Description of Work: They performed general landscape maintenance work, like clearing shrub beds and pruning bushes. They showed up on time and performed as expected. I have since also had them deliver and install pine straw, for which they also did a good job.

Description of Work: 50 bales of pine straw installed. Only issue they showed up a day early and no one was home to give directions, put up animals, and I was not quite ready for them. Looks nice, though.

Description of Work: Picked up leaves, bagged and took to curb.

Description of Work: I had specifically requested a call ahead when I purchased the deal and he came without calling. Next, he quoted me a totally absurd yard size when I had got a quote from other company just few days before which mentioned our yard to be significantly less in size than what he quoted. For last 8 yrs we have paid in the range of $400 for the same work for which he wanted me to pay $450 on top of $139 which I had already paid for the deal and so when I asked him that I do not want him to perform any work unless he can agree to do it for $400, he asked me how I am going to pay for the difference since I wasn't home. I told him that we can mail a check if he leaves the invoice in the mail box but he wanted to come by my office and pick up the check right away instead. I agreed to work with that arrangement but when I told him that I am not at my office but working at a nearby Starbucks, he refused to believe me and just hung up on me saying this is not going to work!!! I have never had anyone through Angie's List talk so rude to me before and so I decided to give these guys an F for everything!!! I would NEVER use these guys EVER and NEVER advise ANYONE to use them either!!!

Description of Work: Cut weeds down, laid pine straw and put pre emergent down.

Description of Work: They efficiently cleared brush and leaves from our backyard, filled holes and recommended pruning and maintenance of our bushes and plants. They were terrific.

Description of Work: They communicated well, and did the job, just like last year, and I have a great yard to show for it.

Description of Work: They called me while I was at work and told me that they could come that day. I explained that my yard was a mess and needed a lot of work, grass mowed, yard trimmed, shrubs/bushes cut back, and I told him to leave the ivy gardens as they were. When I came home, I was shocked and brought to tears by what had been done to my ivy gardens. They were cut back nearly 1 1/2 feet from the driveway and all of the ivy had been removed from my mailbox. I had grown the ivy on my mailbox for about 15 years and it was all gone. The owner was not very apologetic and stated that most people don't want ivy, so, he removed it. In addition, the cuttings were left on my curb in ripped bags (waste removal was part of the deal). When I asked about that, I was told that was a misprint in the ad and I was told that my trash service should pick it up. My front yard looked horrible! It was an awful experience and I would never recommend anyone use this company. (I have photographs)

Description of Work: We purchased a "Big Deal" voucher for 4 hours of general yard service and asked the crew to help us cut down dead vines and limbs from a wooded creek area in our back yard. It was neither a glamorous nor easy job but the guys worked extremely efficiently and accomplished as much as I had hoped. | |Only snag from our end was that they were unable to haul away the limbs, leaving us with a giant stack of debris to be dealt with. | |Can certainly vouch for LGI's professionalism and efficiency though. Would use them again if the occasion arises.

Description of Work: Lawn aeration. The job was completed and the results were excellent.

Description of Work: They came out and aerated my lawn, I did not need to be home and it was quick and efficient.
