It didn't go so well. The owner came out and I showed her everything I wanted done prior to service. I wanted to make sure they got the baseboards and window sills. I have some high chandeliers that they couldn't reach and she did tell me that upfront. She sent out two young guys. We had to reschedule the first day because they were behind schedule. When they came out they did a basic cleaning: mopping and dusting. I instructed the young men while they were here. The owner failed to tell me that the Big Deal was only for four hours which is not enough time to get done everything I wanted . My home has three and a half baths and five bedrooms. They started in the basement and worked their way up. I know I'm a very particular person, but they rushed through the job. Basically, just lacking an attention to detail in the work they were actually able to do. They sloppily mopped and when it hit the four hour mark they just left a puddle of water. I called the owner regarding my concerns and she came back out with the young men and remedied the situation. The owner made things right and was disappointed in her workers. I was glad she did that, but I spent the time walking through everything with her so I expected more. I would consider hiring for a basis clean, but not a deep clean in the future.

They did set up the appointment really quickly but they were 20 minutes late and didn't call to let me know. The husband only cleaned the master bathroom (taking 3 hours) and the wife only cleaned the master bedroom and two other bedrooms that weren't dirty. They were slow and he didn't clean the toilet a secondary bathroom (could see the water ring in the toilet). They vacuumed and mopped the laundry room. I asked them if they were going to clean the wood floor on our main floor. The husband had left and she was trying to dust the floor. If the cleaning had been efficient the price would have been a good deal.

One guy did a good job of cleaning the tub and tile surround. The mopped hardwoods were streaked and not all of the kitchen counters were wiped off. Too much cleaner was sprayed in the oven and it ran down the stove under the oven and left streaks. They were much better than one cleaning service I had used before. They did show up with all of the necessary items to clean the house. I didn't contact the company to point out these issues as we were hosting a big party and I couldn't have them in the way while we were making preparations.

I like their thoroughness. I like that she was presented to her insurance and bonding information. She was right upfront on everything and has a good understanding. They did a good job when they cleaned.

Simply Special worked us in to their schedule and they sent two young men who did an excellent job. They stayed until the job was done right. We used them again in October when we moved out of the house.

It was okay. They sent one lady to clean but she did a good job. I felt kind of sorry for her but she did a good job. I have a 2400 square foot town house and she vacuumed, she did the wood floors, cleaned the bathrooms, dusted the blinds. She was here from about 10 o'clock to about 3 o'clock. She didn't take her lunch. I offered her water and food. She just worked through and through I felt so bad. Her name was Ravia.

They arrived on time as usual. The completely cleaned my entire house. They vacuumed, wiped down every surface, paid extra special attention to the kitchen and bathrooms. There were 2 cleaners and both worked hard and consistently to get the job done. When I asked them a question they kept working and answered my question. I have to say I have used other cleaning companies and they all were either in a huge hurry or they made me a little nervous having them in my home. I did take the time to ensure the cleaners were insured and had background checks, so I was expecting them to be a little better than the others, and they were. I felt like they must have had special training to know the correct way to be in someones home and make me feel comfortable. I did feel very comfortable with them. They also took away the trash and the used towels and stuff like that. I really feel like other members should really consider using Simply Special Cleaning they did a great job. I use them once a month and I can always tell when they have been here. Second tuesday every month!! thanks Angie!

They came out to do a walkthrough first and explain the process, showed their insurance, and schedule the actual cleaning. On the day of the cleaning two people came out to do the cleaning. They were both very friendly and very through. They did a wonderful job. When they left the house was spotless. After the initial deep clean service, I now have them coming monthly to do a cleaning in the house. They are nice people do deal with. I have a standing appointment every month, so scheduling with work/etc is easy.

Connie came to assess how long it would take them to provide the deep clean. She then decided the deep clean was unnecessary (i.e., my house was too clean). She said I should call for a refund, and she would provide me with an estimate for a normal cleaning.

They did a superb job, highly recommend them!

Simply Special Cleaning came to my house in October of 2013. While overall they did a pretty good job of cleaning, there were a couple of spots that they missed (baseboards in the kitchen...and a spot in the bathroom). I dont' want to sound too picky or one of these people that you can't please. Don't get me wrong...our house looked much cleaner after they left! They did however not clean a room of ours because our house was over the allotted square footage, and they charged an extra fee because we were a little further than the allotted distance. All of those were clearly explained to us before we hired them. I'm not trying to imply that they were pulling a fast one on us. Simply Cleaning DID a good job. I just wasn't left with the notion of "Wow, they are better than anybody else"! I guess in general I would just say that for the money, I'd probably try someone else out.

They did an excellent job. They were responsive, incredibly professional and very thorough.

Edith and Josh showed up on-time and were extremely friendly and personable! They both worked very hard and non-stop for 5 hours (10 person hours). They were understanding that we had a lot more clutter than we had planned around the house due to a family medical emergency the night before and did a great job helping us pick up as they cleaned. Really they did a good job considering how dirty our house was (I have a physical disability, and my husband and I have two children under the age of 4 who are home all day.). However, I have noted a few problems since they left that have made me question if we got a "deep clean", which is the service we paid for, albeit at a great discounted price. There is still dust and dirt in quite a few room corners, a noticeable, wide streak on our bathroom mirror, dried toothpaste on part of my husband's sink and, most concerning, dried food on our kitchen and adjoining library floor. The dried food did not come up with the intensive mop scrubbing that they did (which I appreciate!), but I do believe it would have come up if hand-scrubbed or scraped. In my mind, hand-scrubbing or scraping food off the floor is part of what would set a "deep clean" apart from a normal cleaning. I really am not trying to complain, and my husband and I certainly appreciate all the very hard work that they DID do! They accomplished more in the time allotted them (plus put in extra hours) than we could have ourselves, and I'm very thankful for that! However, the results as noted above did not seem like a deep clean to us, more like a good normal cleaning of a more dirty than normal house.

The company did a great job in regards to contacting my Property Manager immediately following my purchase. I am very pleased with the services rendered and would gladly hire them again. They were punctual, professional and hasty.

I bought the special $149.00 coupon for deep cleaning service. I felt the staff were very hard workers! They worked for the full time allotted and then some. Connie, the owner, was nice to deal with. She was good at "jumping in" when needed and I could tell she wanted me to be happy with her services; I also appreciated her quick responses to my phone calls. The house needed a lot of TLC and it looks much cleanier now. Overall, I think this is a good company!

I called about a deep cleaning coupon to ask about a possible substitution. While I understood their reasoning for not allowing the substitution, the staff did not put me on hold to confer with her supervisor. As a result, I was able to hear how rude the supervisor was about my simple question. Next time, put the phone on hold if you're going to use a nasty tone.

Over all a good job. Cleaners were prompt and polite. Could have paid a little more attention to detail. Coupon said service included refrigerator cleaning but team did not clean it. Other parts of house were done well though. If you use just make sure you tell them exactly what to do.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was very good. I am still using them. They are very personable, friendly and accommodating. They do a great job. I have continued to use them on a monthly basis.

The service was fine and they did a good job for a reasonable price. The scheduling was straight forward and easy. They were on time for the appointment but we did have a couple of issues with re scheduling after the fate. Everything was resolved and we are pleased.

They performed a deep clean for which we were able to use the Angie's List discount. It was a great value! So nice to come home to a clean house!
