provider, again, failed to show up, but this time there was not call to even tell he would be late. He never answered his calls or returned my phone calls. After sending him several emails, he apologized again and rescheduled service for the October 7th. After sending him an email to confirm the date, he sent en email requesting the service to pushed out to the end of October. At this point, I have given up due to the provider's inability to keep a scheduled date or notify me of changes to his schedule.

Hi - I purchased special deal that was running in March for said price above and it expired in August. Scott still honored price which I thought was extremely nice as I really needed my vents cleaned. He set up and then explained how process worked. He went though each room did not rush and made sure that he cleaned up any trash that came out of vent even though he covered vents at time of cleaning. He also cleaned furnace then treated whole system with a sanitizing spray. The whole thing went very smoothly and I will use service again and recommend to family and friends. Thanks Clean Air Pros

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and they did an excellent job. They were thorough and professional.

While the owner was very friendly, we were not pleased with the outcome of the service. We were hoping for greater results from the cleaning. Additionally, the owner brought his son who stole from us. The owner did return the stolen item, but it was very awkward and uncomfortable.
