LGI Landscaping

Unfortunately I am highly dissatisfied. I received 3 additional quotes to remove the leaves from my grassy area. Those quotes ranged from 176.00 to 225.00 to move all the leaves to the rear of my property (all of these individuals came to my home and looked at the job). I discussed the job with LGI (Ralph) over the phone and he mentioned the deal for 180.00 for 4 hours of service. It seemed like a fair deal knowing the job being quoted to me by the other vendors estimated 2 to 2.5 hours to do the job, but I assumed they would use 2 or more people to do the job. I was impressed with the ratings LGI had. LGI promptly came to my home to do the work, today. I have no idea how long they were here as I was not home I can only trust they worked the hours they promised. Per Ralph 2 men worked 2 hours (the 4 hours quoted). Unfortunately they only partially cleared the front yard and left 4 large leaf piles in the front and did not touch the rear. The other quotes were for the full job. Per Ralph to complete the job would require his two man team an additional 4 hours to complete the front and side of the house (180 more) this would have been a total of 8 man hours. This obviously WELL ABOVE all 3 additional estimates I received ranging 175 - 225. I discussed this with Ralph and could not come to any agreement. The only offer I got was to clean up the remaining piles in the front for and additional 80.00. Mind you I took the 25 minutes of time while there was still daylight with my tarp and old rake and cleared 3 & 1/4 of the 4 large piles of leaves myself. That should give you some idea of the amount of work 80.00 will get you with a two man crew. The long story short - do your homework and get a full job quoted. LGI may have been on my property for 2 hours and it may have taken them the 2 hours to do the work they did. I can only say I normally do this work myself but have been too busy with my own job to get it done. (It usually takes me ~6 hours by myself in a single day and a backpack leaf blower, rake and tarp) In the future I will not go for a "Deal" and use the quotes I get from the individuals who came to my home and quoted the full job. Skip the 4 hour deals and get the full job quoted.

Provider was quick to respond and did a great job.

It went okay. My priority list was not followed as much as I would have liked but the overall quality is good. I have used LGI in the past and the experience was great. Another service provider is providing the same service for $150.00 but decided to go with LGI based on previous experience.

A bit disappointed with the work performed. Needed lawn aerated but vendor forgot the aerator, needed to have dirt moved and an area leveled but the vendor forgot his wheel barrel and then he asked my neighbor to provide one. Left leaves in a couple of bundles so I had to get these bagged myself. Left plants sitting without actually planting them as we ran out of time. I really needed 6 hours of landscaping time and not 2 hours of a rushed job. At the end of the day this cost me more than a quote of 500 to do everything including bringing the dirt and planting seed. Plus I ended up planting some of the plants and bagging the leaves.

He aerated and seeded my front and back yard. He was very nice and measured the overage prior to performing the work to give me the price and wait for my approval. I would use this company again

Awesome. We were very happy with Ralph. He listened, made good suggestions, and understood our budget priorities. We were very impressed when he finished the work we asked him to complete, then asked what else he could do because we still had time for our purchase (we bought 6 hours of service deal). We're already planning more projects he can help us with.

LGI was very responsive and scheduled the install right away. He installed according to my instructions and was very efficient and neat. I will definitely use his services again.

I told them what I need completed and when I returned home at around 11, they task were completed as requested.

It went perfect! Ralph and his team are wonderful. $290 - 6 hours of yard work. (AL deal) $275 - 50 bails of straw (including laying it down) (AL deal) $180 - cost of additional straw because yard was so big. (Quoted onsite prior to work being done)

Booked appt on same day I made my purchase. They messaged with 30 mins or so. That was just the great beginning. LGI was on time, followed instructions, cleaned up, very professional. very good value. absolutely nothing to complain about. Will use them again when we have a need. Great company. I highly recommend.

They were on-time and got started right away. Ralph was very easy to work with and understood what we needed to have done and made it happen quickly. They did a ton of work and the yard looks great now! We plan to use them again. We had used another landscaper before who came with an attitude and wanted to tell us what we wanted rather than listen. Ralph listened to us and did everything we asked him to do. We're very happy with the results!

The group was very professional and courteous. Arrived on time. Told us when the four hours commenced and when we could expect them to finish. They were very productive and cleaned up when they were done. We would definitely use them again. Thankyou!

My only negative comment is that they misunderstood about placing the pine straw, and started putting it on the trimmed-back ivy. That stayed there and looked a bit sloppy. Also put pine straw over some considerably large weeds, which popped through the pine straw fairly quickly. Having weeds trimmed back more would have been nice.

They id a fantastic job with little direction.

After heavy rainfall, water had been coming through a section in the back of my house and into the basement. LGI carefully studied the landscape and suggested a course of action that included a small retaining wall to prevent water from spilling over a juniper hill as well as a french drain. The french drain was designed to prevent water from pooling at the foundation and potentially entering the basement. All the work was completed with a high degree of quality, efficiency, and professionalism. LGI Landscaping was the only company (among 5 others I solicited estimates from) that presented a solid plan of action and timeline to complete the work. The landscaping solution was primarily designed to provide a functional solution to a specific problem; as a bonus, the retaining wall actually adds to the aesthetic value of the landscape as well. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the landscaping services provided by LGI.

Showed up on time - were responsive and make the backyard look like it 5 years ago.

Terrible...awful. For $180, this company dispatched 3 people to do my front lawn. Scheduling them to come out... problem. "We're really busy, sorry." My instructions were to cut the lawn, edge, shape the shrubbery, prune low hanging branches and any hanging over my fence and remove all leaves and branches.... problem. They cut the lawn and edged and asked how'd we do. I explained that $180 included pruning branches and cutting shrubbery ...problem... they cut a couple of branches. I turned my head and they left. This company is terrible. Simple tasks. They took advantage.

We bought one of the Angie's deals and three workers came out for approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes. They trimmed some small trees and bushes. Hedged. the driveway. Picked up leaves and cut back overgrown plants. Cleaned up a flower bed out front and overall did the work we had been ignoring for a few months. They did a great job, were very nice and easy to work with and we would hire them again.

Excellent provider with excellent service. They actually exceeded my expectations, and I will be using them for future services. I wish I would've purchased more hours, so they could've done my backyard as well.

Did an excellent job, cleaned up the landscaping that had been neglected.
