He came at the scheduled time to examine the tree. He walked around my front and back yard to look at any other trees that might need assistance. I decided to just cut the dead limbs/branches from the tree in the front yard. He emailed a Proposal with the work and price.

Two man crew arrived without prior notice. They worked maybe two hours but recorded 14 hours according to their manager. I was at home the whole time. There was very little evidence of any substantial limbs trimmed, and they failed to clean up whatever debris they did produce. I complained to the office. They dropped the charges by about 40%.

The Bartlett team did an excellent job. The arborist gave me helpful information to make a decision on removing a tree. The team that did the removal and trimming were professional and left the job site neat and tidy.

I have used for the last several years Bartlett Tree Experts.There are two treatment. I had the June treatment. The next one is in August. They are $152. I would use them again. I am under a contract with them now to do some work.

I've been using them for probably about five years. There might have been a year gap there. I had one extensive trimming done about four years ago for $1500. Since then, it has been treating for beetles on the trees that are closest to the house, along the driveway and one shot fertilization. That's typically what they do. I had one dangerous limb taken down. They brought a bucket truck and took that limb down. They're kind of sloppy on their invoicing. I had to send an invoice back. I contacted the arborist. They had charged me the original proposal. But a determination was made when the crew showed up not to do the trimming for the hickory trees. They didn't do it and they showed it on the invoice. The arborist said, "Oh I'm sorry. I'll take care of it." It just was aggravating. But they're overall, nice guys. I think they're good arborists and they're really good people, but I think the administration there is a little lax.

Art Morris came from Bartlett Tree and was very knowledgeable and professional. He gave me a straight-up assessment of a large poplar tree I have close to the house. I think many (unscrupulous) tree contractors would have been less straightforward leaning towards condemning a tree just for the business. Will be sure to reach out to Bartlett for future work.

Nick the Arborist was very professional and easy to work with, the crew showed up on time, did the work and some other suggested cuts cleaned up spotless, highly recommend them.

They were very prompt in coming out and giving us an estimate. It was somewhat high pressure so we signed an agreement that day. It was several weeks until the work was completed and we did not receive a bill until we called them. $2600 is too much for one tree. It was a ridiculous amount, and we were not told that this was cash only.

I called Art Morris at Bartlett Tree Experts in Tucker. I asked him to come and perform an x-ray examination of a large tree to see if it was still healthy. (Bartlett is one of the few arborists that offers this service.) He came, looked at the tree and its surroundings, tapped on it and told me that the tree was very healthy and that an x-ray exam would be a waste of $350. When I asked him for the bill, he said it would be no charge. He asked only that I recommend him to others, which I am doing here. We are loyal customers since 2005 and we trust this business like family. Art Morris, arborist, made made an unscheduled visit to assess our trees - which Art does every couple of years. One trip for tree feeding and another for tree pruning. I was home for the pruning and saw how carefully they moved our patio furniture out of harm's way. They also worked around my unoccupied honey bee swarm traps which hang in the crepe myrtles at a height of 30 feet. Their work is very methodical and safe.

clearly a first rate company, well educated, fully trained, workers are pros, supervision is even better. Yes, I paid for what I got but large oaks are a legacy for the future once their cut they can't be glued back in place. These people know what they are doing and they climb trees not using spikes.

Art was wonderful to work with. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He came on time and answered all of my questions. He will be the first person I call whenever I have any future tree issues. I will highly recommend him to my friends.

Prior to their help, my older large azaleas were dying, despite a service by another company. They have helped me save many of my older, large Azaleas. Art, the gentleman I work with, is always willing to answer any questions and is very helpful. This is a top notch company that has provided me excellent service.

I have used Bartlett for several years for all of my tree needs. They do amazing work removing trees and trimming trees. Their arborist is very knowledgeable and will come by and give you advice on any tree or schrub problem. He is a staunch believer in saving any tree possible before removing a tree. When removal is necessary he will assist in obtaining the necessary permits and will provide an estimate of the cost. I have never been billed for any amount over the estimate. The crew always comes on the day and time promised. It's a show in itself watching them climb the trees and swing from branch to branch. They get the work done very quickly and leave no trace of debry when they leave. I would never use anyone else for tree service.

I have used this tree service for over 20 years. During this time I have used them to remove several large dead trees in very tight and difficult areas, along with prunning and annual tree and shrub care. I have also used them after storm damage. They have always been extremely prompt and professional. They are exceptionaly careful not to damage any property or other plants. Clean up after the work has been immaculate. I have always had a very positive experince in all of my years dealing with this company

An arborist assed the trees and gave an estimate for the work. I scheduled the crew to remove the tree and they came on time. They were polite and careful to protect any parts of the landscape in the area of the tree. The tree removal was efficient and the crew cleaned the site beautifully.

Went well, called them back for another tree job ,but price was too high.

Limbs had blown off a large tulip poplar. Arborist came out to assess the damage and recommended trimming branches and thought tree was not a candidate for removal. When crew came to trim, they removed a few lower limbs and found more extensive damage that prevented completion of the job. Arborist was to contact us . Left messages asking to make appointment to remove tree. After several messages we were informed the tree was too large for the company to remove it. We have used Bartlett for several years and had excellent service. Not sure if our last experience is representative of current service or not.

The tree trimming service was exactly what I asked for and received. They were on time. I had been quoted a cheaper price by a company that had no liscense or insurance. Better to be safe than sorry and pay a little more.

I decided to try Bartlett Tree Experts based on previous Angie's List reviews. The arborist who came to provide the estimate (Art) was very knowledgeable, and obviously had a college degree in horticulture/arborist. After I accepted their bid, they did the work 5 days later. The crew that came out was very professional and knew what they were doing (crew of 3 with a bucket truck and separate chipper/shredder truck). They came to my personal residence first, and then I led them to the rental house that was a mile away. We were very pleased with the quality of the work done, and they did a great job cleaning up debris before they left. My wife is a very tough customer (as in demanding) when it comes to horticulture, and Bartlett passed her test with flying colors (the perfect "pollarding" of the crepe myrtles sealed the deal). Without question, we will hire Bartlett again. There are probably tree service companies that could have done the work for less, but I doubt that you would experience the same professionalism and expertise ("you get what you pay for").

They did a great job. They are a very professional company. You can tell with Bartlett that the crew is well equiped for the work they are doing. From their truck to their hard hats to the mats they place on the ground so that falling limbs will not create huge divits in your yard. They took their time and did a great job removing large, dead limbs that we had hanging over our house. They took great care as to not damage our roof. I can also tell they are very well trained. I also feel that Bartlett is all about what is best for the tree and not how many limbs they can cut down to increase the amount of money they willl make on a job. I have been using them since approximately 1998 and all of our trees are super healthy due to Bartlett. I highly recommend this company.

The services were good especially on the tree fertilizing.

Bartlett was one of three companies I called for estimates to give me advice about my back yard. I have a small back yard with several large old trees, and I was concerned for their health and wanted to know if any needed to be removed and what could be done to improve their overall health. Certified arborist Tom Dossett arrived on time and walked with me around my small property and within the hour produced a tiered plan prioritized according to urgency. This three phase plan made it easy for me to figure out what I could afford and plan the work according to my budget. This approach factored largely into my decision to use Bartlett for the work, and I'm so glad I eventually selected this company.There were a couple of false starts with the actual work being done - one due to weather and the underestimation of the crew necessary to do the work and the other due to mechanical trouble that made the first half of the crew a little late on the day of the work; however, once the crew arrived, they worked non-stop from about 10am to 6:30pm. Two members of the crew arrived in the morning with the other half of the four man crew arriving around noon. All of the trees needing removal or trimming were located along the property line with my neighbors. Our houses are located very close together -- only a few feet apart, so the crew had to be very careful not to harm my neighbors' property. They did this with seeming ease. At the conclusion of the day, all of the debris had been removed and the work completed with great efficiency and professionalism.
