Initially, the work had to be delayed because of the snow/ice storm, but afterwards when I contacted Ralph again, we set a firm date and he and his crew arrived on time as scheduled. They went to work right away and bagged all the debris as they cleared the banks. Afterwards they carried all the bags to the street and lined them up for trash pickup the following day. I would not hesitate to ask Ralph to do lawn work for us again. The juniper banks behind our home look so much better now, and we are able to enjoy the lake view and wildlife without all the clutter we had before.

The service was provided in a timely manner and well done.

Their service turned out to be very well and they did a great job. We had to reschedule because of the winter storm. But when they came out, they did a wonderful job. They were very professional, in and out. They get the work done and they did in four hours of backyard work which was quick and great. They took a little while longer to get back to me than what I expected, partly because of the weather. That's why I give them a "B" on responsiveness.

They did a good job, had lots of new growth afterwards.

The service worked out really good. The city had a problem with the sewer, and everything had become flooded, till they come and fixed it, they dug a trench and pulled up the old drain and put in a newer and better angle of drainage. We had to rebuild an entire hill of dirt on the side of our home, because we had taken out all the vegetation, and put in 4 large trees. It was a big deal because each tree weighed half a ton. It was a huge undertaking, because they had to bring in several truck loads of field dirt, and pack it down, and clear the area and put the trees and put an irrigation system and then cover it up. It was all well timed and everything. They put in the 4 trees, after building the hill and putting in irrigation, and covered it with mulch and pine straw. They put in boulders to define the property line. They will be doing more work, but the weather has been so weird for the last month, so we held off. I felt the price was reasonable, especially after I saw how much work was involved. We will do additional landscaping on another part of our property with them.

Scheduling was fine. They made it look nice but cut down plants they should not have.

It was okay. It was not exceptional but it was good. They scheduled it immediately after I purchased the big deal and it was done very very quickly. They followed up right away and I do not know it was because of my conflict or whatever but they were out here very fast and that is so important. They came and did the things in the lawn and that was really it. They did the things and then left. I did not really talk to anybody or deal with anybody for an extended period of time so it was just fine. There was nothing wrong with it. There was just not a lot of interaction. The price was great and the quality of the work was good but it was not great. They also showed up on time. I will absolutely use them again in the future if I need to.

It turned out fine. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I’d asked them to call me before they came, and they didn’t call. I wasn’t prepared as I had wanted to be. I wanted to cut the grass before they came by.

They did a great job. Bagged all clippings, and cleaned-up nice.

The guys came and mowed my lawn, trimmed my bushes and flower gardens. They also cut up a big tree that was down in the backyard and put it in the front for trash removal. I would hire them again.

Went above and beyond work request, a very thorough job!!! Would definitely use their services again.

Excellent work, very pleased with work. Trimmed all shrubs, bagged and tied debris and put at curb. Cleaned yard nicely.

We purchased a deal on Angies List for $120.00 for 4 hours of fall clean up yard work. We have lots of trees and when the rain started we gave up on picking up leaves. I think Ralph filled 25 bags of leaves with someone else. They did a good job and I only wish I had bought more bags because a small amount could not be bagged but those were moved into piles.

The provider was very punctual and called me the day before to let me know that he was coming..... it was at this time he told me that since he was coming with a "crew", I would be entiled to an 1 1/2 hour of service instead of the 4 hours that was listed. He arrived on time....his "crew" consisted of 2 men who spoke very, very little English....The owner came with only 1 hedge cutter....his two man crew basically held the lawn trash bags watching him cut the bushes. The owner and his crew were very polite and courteous.....the owner worked steady while I had to coaxed the crew to place the branches in the bags..... I probably got my money's worth but I"d hardly call this a deal or a bargain....could have found a better deal on my own......I was expecting much more than this....I was disappointed that the owner had only 1 hedge cutter....you would think that with a crew, he would have had at least two hedge cutters....his rake was broken in half so I let them use my rake. All bags, rope ,etc...were provided by me....

Ralph and his crew arrived early and worked at a great pace. They were knowledgable about what plants to keep and which to pull. They did a fantastic job shaping my hedges and bushes. We will definitely have them back soon.

He called me a day or two after I emailed and/or left message. i gave him directions over the phone to the property and he told me he was going to visit the property that day and get back to me with an estimate that day or the next day. Well, i did not hear back from him for almost a full week and when he did call, i got a feeling of 'deja vu', because he was asking for directions to the property again and told me he was going to get me the estimate. I reminded him that we had already had the conversation, and he apologized and promised me an estimate that day.....................Never, ever heard back from him. You know, I get it, we are all busy and make mistakes and forget things, the deja vu moment could easily be anyone of us. I'm a pretty reasonable person and give folks a 2nd chance, and had he called me back the 2nd time around, who knows, he might have been the one i awarded the contract to, unfortunately, and like the old saying goes, "you don't get a second chance to make a good first impression"

Ralph contacted me promptly after I purchased the Angie's List deal, just as expected. He asked what exactly I expected to be done and that I leave the clean-up bags to put the yard debris in and let me know I didn't have to be home for them to do the work. Upon arriving home from work the evening after the clean-up was complete, we were absolutely ecstatic when we pulled into our driveway. All of the leaves, branches that are built up over the past month + (I hadn't yet been able to hire a reliable landscaper) in the prime of the fall season were completely gone. Let it be known, I live in a heavily wooded neighborhood. My yard is .8 acre with the back half being woods. The landscaping (non-wooded half) was done in the 80's and is comprised of a ton of unnecessary, random bushes. They got into every area, every crevice, every deck, every path and have made our property look absolutely beautiful! We couldn't possibly be more pleased and will definitely be hiring LGI for future work! Thank you so much, Ralph and team at LGI!

Ralph and his crew showed up for work a few minutes before the scheduled time. The entire crew was professional and friendly. They completed the work to my expectations, and cleaned up after. I would use them again.

They were very punctual, polite, and professional. I would have liked them to have provided their own yard waste bags to collect the detritus. Other than that, they did a nice job.

LGI never called to confirm. They showed up on one of 3 dates that we offered and were unable to enter the neighborhood gate. They came back the next day and performed the core aeration without knocking or ringing the bell. The paid-for service was aeration and overseeding. When I called after the fact I was condescendingly informed that overseeding wasn't done on my type of grass at this time of year. I also mentioned that they had failed to aerate to the property line on one side, missing by at least 10 feet in one area. I pointed out that if they had bothered to knock or ring the bell, I could have showed them the property line. It was clear that they didn't care about the overseeding issue or not aerating the entire lawn. Our lot is less than 0.2ac.

They aerated our front/back yard. They were prompt, courteous and professional. We would definitely use their services again!

I guess I didn't understand, I thought that they will call within two days but they showed up when we weren't at home. They just showed up. I was a little worried but the grass came up and I was happy about that. I was very surprised when I came home and my husband said that they were about to finish when he came home from work. It was a surprised because we haven't heard anything. I bought the big deal on Sunday and they were here on Monday or Tuesday that week. I haven't set up anything; I wouldn't have gotten the yard ready. The good news is the grass is coming up so I was unhappy and happy with the result. In the end it worked out fine.

The estimate was precise and the services that Nick performed were exactly what we talked about.. His service was scheduled and his crew appeared as promised. My entire house has a much better look thanks to the weeding, pruning, mulch renovation and the addition of sod in needed areas. Nick also offered a competitive price to perform much needed services in the future. If you want to work with an honest, hard working landscaper...Nick and LGI will have you covered.
