Bought Angie's Big Deal. I called Aarons the same day. Appointment made for the following Wednesday and he arrived at the designated time. He then called in an entire team so the job would be finished by evening. We were without water for approximantly 2 hours Having used other plumbing company's in the past, Aarons was great and I hope if you need plumbing work use Aaron Plumbing. We love the tankless.
Description of Work: Water heater needed replacing and we decided to go with Rinnai tankless. Had been thinking about this system and Chris explained the system, Federal tax credit of $300.00 and used Angie's big deal. The quality of Aarons Plumbing from first call to final contact was outstanding. Aarons pricing included furnish and install tankless water heater ( top of the line), all gas and water vent piping, removal and diposal of old water heater. Replacing pressure regulater, adding thermal expansion tank with heater.

We purchased the Angie's List "Big Deal" for an inspection of our whole plumbing system--wow! What a bargain, no kidding! Because I suspected a leak in a bathroom sink, Aaron's Plumbing scheduler fit us in for the next day. Jim, the assigned plumber, arrived on time, wore paper booties, and went through the house stem to stern to assess our plumbing system. The supposed leak turned out not to have been a leak at all, but rather an effect of the configuration of the pipes. (Just think about the rip-off opportunity there for a moment. I mean, really, how would I know the difference?) I really fretted over our plumbing system (30+ years old PLUS incredibly stupid previous owners), so imagine my pleasant surprise when after all was said, done, and inspected, just two toilet supply lines needed replacing! Yay! Funny enough, two days later, our dishwasher sprang a leak, and Jim came back. He arrived on time and was incredibly polite, professional, patient, funny, and quick to discover the hole in the water feed line to the dishwasher. "No charge," Jim said at the end of the service call. "I should have caught that during the inspection." One word: wow. Thanks, Angie's List. The slightly higher price we pay for these services is so worth it. Thanks, Jim, for your wit, candor, thoughtfulness, professionalism, and integrity. Aaron Plumbing should be so pleased to have you on its team. ~J Cooke
Description of Work: Jim Whatley performed a whole-home plumbing inspection, which we bought as a "Big Deal" on Angie's List. Two days later, our dishwasher sprang a leak, so we called Aaron Plumbing back, and Jim took care of us again.

They were very expensive and charged me $260. I don?t think parts a labor to change the flush tank system, will be so expensive. They were here only for half an hour and I don?t think it was worth. I will never use their services in future. The company called us several times to discuss the job. Ultimately they refunded the charge. I have updated their rating to reflect this. I am still not sure if I would use them again, however, I was happy with their customer service and willingness to resolve the problem.

We called the office late afternoon for help with a leaking kitchen faucet and Brian came out the next morning. When the faucet proved to be a quick repair, he offered to help with any other plumbing problems. We appreciated his effort to provide a good value for the trip charge and took advantage of the company's whole-house inspection. Brian adjusted the water level in two toilet tanks and replaced polybutylene piping that was a weak point in our home plumbing. He was very professional and accommodating, even going out for supplies so we could avoid scheduling another appointment. We now have a one-year service agreement that has already paid for itself, and we will definitely use this company again.
Description of Work: Fixed leaking kitchen faucet, completed whole-house plumbing inspection, replaced polybutylene supply lines for five sinks with stainless steel braided lines, and adjusted the water level in two toilet tanks.

original quote was too vague and a bit high based on personal experience & opinion.was able to obtain breakdown between the 2 jobs and labor vs hardware.only decided to do one job since the other would be a "throw-away" due to futureplumbing plans. If you want quality work, can't go wrong with Aaron Plumbing. Highly recommended.Note: quality work does not always come cheap & that's OK with me.
Description of Work: Mark was the plumber that provided the quote as well as performed the work. The work and replacement hardware quality was superb - replaced whole house sediment filter, well pump pressure switch (leaking - original reason for getting a plumber), re-routed the piping to the pressure bladder tank, secured & braced the sediment filter and piping to basement wall (easier to change filter, stronger support, well pump start & stop no longer vibrates the piping; subject to cracks & leaks over time).

Mark was great!!!!!!!!!, He showed up at the appointed time and not only did he perform all of the services promised, but he pointed out things that I could do on my own to maintain my houshold plumbing and answered all of my questions straight forwardly and without hesitation. He did not have to do this, and I feel this is a reflection of his high character. Kudos to him and his company.

Five minutes after submitting a late afternoon email request for plumbing services, the phone rang and it was Aaron Plumbing replying; someone would be available the next morning between 10 AM and 1 PM. At 10:05 AM I received a call saying the repairman was on his way and a few minutes later, Thomas arrived more promptly than any repair service I had ever called previously. Thomas took a look at our two leaks --- one in an upstairs bathroom that had begun staining the ceiling below, and one beneath the kitchen sink. In both cases we thought it might be something minor, such as a failing water turn-off valve, but Thomas expertly assessed the situation and suggested alternative theories to the mysterious leakages. In the bathroom, the seal around the toilet was failing ( he discovered that the floor was slanting and settling). In the kitchen, it was not the turn-off valve at all, but a broken seam in the kitchen faucet. After providing a written estimate of the cost for the work, Thomas got to work while I ran to the hardware store to purchase a new faucet. Ordinarily, I would never leave the house with a repairman alone -- but I knew even after our brief encounter that I could trust this gentleman, so off I went. By the time I returned, Thomas had replaced the upstairs toilet with a more efficient model he had on his truck. He replaced a downstairs toilet with a newer designer model I had sitting in the garage and he replaced the broken kitchen faucet with my newly purchased one. Thomas had to come up with a very creative solution when he discovered that the attachment pieces that came standard in the new faucet package were inferior and may have caused new leakage problems in future years. So, Thomas took some copper pipe and MADE his own attachments, long enough to secure the faucet superbly!! He said he had used his creative idea several times during his 16-year career and was surprised that he has never seen anyone else come up with a similar good idea. It worked... and the three jobs were completed in 4.5 hours. The price estimated for the work remained the same after completion, even though more was involved than Thomas had originally anticipated. We were delighted! One note... Thomas expressed how grateful he was that I had supplied him with access to the refrig to help himself to as many bottles of cold water as he wanted, I found a radio so he could enjoy his work by listening to music, and I turned the air conditioner a bit lower to help keep him more comfortable as he labored with heavy tasks. I was just treating him as a guest in my home -- but such nice treatment must be rare because he couldn't get over it. So friends and neighbors, please be good to your repair men and women -- they work hard and a little kindness can go a long way in making their day a little happier. We will definitely call Aaron Plumbing again if we should ever need their services!
Description of Work: Aaron Plumbing came to assess two leaks. Both were the result of more serious problems than we had anticipated, so the work involved replacing two bathroom toilets and one kitchen faucet.

My experience was fantastic. I have never been more pleased with a company and their exceptional customer service. I will definitely call Aaron's in the future if I have a plumbing need.
Description of Work: I contacted Aaron Plumbing because I heard the sound of water running near my washer and water heater. When Jim arrived he asked me several questions to determine if in fact the water leak was isolated to the house. He listened to the sound of running water and said it definitely was not normal. Jim checked a few other obvious things before he said that leak detection equipment was needed to locate the water leak. He asked me if I wanted him to come back the next day to try and locate the water leak informing me of the charge for that service. He was extremely helpful and did not push me into anything. In fact he kept emphasizing that he would not cut into walls or the floors until they knew there was a leak and where it was located. He seemed really respectful of me and my home and would definitely cause as little disruption as needed if a fix were required. I agreed to have him return with the leak detection device the following day. The next day Jim worked diligently to see if he could locate a water leak using the leak detection listening device and checking the water pressure etc. Nothing pointed to a leak and he did not charge me anything for the 2 trips and the time he spent trying to locate a leak. He then contacted a leak detection company who would try to locate the leak and mark it for Aaron's to fix. After Jim left my house without locating a leak I tried to hear the sound of water running after the water was turned back on and I did not hear anything. I called Jim and he immediately turned around and returned to my home to look at the leak detection arrow on the water meter which had stopped. We were amazed. The meter is still normal. We cancelled the call to the leak detection company and I am monitoring the situation.

Over the weekend, our electric hot water heater quit working. After reading other reviews about Aaron Plumbing on Angie's List, I called them. They dispatched Mark out to the house in about 90 minutes. Mark diagnosed the problem - some of the electrical elements on the heater had shorted out - probably due to severe storms in the area. Mark fixed the hot water heater and gave it a good servicing. I also asked him to look at a leaky faucet and I told him that on of our toilets didn't always flush well. I assumed we just needed a new toilet. Mark said he had time to look at those things, and he fixed both of them. He told us the toilet itself was fine. It needed a new part that he had on his truck and we did not need a new fixture. He also lifted it from the base and re-sealed it on the floor, as he saw evidence of a little bit of leaking on the floor. His work was reasonably priced, he was very professional, he cleaned up everywhere he worked - it was a great experience. I will definitely use Aaron Plumbing again and highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done in their home.

Very good experience. Brian was very professional, offered ro wear booties, put cardboard down and kept everything clean. He also suggested the grease eating drain cleaner once a month to help keep the drain clean. We would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Brian was great. He listened to all the methods we tried before deciding on what to do next. He gave my husband the option of cutting back the shrubs etc. to get at the outside drain, rather than charging us to do it. He used the automated snake and cleared all the way to the ouside drain. About 50 feet. He even offered some grease eating cleaner if we wanted to purchase it.

Brian did an excellent job. As far as the quality of work itself, it seemed quite professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing. He suggested how we could get rebates and also a coupon. We are happy with the work performed. Our only gripe was that it seemed pricey. The discovery of high water pressure was unexpected and added to our expense. The rates charged by Aaron Plumbing for the different services performed seemed quite pricey. Even for the simple connector from the pipe to the water tank, they charged me $30 when similar connector was priced around $6 at home depot.
Description of Work: We had a water leakage problem in one of the upstairs toilet due to a leaky valve on the connector to the water tank. When we called Aaron Plumbing, the service guy who showed up was by the name Brian Sloggy. He arrived on schedule and was quite courteous. He performed the following services and definitely showed professionalism and seemed quite experienced in his work. The water leaking from the toilet tank connector valve had flowed thru the floor and messed up about a square foot of drywall on the ceiling of the lowerlevel. Brian had to cut thru the drywall to inspect the pipes and make sure the pipes were not rusted. Interestingly it seems they do not fix the drywall after the inspection/repairs. I had to get another guy to come and patch the drywall. Since the toilet bowl and tank were very old, we decided to have them replaced. We bought both the bowl and tank from this company. We knew we could save some money if we bought it from somewhere else but we had time constraints. Brian suggested i could get a rebate from the county for installing a low-flow toilet and that was helpful. The next thing we had done was to check the water pressure in the house. It turned out the pressure was way too high. Brian highly recommended that we have pressure valve replaced and explained what could potentially happen when the water pressure is unusally high. We decided to go ahead and have the valve replaced. The problem was the valve had to be located first and it turned out to be not easily accessible. More drywall had to be cut to access the valve. It definitely was hard work for Brian. After all the fixes, Brian again measured the pressure and it was normal.

We were in the middle of a family Fathers day pool party and discovered that the carpet in the basement was soaking wet in certain places. We immediately saw from the water discoloration on the ceiling where it was coming from. I called Aaron and the were here within 2 hours, fixed it within an hour and our party went on.
Description of Work: Again, we had a water pipe leaking in the ceiling of our basement and again this company was here within 2 hours and fixed within an hour. A different technician from last time and he was just as professional and courteous. I highly recommend this company.

I called Aaron Plumbing on Monday afternoon and made an appointment for Tuesday afternoon between 12 and 3. Mark called right at 12 and told me he'd be out in 30 minutes, which he was. Immediately, I could tell that Mark was very professional and he was probably the most courteous plumber I have ever met. He diagnosed both of my leaks within the first few minutes in the house and told me exactly what he was going to do to fix them. He gave me an estimate, which seemed very fair and also told me what a worst case scenario would be in case he was wrong with his original diagnosis. I appreciated this very much. Luckily, he was right from the beginning and was able to fully repair both of my leaks. I know that given the age of my house, I will have some more issues down the road and I won't hesitate to call Aaron again and I'll certainly ask for Mark.
Description of Work: Mark changed a cartridge in a shower faucet in our upstairs bathroom that had been causing a leak and also replaced a gasket behind a plate in the tub that was causing a leak down to the garage.

If your looking for a Plumbing company that will treat you very fairly and show up on time and qive you the quality work we all deserve then Aaron Plumbing is the one to choose!!!!
Description of Work: Having a water line break on a holiday is never a good thing and I was very fortunate that Aaron Plumbing was able to come out in such a timely manner and get me fixed up right away!!!! Jeremy was very easy to speak to and arrived on time just like he said he would on the phone. He replaced my entire water line to the house and his installation was much better than the original one could have ever been!!!! Aaron Plumbing did not charge me a drive time fee or a special Holiday rate which was quite high from some other places I checked with.

I had a leaky kitchen faucet that started creating a puddle under my kitchen sink. I called Aaron Plumbing Saturday at 3:30 and asked for help. I found them on AL and saw all the acolades, so I felt great about calling. They could not get to me until the next day, which is why I am giving a B on responsiveness. Chris G. called me and gave me an eta. He was here before that. He was very courteous (slipped on booty over his shoes), professional, he made me feel at ease after he shook my hand. He asked how he could help, and I showed him the problem. He told me what it could possibly be and gave me a price (their standard home call price). He asked if I was comfortable with the price, and I said yes, he went to his truck and wrote up the invoice. He came back in with his tools and started right away. He had a great personality and started up a conversation. I asked him a lot of questions, probably some were stupid ones, but he answered each one with no problems at all. He was very knowledgeable and showed experience. One or two of my questions led him to offer to check a couple of things, and confirmed I was ok. He finished the main problem quickly, he checked a few other things and told me that he saw no leaks from other possible places. Even though I paid their normal charge for coming out and the fix only took a few minutes, I was happy to do it. Calling other plumbers that may not have his experience may have taken longer to diagnose and fix.

We had removed the old toilet and been told there was no way the new one would fit into the allotted space. Mark came and although he was doubtful, offered to move the water line for an additional charge and wedge the new toilet in. He knew we really wanted that particular style toilet so worked very hard to make it happen without moving the line and was successful. He was very patient, hard-working, diligent, polite and tidy. He also checked our water pressure and accepted our $25.00 Angie's list coupon. We will definitely use Aaron Plumbing again and ask for Mark by name .

Once he arrived he looked at the leak, listened to my description of the problem, and measured the pressure (100, should be 80 at the most). He noticed that our PRV was the original one with the house and indicated that it was an appropriate time for a replacement. After locating the PRV, he wrote up an estimate that included all work to be done. The plumber was very courteous, he wore shoe covers to protect the floor from getting dirty, and he completed the work immediately. I would certainly contract future work with this plumber. He was very professional and genuinely interested in providing high quality service that meets my expectations. Thanks, Jim & Aaron Plumbing for a job well done!
