 + 0 moreThe job went better than expected, better than promised. Where I thought I needed to paint everything, I now see that a major paint job isn't necessary. The gutters, fascia, eaves, and window frames are clean and free of stains, dark patches, and dirt. Today is bright and sunny, and in the morning sunlight the house almost shines. Although Elias warned me that some stains on the gutters might have been etched in permanently, I could see no evidence of that effect even in places where he pointed it out to me. The only place the some stain did not come out was in a shady corner where I'd had problems with a clogged downspout, and even it looked almost perfectly clean. Elias was careful with my plants and rose bed, he cleaned up completely. Bottom Line: Gables Pressure Cleaning delivered more than it promised at a very good price. Considering the heights Elias had to climb to reach many parts of my gutters and fascia, I'd say his price was very reasonable, and the added benefit of hand-washing the worst areas to ensure a thorough cleaning only added value to the service. I highly recommend this company based on the services promised, the services delivered, the value for the money spent, and the reliability and professionalism of the owner.
Description of Work: The gutters and window frames on my two-story house were covered with mildew (I think it was mildew, and/or mold) and dirt. In many places the light beige color of the gutters was nearly completely obscured by the black mildew/mold/dirt. Window frames were also visibly darkened. My house is built on a slope, and so some of the eaves and gutters that needed to be cleaned were 20 to 24 feet up. Elias promptly returned my call and arranged a time to visit and give me an estimate. He was punctual (as he was throughout the process), friendly, courteous, and professional. After surveying the work surfaces that needed cleaning, he gave me an estimate based on hand-washing the gutters in addition to pressure cleaning. He promised that on the worst, blackest, dirtiest sections he would spray on the cleaner, let it soak for a time, then climb the ladder and hand-wash the surfaces. He told me that in some cases, although most of the mildew/mold/dirt would be removed, some stains might remain embedded in the gutter's finish (this because the gutters had not been cleaned in probably 6 to 10 years). He arrived on time, immediately began work, and did exactly what he said he would. He used a sponge to hand-wash the gutters after spraying on the cleaner. When he was finished, he asked me a couple of times to check the work and to let him know if I saw any areas that were not cleaned to my satisfaction. He also insisted that if I later found problems with any of the work he did, I should call him immediately so he could come correct them.

 + 0 moreElias did a fantastic job. Called on a Friday, he returned my call promptly, and did the work Saturday morning/afternoon. We negotiated a price for both the gutter cleaning and the vinyl washing. After checking all of the gutters, only two downspouts were clogged, so Elias cleaned them and then dropped the cost down by $100 since he only had to spend a few minutes on the gutters...he earned a repeat customer right there. I've had no problems with my gutters since. He then sprayed the siding and went ahead and did a quick spray on my algae-covered deck (wasn't actual deck cleaning since I didn't ask/pay for it, but really made it look much better). After he was finished, the siding looked brand new and has stayed cleaned since. I've been really pleased with his work. The whole job took ~2 hours.
Description of Work: Needed gutters cleaned (I can't reach them myself) and vinyl siding washed (dirty and algae-covered).

 + 1 moreHit up Angie's List for someone who could both pressure wash my home/steps/driveway, as well as reapint/reseal exterior doors/steps. Elias had rave reviews on this site, so I gave him a call. I explained the work I was interested in having done to him, and he gave me the $500 estimate right over the phone. He came out the next day and did all the pressure washing, which turned out great. When he was done, everything that was washed looked bran new. I was amazed at the life a good pressure washing brought back to the wooden steps and driveway. He then came back the next day (on a Saturday mind you), and did the rest of the work. He put multiple coats of paint on my doors, and multiple coats of sealer on my steps. He definitely went above and beyond to insure a good quality job was completed. He is even making a third trip back to my home to put another coating of paint on my front doors ( I live about 30 miles away, so that's three trips for him on this job). Words can't really explain how much of a bargain this service was, based on the quality of work as well as the price. Top notch job. Very happy customer. :-)

I was at work. Eli came to the house did the work and noticed that my gutters needed cleaning so after that day he came back and cleaned the gutter for a minimal charge. The work was thorough, clean, no hassle and a very nice job. It was easy!

 + -1 moreOverall the pressure washing was excellant. My house is probably cleaner now then when I first moved into place in 1993. The fence looks very good and he performed the best cleaning he could for the age of the fence. The driveway was cleaned and sealed with clear coat sealant. We discussed using a brown sealant initially, but clear coat was used. He saw that I was not completely happy with the clear coat and he promised me in writing that he would clean and seal the driveway with brown sealant for free next year.
Description of Work: Pressure washed 2 story vinyl house, large corragated driveway and backyard fence. Also applied clear coat sealant to driveway.

He quoted the job fairly and, when he got to my house and saw that the back of my roof did not need to be washed, he was honest enough to tell me so and discounted the price accordingly. He did a fantastic job cleaning my entire house from top to bottom. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Nashville area.

 + -1 moreAfter 5 months (March 2011) we already noticed mildew starting on our front porch. We called and he said he would come out and take a look at it. He never came. We called again and he said he was out of town and would call when he was back in town. Never happened. Called again last month and he has moved and could not send someone out to see the problem which by now is all over our front porch. He then hung up on me when I told him he gave me a 1 year waranty and I expect him to send someone out to fix it.
Description of Work: Sealed chicago brick all around our property with H&C paver sealer to eliminate the need to pressure wash the mildew every 4 months. Sealed cracks in between all chicago brick with a mixture of sand and cement. The purpose of the application was to make the chicago brick uniform and hard around the brick and the sealer was supposed to stop the growth of mildrew thus the need to pressure wash every 4-6 months.

He responded quickly to my call, came out to look at the fence and concrete areas to be pressure washed and got a bid back to me fast. He and a helper did all the work themselves. It took about 3 days total to do the work. (uncontrollable weather issues). I was very pleased w/the outcome and would definitely use Gables again and recommend him to neighbors and friends. Elias is a long time small business owner who is very conscientious of customer service and working hard to deliver good quality work. Very refreshing! Good work at a good price.
Description of Work: Pressure washed 17x17 concrete patio, plus front concrete walkway & porch. Pressure washed 220 ft wood privacy fence followed by spraying/rolling/brushing stain onto both sides of fence. Put a fresh coat of paint on outside of 2 exterior doors and garage door.  + -1 moreI emailed this company requesting an estimate for pressure washing the vinyl siding on my home. Company responded immediately to my email and a visit was scheduled. Mr. Gables arrived promptly, we agreed on a price and he did the work immediately. I must admit that prior to having this work done, my expectations for pressure washing were not high. My vinyl was indeed dull and dusty and I wasn't sure that anything short of painting would give me the new look I wanted..However, I was extremely pleased with his work and his efforts. He was professional, friendly, came with all necessary equipment and did a wonderful job. My house looks great! I would certainly use this company again.

 + 1 moreElias came by the day we called him. We had an estimate emailed to us that same evening and work began on the following Monday. Due to weather, it took 3 days to complete the project. They were on time and very professional. They were very clean and tidy in their process. As Elias found issues, he would bring them to our attention and fixed them at no extra cost. The results were remarkable and very professional. Elias followed up with me at the end of each day showing me what he was able to complete and explain what he would be doing the following day. Elias was very thorough and I could not be more thrilled with results. I will definitely use his services again and would recommend him to anyone needing these services.

Some highlights: - immediate (<5 min) response to my initial message requesting an estimate - home visit for free estimate within 2 hours of our first conversation - prompt, written estimate provided by email - Eli voluntarily tracked down another specialist company for a related job (dealing with carport construction) that he thought they could do better than he could - prompt scheduling for the service, and willingness to target job to our price range - arrived as scheduled - highly professional job execution and total completion of the work to a very high standard, leaving the job site in great condition. Please note that (at least at the time of this writing) Angie's List has mistakenly listed Gables as a Miami company. This is a company serving the greater Nashville area (and Nashville's the better for it!).
Description of Work: I had the top of our large aluminum carport pressure washed to remove 3+ years of caked on dirt, leaves, and tree sap. The job had to be done largely from the roof of our house because the carport cannot hold human weight, complicating the job and making it more difficult to execute. The job took 3+ hours.

They immediately recognized me as a customer after a year and were very polite. They really tried to work with me if I was short of money and I was very pleased with them. They would have probably charged me almost double, but they did a good job. I always look for companies that have good references and I like to pick the best ones that I can afford. I absolutely have no complaints about them. I will definitely use them again and I also used them last year. They also gave me a discount for being on the list as well as a discount for being disabled, so I got a wonderful price. I would tell others that their service was excellent and the pricing was very good. They were knowledgeable about the plants and the problems and they were just excellent all around.

 + -1 moreI contacted Gables Pressure Cleaning and Mr. Elias was not at the office at the time but returned my call within a few minutes. He told me he had a job in the area the next day and could stop by to give me an estimate or perhaps even do the job if he had the extra time. He came in at the time agreed and I was pleasurably impresssed by his courtesy and manners. He did quote me $140.00, where other companies had quoted $150-$165, and based on his recommendations on Angie's List I gave the ok. The job was great. My patio is now all white again and I'm extremely happy with his services. Don't hesitate to use him for any pressure cleaning job :)
Description of Work: Mr. Kessup pressure washed my patio, which was in real bad shape. The cement was all black and with little chemicals he was able to leave it all white again, without damaging my beautiful garden or even getting any dirty water in the pool. I was really impressed with his performance and do not hesitate to recommend him.

He gave me a quote as soon as he came out. It was unbelievable; he was extremely prompt. His price was so reasonable that I couldn?t believe it. He quoted $400 for the job, while I?ve had others quoting $1500 for the same job. He hasn?t done the work yet, so I can?t comment on his quality. He is coming back shortly and he is going to pressure clean my entire house, the roof and the sides.
