AFTER PLACING THE ORDER ON FEB 7, 2013. I CALLED THE COMPANY, "CLEAN AIR PROS" TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT FOR DUCT CLEANING AT MY HOUSE. NO ONE REPLIED MY PHONE CALL SO I LEFT A MESSAGE FOR SCOTT FOUNTAIN, CONTACT PERSON ON FILE. WITH NO RESPONSE TO MY FIRST MESSAGE I CALLED THEM AGAIN, STILL NO ONE PICKED UP SO I LEFT ANOTHER MESSAGE HOPING THAT I WILL GET A RESPONSE THIS TIME. ITS 9TH FEB TODAY AND NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME AS YET. IN RESPONSE TO ALL THIS I WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL MY ORDER AND WOULD LIKE TO GET A REFUND BACK ON MY CARD ASAP. A SINCERE ADVICE................ SUCH NON SERIOUS BUSINESSES SHOULD BE KICKED OUT FROM UR LIST, SINCE THEY ARE BRINGING A BAD NAME TO UR COMPANY.

Duct work had not been cleaned in 40 years. Scott found several vents plugged almost solid. He also cleaned out the air/heat unit itself that was building up with debri. This central unit is under a bi-annual service contract with an air conditioning company who obviously have'nt been doing their job. Great to have even flowing vents again. Will save on electric bill and wear and tear on the central unit for sure.

I called Scott after purchasing an Angie's Big Deal for chimney or dryer vent cleaning. Though it did take a couple of calls to book an appointment, when the service was performed, I felt it satisfactory. My dryer vent wasn't terribly blocked, but I had a dryer fuse that kept blowing, so this dryer vent cleaning gave me peace of mind after having the fuse replaced three times in 3 months. From start to finish, the dryer vent cleaning took about 35 minutes. I felt Scott had integrity and demonstrated his competency in this area. I would definitely recommend his services and use him again.

Scott from Clean Air Pros was professional and courteous. They performed the entire cleaning in about 2 hours start-to-finish. The house smells wonderful now! There was no clean-up or covering needed and Scott and his assistant were very friendly. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants a quality job done right at a fair price.

While they were here I inquired about their chimney services, since I have been afraid to use my fireplace. They inspected the chimney and fireplace and gave me peace of mind about its operation. It was wonderful to get two critical services complete in one service call. These gentlemen are the best!

First, our washer and dryer is on the 2nd floor. Additionally, the dryer vent extends about 10 feel above the appliances. Our vent became so clogged that water was collecting on the bottom of the dryer itself. The cleaner not only had to address the problem right behind the dryer, but also climb on a ladder 30+ feet on the outside of the house in order to clean the vent from that end. After the cleaning, 2 trash bags of lent were collected from when the previous owners had the house. Additionally, there was a bird's nest with three eggs that was gently relocated to a safer spot.

I have tried way too many times to reach these folks to schedule service. I can't even leave a message because voice mail is always full (that's to say I've never had a live person either). Forget emails - no response to those either. Now based on other reviews I have read, I don't have time nor do I want to do business with companies who can't "manage" customer correspondence, much less perform the purchased services. I have requested a refund from Angie's list and will take my money elsewhere.

They didn't show up and they didn't call and didn't answer the phone and no return call when I called and left the messages. We called Angies and reported what happened . Then Clean Air Pros called back and reschedule the appointment. They didn't show up and didn't call and didn't answer the phone again. I tried to called them again and left the messages but didn't return the called again. I asked Angies to refund my payment for the service.

I finally have up on this company. The original service date agreed to was 19 January 2013. The date got shifted due to provider cancellations and "no shows" no less than four times. The provider returned calls twice out of about 20 contact efforts. His calls came after "no shows". I tried to be very patient. I never displayed anger toward him. I even promised a good Angie's List write-up if he would just return my call and finally come do the job (after the last "no show" with no "can't make it" call on 9 February). Even that wasn't enough to get him to respond. This provider is very unprofessional. Do not do business with this company.

After reviewing all the comments on Angies list, I decided to make an appointment. I have never had my air ducts cleaned since I bought the house back in 1997. I called and made an appointment for Saturday morning but Scott called me the same day and said he had availability for late afteroon so I took him up on the offer. Scott and Kenny both arrived to do the job and a couple of hours later, I had all my air ducts, returns, vents and dryer vent cleaned. I was very impressed with their professionalism, they took their time, and cleaned up everything once the job was done. It was a very good experience and I would highly recommend them.

Had a bit of a problem connecting with them but once we connected everything went great. Nice guys and they cleaned up after themselves... Really did a good job!

THIS COMPANY WAS SUPPOSE TO COME OUT FOR A CHINMEY SWEEP. I SET THE FIRST APPOINTMENT FOR 1/31/2013 WITH SCOTT FOUNTAIN. ON 1/31/2013 SCOTT CALLED TO SAY THAT HE WAS SICK WITH SOMETHING AND WE SHOULD RESCHEDULE. I AGREED, SO WE RESCHEDULED FOR 2/7/2013 BETWEEN 8AM AND 8:30AM. ON 2/7/2013 AROUND 7:48AM SCOTT CALLED TO SAY HE WAS RUNNING A LITTLE LATE AND HE WOULD BE HERE AROUND 10:AM INSTEAD. AT 10:30AM I CALLED SCOTT AND LEFT A MESSAGE FOR A CALL BACK TO LET ME KNOW AN ACTUAL TIME THAT HE WOULD BE HERE. I CALLED AGAIN AT 11:30AM TO SEE IF HE WAS STILL COMMING. I DID NOT GET A CALL BACK FOR EITHER MESSAGE. IT IS NOW 1:00 PM AND I AM ASSUMING HE IS NOT COMMING CAUSE I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. NOW I NEED TO CONTACT ANGIES LIST CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GET THE PROCEDURE FOR GETTING A REFUND.

Communication with customers needs improvement and therefore I requested a refund from Angie's List

My concern is about the mess that was left. In the process of cleaning the heating ducts, dust was blown every where in the house. You could see the cloud of dust in the air. My ducts might be clean now, but I had to wipe down every surface in the house! I had the ducts cleaned in my old house and did not have this problem. I wish this company would have told me this might occur. It would have been easier to deal with only dirty ducts rather than a whole house being dusty.

It went great! Both gentleman (one being in the owner of the company) were both very professional. Clean, dressed neatly. The owner was personable and very pleasant to deal with. The cleaned up as they went & left very little dust. It took about 1 1/2 hours to do both services.The owner shared some valuable information about my dryer vent. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Purchased the special listed on Angie's List for $69.00 to have my chimney sweep. Emailed company immediately to setup the appointment with no response for about one week. It was very time consuming to get an appointment. Once I did get an appointment and setup the time, they arrived three hours late during our dinner. After looking at our chimney, they said it was clean and didn't need it, but offered to allow me to use the $69.99 towards an entire house vent cleaning service which we scheduled at that time. Again, they showed up 3 hours late for the 2nd appointment and when they arrived they forgot they were doing a vent cleaning and were not prepared. Said they would call again to setup another time to do the vents, but never did. Nice people, but I would not recommend this group to friends or family as they are not reliable.

All turned out as expected with a guarantee on all their work as well.

I purchased the voucher for a dryer vent cleaning in December and called Clean Air Pros. Scott Fountain called me back and explained that he would be off for Christmas and would call after the holiday to set an appointment. My appointment was set for Friday 2/1/2013 at 9AM. Scott called at 8AM (Friday) to say he had an emergency and could he come on Saturday. We set a time and Scott called prior to coming. I told Scott I had two long haired cats and was constantly washing and drying something. My dryer is 12 years old and I have the vent cleaned yearly to prolong its life. Within 30 minutes the whole process was over. I am very pleased with the service I received. I am planning to have air duct cleaning this Spring (after pollen season.) Clean Air Pros was professional and reasonably priced. At first I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews about punctuality and unreturned calls. Scott responded to Angie's List and addressed all the issues. I also realized that nothing negative was written about the quality of their work. That is extremely important to me. Thank you Clean Air Pros!

I had a wonderful experience with Scott and his team. Shortly after I purchased the coupon, I was given a huge project to do at work which completely changed my work schedule. That made it difficult to get a visit scheduled, not because of Scott, but solely due to the fact that I work way over 40 hours a week and also work in Midtown. Scott kept working with me to get an appointment scheduled. I added an additional service to the dryer vent cleaning and I am so glad I did. They did both the duct cleaning and the dryer vent cleaning. I am very pleased with the quality of the work performed and the service provided. They did an outstanding job. Scott gave me the important feedback that I needed to know and follow up on about critical items (furnace motor, connection between dryer and wall vent). This information will enable me to properly maintain the system between cleanings. Scott and Alex work like a finely oiled machine. They went to every HVAC vent and gave it a thorough cleaning. The only vent covers that had to be removed were the cold air returns. When Scott arrived and I was showing him the house, the first thing he did was let me know what could possibly happen when they removed the cold air return vent due to the popcorn ceilings. We did not have any problems or issues though. I could tell the difference in the quality of the air coming through the vents immediately after they completed the work. Then he moved to the dryer vent. He called me after he had gotten everything out of it and there was a huge pile of lint and build up. It had been completely clogged. I was ready to purchase another dryer that I would not have needed. My dryer vents up through the attic through the roof. He also went up on the roof to clean it from there. He had a difficult time reconnecting the dryer vent because I had put the wrong type of duct on it. He went out of his way to tape the duct at the connection to the dryer and to the wall. This will insure no air leaks until I can get a replacement duct. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work performed and the high level of customer service Scott provided to me. Not only will I be scheduling an annual dryer vent cleaning, but I will also be telling every one I know about Clean Air Pros!! I have put his info in my phone so I have it easily available. After some difficulty getting the inspections scheduled, he came and inspected both of our chimneys and dryer vents and found them to be clean. He did clean my fireplace with a shop vac. and offered to do the same for my daughter's.

I purchased the "big deal" through Angie's list for dryer vent cleaning. Scott promptly called me to set up an appointment and accommodated my work schedule by coming at 7:30 am. My dryer is located upstairs and vents through the roof. The vent had never been cleaned and contained some old brittle tubing. Scott and his crew cleaned the vent and replaced some of the tubing. The amount of lint that came out of the wall was astounding! My dryer works much better now and I feel better that all that clogged up lint was removed. I highly recommend this company and plan on using them again to clean out the air ducts in my house.

We noticed our dryer wasn't drying as well as it had been. We bought the service for a really good price. We knew they would probably be inundated with business from the Angie's List deal, so we knew before we called to set the appointment that they wouldn't be over the next day to clean our dryer vent. We also knew, living in a metro area of 5 million people, that scheduling around the holidays could be a problem, but that's how it is sometimes here in the real world. We paid them to clean our dryer vent, and that's what they did. It was easy to tell Scott and Kenneth knew what they were doing. They got here, did the job right, and left. They are good folks. We will call on them again if we need them.

After being unable to get here on the original day planned due to traffic issues Scott rescheduled for the following day. He called when on his way. Scott was very personable and professional. He explained what they were going to do and that they would clean up before they left. All vent covers were removed and cleaned and each duct was thoroughly cleaned. He changed the furnace filters and explained how to properly install it. The system was also sanitized. They vacuumed up any mess they made and put everything back where it had been. This is an update. Had to call them because one of the ducts from the furnace was disconnected and air was just blowing into the attic directly from the furnace. CAlled on Friday and left a message with exactly what the problem was. On Saturday I left another message as no one had returned my call. Finally got a call back from Scott who was adament that it wasn't their fault and that the exterminator (he was the one that noticed it while check out the attic) must have knocked it off. I assured him that he noticed it as soon as he got in the attic and didn't disturb it. Steve said he would stop in on Saturday afternoon. He never called or showed up. Had company over for dinner on Saturday night and the men volunteered to go up and check it out. They reattached the duct which they said was very loose and that they had to tighten the wire that was supposed to tighten on to the furnace. It is Monday and I have still not heard from Scott. I did text him earlier and tell him that we fixed it. Disappointed. I have lowed my ratings for this company from A's to C's.

They were on time, professional and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely use again and refer to a friend.

I ended up not using the Deal because when they came out they said that the work did not need to be done. It took a little while to make the appointment just because I have limited time available. I was extremely impressed with their thoroughness and honesty when they came. The owner, Scott, came out personally was extremely professional and friendly, and I'm sorry I can't use them! We will save their contact information so we can use them in the future.
