Air Duct Pro

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They were not good. It was very hard to make an appointment. We complained to Angie's List a couple of times. because we had already paid. We had to go through many layers of things to get them out here. Making an appointment was terrible and they said they would come out and then they didn't. They don't have a scheduler. It was 3 guys working together and they were not organized. They put the air filters in the wrong way when they were done.

The actual performance of the service provided was very professionally done. Scott educated me on air filters and maintenance for my HVAC. They put a drop cloth under the equipment to protect the floors and were very careful with my belongings. The process did not take as long as I expected which was great because I was short on time. My only negative is punctuality. My appointment for was 11:00am. Being a business owner myself, time is extremely important to me. I received a phone call after 12:00 saying they were leaving a job grabbing lunch and heading my way. It was almost 2:00 by the time they arrived. I expressed my concerns and he did apologize for the delay and did not waste any time completing the job.

I purchased a Angie's list deal for dryer vent cleaning. They decided it was best to clean the vent from outside. They were in and out in about 10-15 mins. I can't attest to the quality as we moved a couple of months later but I did notice that the burnt clothes smell emanating from dryer was gone since they came,

I was the fool who disregarded all of the poor F ratings and focused on the A ratings based on the Company's quality of work. Well, after confirming our appointment 3 weeks in advance, we waited all morning and afternoon for them to show up. They never did. I called 3 different times. No response until 3 days later. The excuse given was his planner was left in a car he didn't have access to. I would be more patient with this excuse, but with 20% of Angie's list reviews being F because of no-show/non-performance, this excuse is completely invalid. I suspect many others have been given this excuse. I gave the company the benefit of the doubt, and got burned. Please do not make the same mistake as me. Now, I have 3 weeks until a new child is born, with no future availability to get the air ducts serviced. To say this company messed up our schedule is a tremendous understatement.

We had an appointment set up and had to reschedule because of illness. They missed the rescheduled appointment and then I found out it would cost almost double to have the work done.

They did a great job. It went extremely well and the reviews on the website were all correct, he was very good.

The entire project took roughly 2 1/2 hours from arrival to departure to complete all three jobs. The workers arrived at my home about 90 minutes later than scheduled. I might have given them a grade of "B" for punctuality on that, but didn't because I received a call from Scott letting me know they'd had just completed another job which ran later than planned. I understand that's the nature of service-oriented businesses that drive from one location to another, so no big deal to me. There was a lot of dust & dirt in the vents (probably 20 years worth), not to mention a children's book that one of my kids must have forced through a vent years ago. I didn't watch their work carefully because I had my own to do, so I mostly stayed out of their way (besides, their vacuum was loud). But they moved fairly quickly from room-to-room both upstairs & down. As I peered into a number of the completed air ducts, I was impressed with how clean they look - a far cry from some of the filth I had seen in them before they arrived. They also cleaned dirt & gunk off all vent covers before replacing them. What I specifically did not watch was the cleaning of my HVAC system (one unit in the garage), the chimney (standard, pre-build style), and the dryer vent (easily accessible to them from the outside). I know that with the chimney, they blocked off the fireplace opening with plastic before starting in order to prevent soot from blowing into the living room. Despite all the dirt & dust that was sucked out, the floors and carpets they worked around were very clean before they left. I can't know for sure until another month or so, but it will be interesting to see how quickly dust now accumulates on my HVAC filter and also in the downstairs rooms where dust buildup has historically been a problem. Both men were courteous and did well to work around my household as we moved about the house. I was also happy with the price of the work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have the same types of cleaning work (air ducts, dryer vent, chimney) done for them.

I purchased Big Deal "$239 for Complete System Air Duct Cleaning with Unlimited Vents" on March 8th and wish to have the work done in a week. But the company was too busy. They could only book me for two weeks after. So I have to cancel this deal. I think this company must be good, so they will be so busy. I will give it a try if I need the Air Duct Cleaning service next time.

I don't recall the service itself, but we've had no further problem with dust allergies.

Had a great experience from start to finish! Scott and his helper were very friendly, polite and considerate. Scott was honest enough to tell me my chimney didn't need a full cleaning but just some minor cleaning which he did at no charge. Felt very comfortable having them in my home for the few hours they were here. They cleaned up everything when finished. Will definitely use them again!

Although Scott responded to my requests in a timely manner the work never got done. I feel that Clean Air Pros should not continue to participate in Angie's List.

Took some time to get them to answer after we ordered the service. They apologized for the delay due tothe increased number of the calls the had received. We made another appointment and they arrived on timne and did a good ob.

The team was professional and polite. I was expecting dust and soot in the house after they left because of the services they were performing, but they did a good job cleaning up after they were finished.

I thought it went very well. I thought the owner, Scott, was very friendly, very professional, and did a good job.

Such a poor experience with this "award winning" company that I am questioning how useful this site is and if I want to renew my membership.

If I could give more than an A for Scott at Clean Air Pros, I would do so! Everything about the job went seamlessly. He returned my inquiry call promptly, and set up an appointment. During this call he was very specific about what he would do and the costs involved, which were very reasonable. He called before the appointment, and showed up when expected. The work itself was great ? cleaned the ducts for 2 systems, cleaned out the furnace, and cleaned the Dryer vent. There was no mess in the house, as everything was on drop cloths. This is where Scott excels above other Duct Cleaners. Not only did he clean the furnaces and replace filters, he pointed out potential and existing problems with my HVAC which I need to address. The Dryer Duct Cleaning could have been a real problem as evidently the interior fittings had come undone, and dust was being blown into the wall! No problem for Scott, as he cleaned out the wall, then lay down to reach in and reconnect the line ? not an easy feat, and then cleaned the duct! He did all this without even hinting at extra charges. He even noticed a broken hand rail, and offered to fix it! Then, upon leaving, he left his card and stressed that he would return to ?make right? any perceived problems, or to answer any questions. He explained the importance of changing the furnace filters every 90 days, and said if there was a problem with this, to give him a call. I am exceedingly happy with Clean Air Pros, and will use them exclusively in the future! The air in the house smells and feels fresh and clean and I know that all the mold, dust, and general crud is no longer being distributed through the house.

They set up the appointment quickly, arrived on time, and explained everything they were doing. They were thorough, very nice, and worked hard. They removed a large amount of dust from our vents/furnace/chimney/etc. My only complain was that they left the basement door open when cleaning and dust blew through the entire house. I had to dust the whole house after they left. They did apologize for this, however because it was simply a mistake. Additionally, I had to approximate on the cost because I cannot remember what I paid for this service (it was an Angie's List deal).

It went well. This was a task requested by the Buyer of our house and we were on a tight schedule to support the closing. Clean Air Pros fit me into their schedule, but I was last on their agenda that day and they had to work well into the night to do it, so I was very appreciative. Even though we clean the lint filter every time we run the dryer, they still got a fair amount of lint out of the duct.

Great service. Great work. Would definitely use again. Plan to use again to clean whole house ducts.

I think they did a good job and removed a great deal of debris from my ducts.

Scott called enroute to let me know that he was stuck in traffic and would be a little late getting to us, not a problem at all - I appreciate when service providers are kind enough to let you know that. Scott and another man arrived and got right to work - they were very professional and completed the duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning in about 2 1/2 hours. I would absolutely use them again.

Air ducts and dryer vent were cleaned thoroughly. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up their work areas as they went. We were very pleased with the service and will definitely recommend and use them again.
