Had a 25 yr. old driveway replaced. It was cracked and had sunk quite a bit. The response for a quote was very prompt and the work was completed in just over a day. The driveway and front walk look very nice and are a big improvement. Would recommend the company for any concrete work.

Jeff and his crew removed our old generator slab and poured a new one based on specific engineering specs. They worked with my electrician to coordinate the installation of conduit before the new concrete was poured. I would highly recommend them.

I met and received quotes from 8 different companies to replace a driveway that had significant sinking and cracking. A1 came in with a quote that gave me the best service for my money. I actually had narrowed my search down to 2 different companies. When I told the other company the price for what I would be getting from A1, they said that they couldn't match it and that I would be happy with the service from A1. It is obvious from their name, but A1 Driveway Replacement is very good at replacing driveways. The process was just like it is described on their website. They started in the morning and were done later that day. The only negative I would state related to the service provided is the fact that they were a little messy when pouring the concrete. I still have concrete splashes on my mailbox pole and the utility equipment that is next to the driveway (this was after they sent a team out to pressure wash everything). That is a very minor point compared to the overall service they provided though. I hope I do not need to replace another driveway anytime soon, but I can tell you that I would recommend them again. Now we'll see how well the drive holds up over the years.

I got them from Angie's List. I went with them because they did some extra things that kind of put them over the top. The people who came in to do the work were hard workers. They completed the work all in one day. They started at 8:00 and finished at about 5:30 to 6 o'clock. Their price was good. Their quality of work was excellent and I am pleased with the overall outcome. Their responsiveness, punctuality and professional were excellent.

The replacement was excellent. However , once a crack appeared in the walkway to porch, A/1 disappeared! They have promised to repair the crack for 7 months. Since request to repair crack, responsiveness and professionalism are nonexistent. I can no longer recommend this company.

These guys know what they are doing. We contacted A-1 for a quote, and Scott responded promptly to schedule an appointment to look at the job and provide a quote. He showed up as scheduled and took a lot of time explaining the process to us, and told us it would be completed in one day. He gave us a quote on the spot, and followed up with a written quote the next day via email, and then called us with a date for the work to be done. The quote was a lot less than I had expected, so that was a very pleasant surprise. The crew arrived about 7:45 am, and began taking out the old driveway and walk, and had that done by about 9:45 am. I will mention they had to chop up the walk by hand. Once that was finished, the crew started leveling the ground and setting the forms. Once the concrete truck arrived and began pouring, the crew were like a swarm of locusts spreading it and smoothing it. Then a short break til the truck came back with the last of the concrete, and the same process occurred. They then raked it and made a smooth "picture border" on each square, with a really nice looking result. We had them add 2" to the width of the driveway to straighten it at the top. We couldn't be happier with the work and the results. This is a very hard working group of guys who do back breaking work, and are so good at what they do, they hardly even needed to talk to each other. They are a well oiled machine! A-1 does one thing only and does it very, very professionally and efficiently. They were completely finished and gone at 4:30. Amazing to watch them work. The only time they stopped was when they had to wait for either the dump truck or concrete truck, and there were some minor delays with those because of traffic. The delays did not stop them from completing the job on time. They sent a couple of guys back in three days to pull the forms and pressure wash the driveway. Had to wait two weeks before we could drive on it, but were able to walk on it by the end of the next day. I know this work will last and look good a long time. I highly recommend A-1 Driveway Replacement, and would use them again. You get a lot of expertise and value for a great price.

One thing that was odd (especially with modern technology) was they do not take credit cards, just cash, money order or cashiers checks and they needed to contact me via telephone PRIOR to starting the job to confirm what was previously confirmed and agreed to in the signed Contract/Agreement.

Excellent! The quote was good and the job was excellent. The crew was truly outstanding. We had our 2400 SF driveway removed and replaced with a 5" pour with rebar since we have a heavy motorhome that we drive on it. The work was all done in one day! It looks great and we have received many compliments on how great it looks. I highly recommend A1 Driveway Replacement!

It went great. Jeff who gave me the estimate came back throughout the day to check on the job. They had a lot of work to do which I did not believe they could do in a day. They stayed till after dark and finished it. They had a crew come bay the next day to do clean up and they did a great job as well as the brick guy who came back separately to repair some damaged brick. They did a great job and their price was within 200 of 3 other quotes.

They did a fine job. They didn't clean up real well but I think that might have had something to do with my husband probably saying, "Oh! That's good enough" or something. It looks real pretty, it's just that the edges needed a little cleaning up. I liked that they understood what we were getting at as far as making the driveway so it would go off to the side and so we could drive the RV up at the driveway. Our driveway had a big lump in it so they had to even that out as it went out to the street and they managed to do that really well. They were totally punctual. They did it all in one day. It was amazing! It just looks real pretty.

Based on reviews on Angie's List for both the quality of work and pricing, I decided to use A1 Driveway Replacement Co. to take out our old and badly cracked and buckled driveway and install a new concrete driveway. They were very responsive to my request for a quote, and we had Steve Cullen come to our home to look at the job and give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every detail of what would be done and how it would be done. I really learned a lot about pouring concrete the right way! He listened to what we wanted done, and gave us an estimate that was much less than I had anticipated, so we decided to have them do the job. They were here early yesterday morning and were finished by 4:30 pm. Our driveway is not that big, but it still amazed me to see how quickly they got it all done. This company does only driveway replacements and has been doing this for about 40 years, so they know what they are doing. The crew that was here worked like a well oiled machine, only stopping for lunch or if they needed to wait for the cement truck or dump truck to return. These folks know what they're doing and we are so pleased and impressed with our new driveway. I would highly recommend this company if you are considering replacing your driveway. They are one of the best companies I have ever dealt with on a project, and are very reasonably priced compared to other concrete outfits. You will not be one bit disappointed in the service, the work or the price. Excellent!

The workers did a fantastic job. My only concern was the Jeff the person which I did business with and promise to be at the site during the work, came for 5 minutes prior to the start of the work and NEVER came back even to collect the money. He promise to be here but he was not. The questions and concern that I had were never answered. He never saw the finish product.

They arrived on time and got right to work. They told me that they would complete the work in one day and they were right. The driveway looks great! I would recommend them to any of my friends!

Performed a large job- all in one day! Removed old concrete, realigned the layout of the driveway and sidewalk, laid gravel and concrete- all in one day! It looks beautiful and we've had compliments from our neighbors!

I did not get them through Angie's List, I got it from the neighbor. Everything is excellent.

From the first contact on, really great! Lisa came out to measure the driveway and give me all the "ins" AND "outs" We were going to be out of town and decided that was the best time to have the driveway taken care of. She actually text me a picture of the construction and called me to tell me everything was on time. This was the second bid. . . . first was a friend of a friend in the concrete business. They beat the price by $2000.

They were in and out on the same day. The widened driveway as requested and maintained communication with me during the process. When the crew discovered drainage issues under neath the old drive way the completely regraded the area before pouring the new one. The estimate was given a week before and was very reasonable. They were a great company to work with.

No return phone call Like I said, someone did eventually come out after I left the initial review. He was professional, gave me lots of options for the work I was going to have performed, but I decided to go with someone else.

Extremely well. The crew was prompt worked diligently and completed it in one day. The work looks very good. They also repaired some cracks in a set of steps and added a small pad. OVerall great experience

Steve from A-1 came out and gave us a quote that blew the competitors out the water by thousands for a much better product! We couldn't be happier with the service and product!

I solicited three separate bids and A1 was substantially lower than the other two. Additionally they stated they would complete the project in one day. The other two bidders indicated the work would take a minimum of several days. Since all three bidders were included in Angies' list I selected the low bidder. They arrived at 7:00 AM as scheduled and quickly removed the existing concrete, in fact the removal was complete before I left for work at 8:30. My wife called during the day to report they were still working, with their only request being they needed the garage doors open. I arrived home at 6:00 PM to a completed drive and walk. In addition to the general excellence of the concrete work, they repaired a yard drain including piping a downspout under the new work. I recommend A1 Driveways without exception.

I had other companies providing a quote. The pricing was very similar, however, communication was quite different. With A1, I spoke with Jeff and he would listen and reason on what best to do and also my needs and doubts. With others, it was like talking to a wall. On the day of the work there was a different proposal by the chief of the crew to optimize the extension I needed on the driveway. It was different from the design on paper, but they suggested a different path. The result has been very positive. They have done a much better work that it was designed. They also volunteer to fix a piping problem I add without charing anything. So not only they did all the concrete work, they also fixed surrounding piping problems. There has been an issue with saw cutting, as the city wanted to add some sawcuts, and the team did more than it was asked, and they cust a brick of the door steps while doing sawcuts on the walkway. But I will forgive these small mistakes thinking about the overall results.
