Joshua was prompt and prepared. He completed the work in one day with the help of a co-worker. Cleaned up after work was completed. Made sure all nails had been picked up. I was very pleased with all aspects of this business transaction. Joshua and I have already discussed our next job.

Mr. Crowe's work was of the highest qualify and at a reasonable fee. He returned to the site nine months later to follow-up on materials and workmanship. He deserves his fine reputation.

We had a list of about 15 things we needed done; some small but a couple were fairly sizable. Working with Josh was a real pleasure. Punctual, tireless, reasonably priced and completely competent; what more could you ask for. We are planning to finish our basement using Timberland in 2014. Once again, Angie's List recommendations paid off.

I purchased a house built in the early 60s that had been very well maintained, but not updated through the years. I had Josh open up the wall between the kitchen, dining room, and living room to give the house a more modern feel and better flow. We gutted the kitchen, removing all appliances, cabinets, flooring down to the sub-floor. Josh laid a new floor and new tile and worked with the cabinet and countertop crews to create a stunning new kitchen that I absolutely love!! We also gutted the master bathroom (turquoise blue tile!!) and broke through a wall into a small study area to create a spacious new master bath. He framed in a new master closet, a 6' soaker tub and separate shower, closed off the previous door to the study into a hallway and laid all the tile. He made all required sheetrock repairs, completed the finish casing and trim, as well as repainted the interior for a beautiful finished bathroom. The hardwood floors in the house were original and in good condition with the exception of being stained a different color in every room!! The floors were sanded down to unfinished wood, all the dust and debris was removed and two coats of stain plus a protective coating were applied consistently throughout the whole home -- the end result is stunning. All of the old hollow-core doors were removed, new doors and hardware were installed and fitted perfectly. The front porch railing was a rusted, pitted iron scroll that was removed and new railings and columns were installed. The entire project took six weeks and many return visits. At each step of the way, Josh and his crew were professional, courteous, neat and punctual. Josh suggested cost savings to me and adjusted his estimate several times as we changed the scope of the work. Josh was patient and worked with me on adjustments during the process. After I moved into the home, I asked Josh to return to install a subway tile back splash in the kitchen, to epoxy the garage floor, and to make adjustments to the laundry room. I am completely satisfied with Josh's work, very pleased with the end results. I felt Josh's fees were well-explained and very fair for the work performed. I would highly recommend Josh for any work around your home!

Josh and his crew were very professional, and got the job done and promised within the time frame, and was able to work with me on my budget for the repairs. Highly recommended! He was also very easy to communicate with via email and text which was a plus ++

The service was okay. After the work was finished I called him to remove the footing from the patio before I was having guests over. He failed to show up and I had to reach out to him in order to finally have him remove it. I also inquired about an estimate on my kitchen which I never received.

Josh came to our rescue and replaced all the vinyl siding on the back of the house as well as the J channel around the windows (due to incompetence from a previous contractor). Josh was very caring and concerned from the first phone call tocompleting the job. We are going to use Josh whenever we can because of his great work ethic, knowledge, and communication skills. Josh and his crew are truly a breath of fresh air.

Josh was the fourth person/business I tried to hire for this job. I was having a hard time finding someone who could fit me into their schedule. He was available, his quote was the most detailed, and it was right in the middle as far as pricing. The others I consulted gave a vague indication of what was involved and how much. I thought his quote was fair. Josh showed up earlier than we planned, but this was fine by me. He and his co-worker got right to work, and were finished within an hour and a half. They left no mess, and he even checked the inside to be sure there was no evidence of the repair. They did a very professional looking job. I am very happy. He graciously took a look at a roof problem that I had, which we had not previously discussed. He indicated that even though his listing here on Angie's list states he does not do roof repair, they can take on this type of work. For a very modest additional fee, not included above, they examined the roof for protruding nails, hammered down and tarred them. I appreciated his willingness to discuss the issue, and offer his services if this did not resolve the problem. I would definitely recommend him.

Josh is a very personable and friendly guy. He has a wide variety of skills. He was punctual. He did have to come back several days to complete all of the work. Once he was able to get us worked in, he stayed with the job to complete in a timely manner. He was willing to offer suggestions to save money and if he didn't think he could help, he would tell you. He was honest and I appreciate that in him.

Josh was very responsive and was able to fit the work in that day. He had to come back a few times over the next 2 days to finish up. We were very pleased with the work he did and his responsiveness.

Josh came within days of my call. He was friendly as well as very professional. When replacing my ceiling fan, he was able to use a light fixture in the old fan which saved me money. He was not able to find the source of my electrical problem, but he gave me a name of someone who could. Josh, as well as his associates who helped him, made sure the I was pleased with their service!

It was an excellent experience. The fellow that came out was very personable and honorable. There were some people that I called that I just did not like and I did not get back to them.

Josh is a super nice guy and very easy to deal with. He was very helpful, answered questions and offered suggestions on the repairs. He's knowledgeable regarding his profession and takes his reputation seriously. The work required three visits (due to mold treatment and me making up my mind on which door I wanted), and each time he and his team were punctual, professional and they did an efficient, thorough job. He took the time to do everything right and went the extra mile to do a few things that went beyond what was expected. I'd definitely call him again.

This was a two man team that were on time and worked well together. They set up quickly and efficiently and got right to work. All in all it was a very good experience.

Joshua Crowe was very responsive, prompt, and professional. He worked within my schedule to have the priority work completed quickly and followed up to complete the remaining work in a timely manner. All work was completed efficiently and is of excellent quality. He cleaned up all work areas. I am very pleased with the results and will call him again when the need arises.

Got estimate from owner for work at a remodeling of a preschool, for the fencing and furniture building. He was reasonable, and had examples to show us. Gave us options for the fence and spent a lot of time talking with us about the job. Did great work on about 300 feet of wooden fencing including a car gate and a garden gate; also removed old cemented-in chain link from about 75 feet and replaced that. Furniture was next on the list, and he built about 12 6-foot shelfing units for the preschool, according to our specs. Nice job on those, and we are ordering more right now. At my own home, he installed an expensive storm door, and did a good job on that as well. That day, I asked him to look at the frame of a large window in my dining/kitchen area, which was beginning to rot or something with evidence of water staining on the wall beneath it. He did look, and after examination, with us watching, he found and then gave us the bad news: a previous contractor had botched the job not even three years ago, and had not sealed the exterior, so the frame was so bad I could put my finger through it. We ended up losing the window, the frame, the sheetrock inside, the siding outside, the outside framing, and a 3x5 section of the teak flooring PLUS the water had seeped down into the joists? supports? and those were pure mush. Both my husband and I watched the entire discovery process, and my husband has previous construction experience, so the damage was not imaginary! Timberland had the entire job finished within a week. Luckily, I had some teak remaining from the previous contractor. Wasn't cheap, but wasn't out of line, either. I now have Timberland preparing estimates for some considerable work at our home, plus the furniture for the preschool.
