Tommy's work could not have gone better. He is always professional, fast acting, and does the job correctly the first time. There are several examples of this... we had a leaking water heater that needed to be replaced. Rather than wait until after the holidays, he postponed a vacation so he could get if repaired right away. He said he would have worried about it the whole time he was gone. Another time, we had a clog in one of the underground lines leading to the street. He took video, showed us the problem, then fixed it right away. His prices are fair and very reasonable; he discusses what the cost is going to be upfront, and backs up his estimates. He communicates well not only with me, but also with my wife and my mother in law. I would give Tommy my highest recommendation. He does excellent work at a very fair price.

About 3pm I noticed my sewer line, which runs through a wooded area in front of my house had overflowed through a clean-out valve. I called my usual plumber, however, he doesn't perform sewer cleanings, so he recommened Tommy Epps. Called Tommy, but he was booked, and he gave me another number of someone who was booked up more than Tommy. I called Tommy back, resigned to having to wait till morning. A few minutes after scheduling him the next day, he called me back, saying his afternoon appointment was gracious enough to reschedule so he could come out to my house and fix my emergency drain repair. (Many thanks to both Tommy for trying to accommodate my emergency, and the kindness of his customer with the afternoon appointment.) Tommy also called the city to come check the sewer lines in case the clog was in the street. (Alas, the clog was just a few feet on my side of the property line, so it was mine to fix). It took two hours start to finish and my sewer was back in business. The sewer line will eventually have to be dug up and fixed where the root had worked its way in, so Tommy measured out where the root was (he marked the clean-out snake), and marked the spot where the repair will need to be made. I plan on scheduling Tommy out in the next six months or so to make the fix permanent before it gets re-clogged. Tommy has an easy-going personality and let me look at the live camera picture of my sewer line and explained everything he was doing in understandable language.

Prompt and professional. I would highly recommend. It has been almost a year and the repair is still intact.

Not only did Tommy and his crew arrive for an assumed estimate, but he was confident that he could fix the problem at the same time. He fixed the main problem, checked for others and we were good to go. If I had known how easy the problem was to fix, I would have called him sooner! I really liked the man I spoke with. He was very knowledgable and had a very good display of intergrity. He was very practical and pleasant and didn't try to sell me other things I didn't need. He was also very thorough. The estimate ended up being more than I'd expected, so we didn't do anything with the project.

I asked quite a few people to refer someone for my sewage line problem. One name consistently was mentioned by both locals and professionals alike -Tommy Epps. He is an excellent plumber. He tries to save you money yet delivers high quality results. He also keeps you informed every step of the way. I was out of town at one point and he even texted me video of the progress. Very likable person. Highly recommend him.

Shortly after doing some renovation plumbing we had a totally different problem...backed up plumbing. Epps responded within hours and spent several hours (into the night) finding the problem and performing some stop gap cleaning. But the solution , I was told was to replace the entire pipe from the house to the street, a very expensive task. A few minutes after they left they called back and offered another option, for about $1000 (instead of $5000) we could just clean the roots out of the existing drain and replace a segment that was broken. Tommy was very clear that this was a temporary solution and that eventually, months or years from now we would have to do the whole pipe. That option fit my present budget better so we scheduled the work for the next day. The next day Tommy and his assistant not only performed the pipe segment replacement but called out the city and supervised the cleaning of the pipes from the manhole on the street to our property. This was several hours of supervision that I was not billed for. the overall project was completed within the original estimate. Things have been flowing well and precautions were taken for any future backup to be seen outside before flooding inside. These guys are the best. More than my dollars worth.

Our water bill had gone up dramatically so we checked around our home for leaks outdoors first. When we found none, we needed a professional to check over inside for leaks. Using Angie's List, I decided to call T & E Plumbing. Tommy promptly answered my call and said he could come that same day after lunch for a no cost inspection. Just before 1pm, he arrived with a friendly greeting and professional appearance. He thoroughly inspected all water sources throughout the house (while respectfully working quietly because a baby was napping!). Then he gave me the report that he'd found 2 leaks - one in a bath tub and one running toilet. He explained the work and cost of each repair, and without pressure said I could call at any time to schedule the repairs. Because I believed his price was fair for the work, I asked if he was available to do the work then, and he agreed. ABOVE AND BEYOND: When Tommy went to the water main to cut off the water supply, he said the 2 cutoff valves were very rusty and needed replacing. One nearly broke off in his hand. He called the City to come (which they did) while he was here and only because of his coaxing, did they replace BOTH valves. I had already had the City come out twice to check outside for leaks, and they told Tommy it was their third trip here. First time to DO anything. Tommy completed his repairs within the next hour and then stayed to oversee that the City workers finished replacing both water meter valves before he left. Tommy and his associate were working in the bathroom next to the sleeping baby. She did not wake up for at least an hour because they were so quiet. Naturally they had to go in and out of the house to get parts and tools for the job, but they succeeded in leaving my house as clean as they found it. I could not have been more pleased with their neatness! I will highly recommend T & E Plumbing and will most certainly call them again when I have a need.

Overall, the work and experience was very positive.

Came to give price estimate day after I called. I expected to wait a couple of days for actual repairs, but his next service call was for outdoor work on a very stormy day and he stayed and did repairs. This included going to plumbing supply houses to find toilet tank top. A less honest plumber would have said I need a whole new toilet. First hour of labor is $110 minus a senior discount so a total bill of $152 was very reasonable.

Excellent response and service. I called Mr. Epps when I arrived home from work and found the water leak. He happened to be on my side of town and arrived at my house about 20 minutes after my call to him. Within an hour of my call, assessing the damage, and repairs, Mr. Epps had completed his work and fixed the leak. Mr. Epps also recommended a trust worthy restoration company who was also able to come out to my house the same night to begin the cleaning up process. This is the second time I have used T&E plumbing services. I would never use another plumber ever. I will plan to call Mr. Epps in the future for any and every plumbing related need.

One of the experiences that we had with T&E Plumbing was on a Sunday morning when our plumbing required emergency service. T&E arrived quickly, diagnosed the problem and were able to fix it for us that day. We'll always be grateful.

My house inspector found a leak under a jetted tub in a house that I intended to buy. So I fired up Angie's List and found Tommy's contact. Then I called him asking for a free estimate on the repair cost of this leak, he agreed to come and take a look. On the appointment day, he arrived at the house right on time (actually had to wait for my realtor to open the door). He was talkative and knowledgeable about what he was doing. After some brief looking, he pulled a long nail out of the drain and then tried to tighten the drain connector. Then viola, the leak was fixed! And he didn't charge me anything. After that he walked me through a few things that I need to look at if I bought that house, which was really helpful. What he has done was way beyond expectation and I will sure call him again if I run into problems in my house.

The experience was great. Tommy and his crew were professional and friendly. I am excited at the amount of relief he provided me by repairing the leak at such a good price. I would definitely use him again!

1) The new bathroom faucet works perfectly. He also fixed trap underneath. 2) The toilet had not worked correctly for years. I replaced the works in the tank several times and nothing helped. T & E corrected the problem. 3) The first non-working outdoor faucet had been ruined by a freeze. T&E replaced the faucet, installed a cut-off valve and showed me what to do to prevent this from happening again. 4) The other damaged outdoor faucet had a broken handle which made it difficult to turn. T&E replaced the handle. Also, the faucet was recessed into the ground previously and difficult to reach, so they piped it higher, anchored it, and installed a cutoff valve down below. I was also given instructions in how to properly winterize. Finally, they double checked all the other faucets, sinks, and toilet in the house to insure they were in good working order. Excellent job, reasonable prices, courteous, on-time.

They are not very expensive. They are very efficient and very clean and tidy. They are dressed nicely and they come when they say they are going to come. They clean up after themselves and they don?t leave any mess. They get the job done pretty quickly. We are happy with them and would use them again in future.

Arrived a little bit late, but not terribly. Very courteous and professional. Finished the work fast. Said he was relieved to have an easy job for once. :)

He arrived on time and he was very neatly and professionally dressed. He cleaned up beautifully when he was finished and their prices are very reasonable but I don't remember the exact cost of this job. I would recommend them.
