+ -1 moreThe entire experience with this company was very bad! I was able to get a hold of this company the first time to set-up the appointment, then I never heard back from him. I have tried calling multiple times and he never even answered. We also set-up an appointment time, which he totally skipped out on. I had to take time off of work to be here for this service, then he never showed. This is truly unprofessional behavior.

+ -1 moreI purchased this air duct cleaning package in July 2012 for my son's new home purchase. The home is five years old and needed a good air duct cleaning before he moved in. He tried for weeks to get a call back from Clean Air Pros, and when he did set an appointment, they did not show. After a few more weeks they set another appointment then cancelled on the day of saying they need additional workers. I left several messages for the owner of Clean Air Pros and did not receive a call back. Then, on October 23rd I put in a complaint to Angie's List, and did get a call from Clean Air Pros the next day and he scheduled to come out on November 9th, on which was again a no-show. So, I put in for a refund, and Angie's List Customer Service reps were very kind and easy to work with. I don't think I have ever experienced such poor customer service from any professional as I had from Clean Air Pros. Needless to say, I have no idea the quality of their air duct cleaning, since the air ducts are still dirty.

Description of Work: Cleaned and santized all vents and returns. Replaced filter in furnace and cleaned furnace. Vacuum up all debris. Left windowsiles cleaned. Was timely and very courteous. Also cleaned dryer vent and replaced equipment in its respective areas..This job was not part of the $169. deal.

+ 0 moreScott Fountain and his assistant arrived right on time and immediately went to work. They cleaned out the dryer vent, which in our case goes up to the roof; checked the vent on the roof; cleaned out the connecting dryer hose and exhaust; moved the dryer and washer and vacuumed under each, then moved everything back into place and vacuumed the rest of the laundry room. All in less than an hour. Scott was extremely professional and personable. I had several questions about the house's duct work, which he answered knowledgeably and cheerfully. I was quite pleased with the work by Clean Air Pros, and will certainly use them again.
Description of Work: One of the Big Deals of the Week was for professional dryer vent cleaning by Clean Air Pros, so we signed up for the Deal.

Description of Work: All air ducts were cleaned for a two story home. The service equipment used by Clean Air Pros really did an excellent job of cleaning the ducts. They also changed the air filters and showed us how much dust had accumulated. Very thorough cleaning performed.

+ -1 moreGreat! Compared to another estimate we got, Clean Air Pros was much more affordable. They were friendly and gave me advice on how to care for our furnace. Our house smelled fresher immediately. When I scheduled the appointment, we discussed cleaning the dryer vent...but I forgot to remind them during our appointment. They came out the next week and cleaned it for free....I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Cleaned our furnace and air vents for three systems. Also cleaned our dryer vent.

Description of Work: Dryer vent cleaning was performed using a drill and a flexible fiberglass extension rod with a large brush head. Brush/rod was inserted into exterior vent opening and run through tubing back to dryer. Dryer was then turned on and a significant amount of debris was blown free. Process was reversed and brush was run from dryer side towards the outside. Again, dryer was turned on and debris was blown free. Work crew was on-time, professional, careful not to damage dryer or washer, responsive to my request, and cleaned up afterwards. Unfortunately, after departing the dryer vent tub blow off the back of the dryer. I called Clean Air Pros and left a message about the problem. They returned call and left a message. Due to scheduling and logistics as well as need to use dryer immediately, I unilaterally decided to correct/repair the problem myself. Clean Air Pro may well have made the repair if we had ever linked up. My only fault, if there is one, is that I suspect this sort of issue is not an unexpected one. Accordingly, as an industry professional, I would expect preventative measures - such as application of dryer vent tape binding the vent tube to the dryer outlet - to be taken to preclude this sort of issue. This is a relatively minor gig though and one could argue that anticipating a vent tube connection failure of this sort is unreasonable. Still, I would have anticipated it. Overall though, I believe Clean Air Pro's actions and intentions were to provide a positive professional outcome which, other than the disconnect, I experienced.

+ -1 moreWhen they arrived we were told that since we had two systems we had to pay a second fee of $149, so it ended up being $300. They were friendly. The problems we encountered were probably due to their arriving two hours late because of horrible traffic challenges they encountered that morning in getting to their first place. I would have preferred that they call and reschedule for another day when they would focus on the job at hand and not rush. By the time they got to us, very late in the day, they were rushing to get finished. Afterwards we discovered debris on beds and grills that hadn't been replaced. Worst of all was that an antique torchere lamp with a glass globe was precariously moved so that it later fell and the glass globe and special expensive glass lightbulb smashed and got glass everywhere. We've also discovered, with the colder weather, that they didn't clean the vent in our laundry room.
Description of Work: The job to be performed was that they would clean all the vents in the house. The price seemed reasonable compared to other compaies.

After some confusion with phone tag, we were able to set an appointment . . . night before appointment, Scott phoned me to say he was in the neighborhood and if I was agreeable to his stopping by right then he'd be able to do the work that evening . . . so, that is what we did . . . and I was very satisfied with his professionalism.

Description of Work: I was going to also have the dryer vent done, but on checking it, it was not able to be done due to the construction of it and I was not charged - which was nice. One vent got put on upside down, but that was easily changed,, and not a big deal. All in all, very satisfactory.

He called me back Saturday morning. Said they forgot. They thought they were done in our area and never checked the schedule again. He apologized but my husband had already wasted a day of vacation. They never responded back to that e-mail so I called them. I spoke with Scott who stated he was working on a job and that he or his partner would call me later that day. I never heard from them. I sent a follow up e-mail and left another message which went unanswered. I have since found someone else and received a refund for the deal.

+ 1 moreI saw that they had a deal of the day on angie's list and decided to call them to see if they would accommodation a long drive out to southwest peachtree city. When they did I decided to try out their services. I just recently purchased a house and it was a foreclosure, and I just wanted the vents and ducts to be clean when we got in. They were very friendly and when I called them, they were pretty booked for about a month, and they were very kind and said that they would call me back in a week or two or I could call them back. So I said I would call them in the time frame, after less than a week, they called me back, scheduled an appointment and came on time, and they were very friendly and professional. I only purchased one a/c unit and ducts cleaning, but they gave me a deal on my upstairs' a/c unit and ducts, and they also check my basement unit and ducts for free. Very nice people, I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a cleaning of their air ducts, because it is probably very filthy! I know mine were and I am very glad I had this done, I can breath easier. They also checked my dryer vent and cleaned it out.
