+ 1 moreAll work was done as scheduled and on budget. The crews performing the work were timely, responsive, and neat. All issues were explained and addressed. We were very satisfied with the entire project - from estimate to completion. A nice feature of working with T&T Custom was that payment was not made until all work was completed and we were satistifed.
Description of Work: T&T Custom Crafts replaced the masonite siding on my house with hardiplank and installed six inch seamless gutters including a gutter guard system. They also installed flashing over window and door frames and replaced the existing beadborad with new pvc beadboard.

+ -1 moreJoe Tichenor and his team at T&T were recommended to us by a number of our neighbors who have replaced their windows. Joe was very professional from the start, spending time with us looking at a variety of Simonton windows. He is patient and so easy to work with, returning calls immediately, answering all of our questions, and visiting the job site on a number of occasions during the installation to make sure everything was running smoothly. He does not have the typical salesman personality so we never felt pressured by him and he worked with us to save money wherever it was possible without losing the quality of the windows that we wanted. We were also very impressed with Danny King, who installed all of our windows in two days with his two man crew. The capping around the windows was perfect, so we had him cap the chimney trim and two outside doors as well. He installed a large palladium window over our front door and it looks beautiful. He really does strive for perfection and this shows in the quality of his work. His crew was friendly and professional and the clean-up was spotless. Both Joe and Danny encouraged us to call them if we had any future problems with the windows or capping. We were extremely happy with T&T and would highly recommend them for replacing windows in the future.
Description of Work: We had all of our windows replaced with Simonton Asure and all of the window trim recapped. They did such a beautiful job with the recapping of the windows that we had them replace the trim around the two outside doors as well as the chimney trim.

+ -1 moreMy parents had all of their windows replaced a few years ago and when I asked them to check with their sales person for a referral to someone in the Atlanta area, she was gracious enough to refer me to Joe. I contacted Joe and he soon returned my call and we scheduled an appointment. I immediately knew I wanted to go with the Simonton windows after seeing the quality and warranty. It was a big job and Joe worked with me, I had decided to spread the cost out a little and do a quarter of my home at a time over the next 12 months, and Joe's quote was much better than I ever expected. After the first set of windows were completed, I was so impressed, I had to have the rest finished right away. Joe's install team, lead by Danny were extremely professional and did an outstanding job and cleaned everything up beautifully. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe and his team at anytime. I have already referred Joe to a co-worker and she also has had Joe replace all of her windows already.

His crew was highly respectful of my family and my property, and they cleaned up after themselves without leaving even a single nail on the ground. Description of Work: I have a friend who is a Sales Representive for Simington Windows and recommed Joe Tischenor's compay to me for lthe purchase and installation of windows. I took his advice and contacted Joe. He came out and explained everything in detail to me and was very thoughtful in answering any and all of my questions. He provided me with a great quote for the windows I wanted repalced and was far below the competition.... We came to an agreement and he set up a time and date for the installers to come and take out the existing windows and put in the new Simington Windows. His installers are ot the hightest quality in both workmanship and courtesy to the customer during the porcess. They arrived on time and completed their work on time and picked up after themselves as they went. They truly were a professional company and a pleasure to work with. + 1 moreT&T Custrom Crafts and Joe Tichner have done a number of projects for our family over the past several years. He replaced siding and a large window on my son's condo in Smyrna; replaced windows and siding on my sister-in-law's home in Douglasville, and replaced windows and installed gutters and siding on our home in Douglasville. Most recently, about two weeks ago, he responded to my request to repair gutter and siding damaged by a wire ripped from the house by a tall truck passing by on the road. As always, T&T did an excellent job for a reasonable price. They were prompt to respond to my call and prompt to come out to repair the damage. We spent $200.00 on this repair but have spent several thousand with T&T in the past few years and have always been very pleased. Joe Tichner has always given us good advice and has often offered money-saving suggestions on projects. I have recommended T&T to others and will continue to do so.

Description of Work: My wife and I decided to have our 22 wood windows replaced in our 1990 built house. My wife got on the internet and did a search for window vendors in the area. Within 30 minutes of searching for local window companies online, Joe Tichenor of T &T Custom Crafts called us to talk about our window needs at our house. We were surprised to get such a quick response but pleasantly relieved to start talking with somebody about our window needs. The other two vendors we got quotes from contacted us a day or two later. Joe asked if we would like him to look at our house windows and that he was available that afternoon if we wanted him to come by and give us an estimate. Two hours later and the same day we started looking for window companies, Joe arrived at our house. At this point, I thought I was about to get the pushy salesman pitch on windows but that could not have been further from the truth. Joe gave us a price quote on replacing the windows and showed us the Simonton window his company uses. No sales pitch just straight shooting facts and answers to my questions from a guy that has been in the window business 25+ years. The other two vendors gave us higher price quotes with lower quality window replacements. We chose T &T Custom to do our windows. Joe ordered the Simonton windows and two weeks later they arrived. Joe called to schedule a good time for installation and his work crew showed up right on time. Danny, his window installer, was nice and professional, and did a great job. They replaced all blinds and curtains and vacuumed around each window area after each window installation. Danny then capped all the exterior wood trim around each window with metal trim. This gave the new windows great curb appeal for the house. The removal and installation took about 5 hours for all the windows. Joe stopped by during the installation process to check on the crew and with me to see if I had any concerns. I had no concerns but just good ole appreciation of a job done correctly, timely, and for a good price. Joe showed me how the windows worked and provided me with warranty information. He even said if a window breaks for whatever reason, he would replace the pane for no charge. My wife and I our completely satisfied with the whole window replacement process T & T Customs provided us. Joe, Danny, and the crew did a great job and I am already recommending them to our interested neighbors.

He worked with me on carefully selecting my windows and got the price down to where I was just a little over my original budget after being ripped-off by the other company. I didn t have too pay a cent either until all the windows were installed and I was satisfied. I couldn t believe how quiet my home was after they were installed. I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who needs new windows.

+ -1 moreWe ordered our windows on Wednesday evening. The order was placed Thursday morning. The windows came in the following Thursday. The crew picked up the windows and came to our home by 9:15 the next morning. They were ready to come out Thursday morning, but we wanted to do it Friday. By 9:45 am, the Foreman laid out the plan and the crew had two upstairs windows replaced. By 12:30 pm, they were working on our last three windows (bay windows). If there had not been a problem with the framing for the previous bay window, they would have finished the installation and cleanup by 1:15 pm. As it was, they finished everything by 1:50 pm. What a fantastic job they did.
Description of Work: We had all 23 of our windows replaced. Two of the windows were removed and replaced with a single picture window. We chose the double-hung, twin-pane, argon-filled windows with one of the highest efficiency ratings out there.

+ 0 moreThis was a great experience. There was no high pressure selling, the price was fair, the windows were installed within two weeks of when they were ordered and everything works wonderfully. In fact my next door neighbor came over the that same day to try out my new windows and she used Mr. Tichnor to change hers also. It is so good to have top quality windows that actually open when you want them to open and stay up and have screens that don't fall out! It's even better that we can sit in our breakfast room during the winter now without wearing sweaters from the drafty windows. I highly recommend this company.

Everything occurred as we were told it would and when it was supposed to. When you want a whole house "face-lift" this is the only company you need to call. I'm recommending them to everyone.
