Completed each task in separate visits... Were very detailed in the description of the work to be completed and took great care to protect my property when completing the tasks. Clean up was great as was the job overall. Price was fair in comparison to other quotes I had done. I'd highly recommend Bartlett and would use them again.

Our most recent services were to have branches trimmed back from power and phone wires and other trees shaped and thinned. All went well. Sadly, we will have to have an old dying cherry tree removed and replaced with some other flowering tree later this year.

Everything went well. The workers seemed to be experts and did a great job. They also had an answering service, so our inquiries were always answered promptly.

Strong wind gusts broke a green limb on our sweet gum tree. However, the large/heavy limb did not fall to the ground. We called Art Morris and scheduled an evaluation/estimate. We love this company and shook hands on the price instead of waiting for the paperwork. We agreed that they could fit this small job into their busy schedule. Actually they lost track of us, but after just one reminder call, they were out the next day and did a great job as usual. A few weeks latter, the neighbor's lawn service trailer/truck struck our sidewalk/street crepe myrtle hit-and-run style. This large/heavy limb broke off with a jagged stump. We emailed Art Morris for a evaluation/estimate and asked them to take care of this as soon as possible. That same day the work was completed at no cost (gratis). We feel valued and recognized as a good repeat customer and completely trust the judgment of their arborist, Art Morris.

Our most recent contact was to get advice on an ailing older cherry tree. We'll be removing it sometime next year and replacing it with another tree type, most likely a maple. We've been using Bartlett Tree Experts for around twenty five years at two different homes. We've been at our current residence for six and a half years. Our original contact had to do with eliminating aphid dew from a large poplar tree onto our deck. The Bartlett arborist first inspected our poplar along with some other trees that we had other concerns about, including an elm infected with Dutch Elm Disease, and then gave us a quote. We agreed to the contract and they returned to treat, feed, trim and repair the affected trees. Since the poplar was over 50 feet tall, the aphids had to be controlled by the injection of a systemic pesticide. We were able to use our deck again after that treatment. I was very impressed with the quality of Bartlett's work back then, and we've continued having them annually inspect and treat our trees as required. It became obvious early on that keeping trees healthy and in place is much more important to the Bartlett company that just doing tree removal for a quick buck. That's our concern as well. We have them inspect our trees at least annually, and then we do whatever they suggest. Their personnel has changed gradually over the years, but people tend to stay with them for a very long time. All of the arborists we've dealt with have had an applicable masters degree. Bartlett offers annual care services for shrubs and other woody plants, but our concerns have been mainly with keeping our trees as long as possible and avoiding damage from falling unhealthy trees. The largest tree they ever removed for us, at their suggestion, was a lighting-struck ninety-foot-tall hickory that was gradually rotting inward from the lighting scar. It was a beautiful tree, and we hated to lose it. We discovered after they finished the removal that the tree had rotted over half way through, even though it looked pretty healthy as far as my wife and i could tell. A good windstorm would have broken the trunk, dropping it directly onto the house, most likely cutting it in two.

Everything went very well. They were very reasonable and professional.

I used them for the condo because I don?t own the property. They did an excellent job. We were very pleased. They first came out and did an inspection and then offered some alternatives so that we could choose whether to save the tree or take the tree down, they gave us the pros and cons of each option. They made an estimate of how likely it was that the tree would survive because we never know these things. They also told us what it would cost to take it down if that were our choice. They first sent an arborist who made the assessment and then the work crew came out and both were terrific. I would use them again in the future.

This is the second time we have had Bartlett provide services - they did an excellent job in 2005 (not long after we had moved into our house) and thought it was wise to have the arborist, Art Morris, review our trees (as we have a large number and variety of trees on our property and there have been some recent dramatic tree falls in our neighborhood) - in the end, nothing was a big problem - the work was completed in two parts - part two was the liquid treatments and the only hiccup was the need to call a couple of times to schedule the service - otherwise, the service was totally professional, they cleaned up after themselves, they worked near our backyard bee hives without concern - in a few year, we will be contacting them again

The actual work went great. The only problem was that they had problems getting permitting from the City of Atlanta. But this is not their fault.

Good service, but the estimate was too high for my budget, so I found another contractor to do the work. However, the staff were informative and professional. They made a good impression.

They looked at the tree and said that they thought they could save it as opposed to just cutting it down. They will come back next year to check on it and give it more treatments. It would have cost $1600 to take it down, compared to us paying much less to treat it and keep it in the yard. We were very pleased with their knowledge and ability to do what we requested. Their goal is to keep it bug free and help the tree heal from the lightening damage, which will take some time.

I could not be more pleased, from their inspection, appraisal, professional competence and politeness, and the skill of their arborists.

They came out and cut out branches and whole trees. These trees were very big and my house is close but and nothing was hurt. They cleaned up after themselves. They do not sell you on things you don't need. They were very professional. They had great advice for some other trees to help save them.

They came right out and took care of me. They have cut down tree's, made suggestions on how to service them, and serviced them. I would recommend them.

They provide a full service for our trees and shrubs. Trimming is extra. We have a lot of trees and shrubs on our 3/4 acre lot that they maintain. We have used them in several states and they provide a certified arborist. They are helpful and knowledgeable. They leave an evaluation sheet for your input.

They did a wonderful job! Three guys were here from 8:15am until 4:00pm. They did a great job carefully taking down the trees making sure not to hit any of my sprinkler heads and they did a great job cleaning up. They had a couple of questions during the process and didn't hesitate to come ask before they did something which I appreciated.

They had promised to take off a limb that was growing into my dogwood tree, but they didn't get to it. They really cleaned up nice and did a good job. They seemed knowledgeable about their business. They are not just tree choppers.

The guy who came, gave me the estimate was very professional. The first time they came they didn't even touch one of the trees. They only trimmed one side of another tree. I think that they had some type of communication break down between the crew. I wouldn't hire them again because they never finished the job to my satisfaction.

They were terrific. Very professional young crew. They were prompt and did a good job cleaning up. It was a little pricey but I am overall pleased and will use them again. The arborist I worked with were Dan Bauer and the crew chiefs were Tyler and Matthew.

In our area, Bartlett is a well known firm with professional opinions about trees. They are knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and chatty but not too over-talkative. They are very confident and good at what they do. Two years ago, they suggested putting a cable in our Oak tree, which is our largest tree. Well, my wife and I forgot about the cable and that we had to get it checked every couple of years. But when inspected this time, I was impressed to see that they still remembered to check it, as if they were really concerned about our tree.

The company was the ONLY one to respond to my request for a quote. Art Morris arrived on time the next day, was extremely professional and polite, and quoted me a price via email a few hours later. Tyler and the rest of the work crew showed up ON TIME, and were also extremely professional. They did all the work in a timely manner and I am extremely pleased.
