He was punctual for his appointment. He spent quit a bit of time with me explaining things to me and answering my questions. When I asked him the price to fix my ceiling only, he told me he charged $94.00 and hour. The estimate he said would take 2 1/2 days. This was just out of my price range and was on my high end.

They were responsive and very pleasant. They looked at all of the details of the job.

They seemed very professional, but it was more than I had expected to pay.

They were very responsible during the work, cleaning up and minimizing any mess. They called before they arrived each time and were very professional in their demeanor. The worked quickly and efficiently and the work appears to have been done very well. I would hire them again.

Joel was excellent. Worked long hours! My only complaint is that I did not get sales slip from the supply store(Lowes) for additional materials needed. Joel wrote out the cost on plain paper. I would have rather had sales slip from the store.

They did a good job for me. I spent about $6,000 on that work. They originally came to do a multiple of small jobs, but in the process of all that they discovered that the back wall of my house was all rotted out and they took out all the rotted wood and I think they replaced the 2 by 4’s and also replaced and painted the flab door on the back of the house. They did a good job and I felt that the quality of their work was excellent. The guy that was in-charge was in-touch with me and there was some delay because it was wet and they could not work, but he communicated with me well. He went through and did the estimate first and when he re-estimated when we found that there was more work that needed to be done. There were one or two things that hadn’t been finished and he came back and finished them up and I thought he did it in a timely manner. He was very professional and came in right on his estimate.

They were average; nothing spectacular. The job was satisfactory.

It was not a good use of my time. He basically ignored my request and focused on a small job (said it would cost $825 to put some roof ice and water repellent down and install a missing slate) and when I asked for an estimate he told me he didn't write them up for jobs under $2,000. While that might seem low to him -- it isn't insignificant to me and I was surprised he wouldn't bother and would just expect me to pay for services not specified in a contract. Brant told me I had an area on my roof that was fully exposed -- that there was no roofing material in this area. He was dead wrong. There was a slate that was missing in this course but it was not exposed roofing material. Now I have moved on to other contractors and he will not be on my "to call" list. Be wary of anyone who wont put even the smallest work in writing. Its a sign of potential trouble.

Very well. Years ago, when money was short (kids at university), I installed new six-panel doors on several rooms. I was totally inexperienced and the results were lousy. I didn't even buy pre-hung doors, just blanks. The contractor fixed everything that could be fixed. The old doors that I had not replaced were fitted with new six panel doors this time around. This is a good, professional and responsive company. You can trust them.

Brant was very professional through the whole project, despite our missteps along the way with choosing parts and colors, etc. The service was performed thoroughly and in a timely manner, and he was always quick to get back to us regarding our questions or decisions. He guided us through our first home remodeling experience. We especially appreciated his insight about how to approach structural issues he discovered during the demo.

He is our choice for our up-and-coming renovations. He hasn’t done any work so far, and we are not sure when we are getting started. He comes on time or early for every single appointment. His office is very professional. They always call if there is going to be any change or anything like that. That’s the reason we have selected them. He has come out numerous times. He is very knowledgeable and has got very good ideas. He encourages us towards what we would like in several years and what is going to be durable. He thinks very practically, and that made me like him a lot. He has sound reasons for why we should or should not do a certain thing.

I ended up using another company to get the work done since they gave me a lower bid. However, the person who came out from Case Handyman & Remodeling was very nice, professional and helpful. I would also recommend them to others.

Brant was very professional and honest. I received great service. One of the subcontractors made a mistake but Brant (owner/contracter) was very apologetic and determined to fix the problem. Everyone coming into my house was very courteous and tried to limit the amount of mess they made. They were also very good with my cats (one of which has to be in the middle of everything) and dog. Brant worked with me to make things fit into my budget, and was honest about what needed to be done v. what I could do myself or wait on, instead of trying to push me to do more work so he could make more money. He was by far the best contractor I interviewed/got an estimate from, and although his estimate was the highest, I believe it was worth it because of the headaches I saved myself. Plus, I don't feel like I was taken advantage of (that was a concern of mine when trying to find a contractor because I am a woman doing this on my own). He guarantees his work, has very good references, and was up front showing me his license and insurance. Everything was done very quickly.

It was fine and the price was reasonable. The only trouble that we had was some difficulty getting some paperwork from them.

Brant came out for estimate for the work to be completed. The estimate was given, but I felt that it was more of a sales pitch for his company; such as cabinetry for the kitchen and bathroom. Two and a half hours later no work was done and he didn't call the next day for the work to be started.

We had 2 appointments with him. The first one was a preliminary appointment and the second one was to give us an informal quote after he had time to consider what we wanted him to do. He was terrific. He was very professional. He had to change one of the appointments. He made sure his secretary called me. He was great. When we begin our project, he is going to be our choice. We have made a few changes to the project. I will be calling him to inform him of the changes we have made. The estimate depends on what products we choose and what we do. If we like his ideas and choose to work with him, we pay a $500 retainer and then shop for the products we would use. We found it very reasonable. Our initial plan was to make an addition in the back of my house. It involved blowing out the back of the house, moving a staircase, doing a bathroom, adding a room upstairs and remodeling a kitchen. Blowing the back of the house would be very expensive so we are going to add a sunroom to the back of our house. We will put the washer and dryer there. We will make the half bath downstairs in to a full bath and continue with the kitchen remodel. It was a big project and he broke things down by category in terms of round about what he was going to charge. He had very good ideas. He will definitely be my choice. I liked him very much. He was very good. He fixed appointments. He did not just come in and throw numbers at me. He took time to think about the products I had. Then he sat down to talk to me. He has given me a time estimate for the work. He said the exterior work would take 4 to 6 weeks. He would do that without coming into the house. He said he would have my kitchen up and running in about a week’s time. He was going to try to set something up; a make shift so that I didn’t have like nothing at all in my kitchen. He would leave me with access to the sink so I could still manage the basic functions of the kitchen while he did the remodeling work. We interviewed 2 other people for the job but he was the best.

Our experience was very positive. The estimate was accurate, and the job was done well. When we first called, they responded promptly and set up a consultation visit only a few days after our phone call. The work was scheduled two weeks later. At the time of the consultation, they described in detail what was involved and answered all of our questions clearly. On the day of the project, they arrived on time and finished the work in less than the projected time. The carpenter had the necessary tools and equipment as well as materials.

I will probably hire them but they were a little pricey. The person that came out was very professional and prepared and I believe he was the owner of the company. He told me that he would have a subcontractor call me about fixing the gutters but I never received a call but I don't know if that is his fault. I am thinking about using Case Handyman for this carpentry job.

I originally met with Brent, who is the main gentleman with the company and he has many employees under him. He was very nice, cordial and very much on time. The workers showed up on time and they worked under the expected time frame. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I had chosen Case from Angie's List since they had good ratings and all work was done professionally and on time and within the estimated budget. The workers worked neatly and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. I highly recommend Case for any handyman or remodeling work you need done. Their hourly rate seemed a little high but you get what you pay for. It was a pleasure to have a contractor fulfill all their promises and do the all work professionally and efficiently, on time, and within budget.
