I had a partial deck collapse and had 4 companies come out to give quotes. One company even told me it was too dangerous for them, and recommended I call a disaster relief company. Frank took the time to explain all that was necessary to do the job safely, and even went to bat for me with my insurance company. He always got back to me quickly whenever I had any questions. The crew was great, and the workmanship is spot-on. I couldn't be happier with my new deck, and with Decks & More. I would not hesitate to use them again, and would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Frank called me back approximately 36 hours after my request which is totally reasonable, but the quote for the project absolutely was not. Will not be calling him back for any future projects.

I can't say enough about how well the process went! The crew arrived promptly every day, and was very conscientious of everything they did, including the cleanup. Their work was outstanding and I now have several envious neighbors!

Research: Undertaking a project of this magnitude required a lot of research on my part. I interview 4 companies/builders to fully understand the process, options, expectations associated with the project. Frank was by far the most attentive and informative during my research. Not only did he ensure I understood all the nuances of the project, he was the only one who didn't, at some point, suggest we cut corners with the HOA, Inspection or Permitting. He insisted the project be done correctly and professionally. I appreciated that. So while he was about 20% more expensive than the other vendors I contacted, I was confident I would get a high quality and professional product. He didn't let me down. The Project: Frank did an excellent job of communicating and setting all the proper expectations during this project. Too many times I've heard horror stories about contractors over promising and under delivering. If anything Frank and his team over delivered on everything. The quality of their work is amazing and the reliability and punctuality of this team was impressive. His team would even show up on off days if they got behind a little bit to ensure the project completed on time; which it did. Conclusion: I intent to use Frank for other projects in the future. In my opinion, having a good, reliable and competent contractor is like having a good lawyer and mechanic.... once you find one, keep them around. I highly recommend Frank.

5-Year Warranty True. Decks And More built our deck in July of 2007 and we loved it. After about 4 years and 9 months we noticed some loose deck boards and creaking. Decks offers a True 5 Year warranty. I called Frank and he came the next day to look at the deck and agreed with me it need to be fixed. So they came out the next Saturday and removed about 10 deck boards and refastened some others and tightened up the handrails. ****All Free of charge!!!**** Decks and More is a top notch company and they stand by their Warranty. A 5 year warranty is absolutely unheard of in the Deck Industry. Frank is a young guy but with old fashioned values, he listens, he learns, and he takes care of the people he serves. - David S.

I am very satisfied with my deck built by Decks & More because the owner, Frank Pologruto, delivered everything he promised: a deck of the highest quality built to my satisfaction in a no-hassle experience. I made changes in the design of my deck near the end, which created the opportunity for problems. That never happened, however, because the focused stayed on making sure I got what I wanted at a fair price. I recommend Decks & More to anyone whose objective is not to spend the least amount possible, but rather to get the most from what you spend.

We met with several contractors to build our porch, I had a challenge with our existing 2nd story windows, they were in the way ofthe porch. Everybody said we needed to remove the radius windows, however I wanted to keep my windows. Frank from Decks and More was the only contractor that was confident and had the ability and knowledge to keep the radius windows intact. Next, Frank and his team built a stunning screened in porch with a custom deck. They added so many details to my porch, the low voltage lighting, custom slate floor, barreled roof with tongue and groove ceiling. They all tremendously enhanced the finished product. We hired Frank Pologruto from Decks and More to build what we thought was a simple porch and deck remodel. However, after they were finished, we could not believe how breathtaking it was, Decks and More far exceeded our expectations in creating a retreat for us. Frank took the time to offer us several options that he believed would enhance our porch. Frank's team designed, created, and built an amazing porch with large columns, recessed lights and a beautiful bead board ceiling. We feel we got more than we paid for. These guys are true professionals and craftsman, we look forward to working with them again on our next project.

Frank and his crew leader Mario did an exelent job. After searching for prices and contractors, Decks and More, while not the cheapest, were responsive, professional and the quiality of their work has exceeded my expectations. i would not hesitate to use them again or recomend them to anyone else.

Frank who owns the company is very professional and easy to work with. I met with him and 2 other vendors to review my plans and discuss timing and budget. I went with Frank because of his experience, competitive pricing and good consumer reviews. The project turned out beautifully but it took longer than anticipated because it ended up being built by just one contractor versus a team. I wasn't in a hurry to finish it so it wasn't a problem for me. But it might be something to note if you have a firm deadline. The quality and craftsmanship was great and Frank made all the revisions that came up throughout the course of the project. I would use Decks and More again for future projects.

price was not the cheapest, but was within reason. Frank came on time and was well prepared to let us know what made him different from other deck providers. Better quality workmanship and a 5 year guarantee were promised. They started within 1 day of the most likley date Frank had given us and were finished in the 4 day time timeframe promised. The crew showed up on time each day and worked a full day each day. They were respectfull of our home as they worked. With most contractors I have had to show them little things I didn't like and ask them to fix the issues. On this job, I did see things that concerned me but before I could bring them up, they were already fixed. An example is an occassion where I needed to leave for the afternoon and I went to show my wife some uneven boards so she could point them out to the crew; they had already seen the problem and fixed it before I could tell them. This happened on a number of issues: fixed before I could even comment. They were supposed to put in 3 new support posts, but the crew did not esthetically like the idea of putting in new ones between the old ones so they replaced 6 of them at no additional charge. I looked hard before they left but I could not find a thing that I did not like. I thought I had a pretty decent, but old deck before. But, now I know what a good deck should look like. I might have been able to pay a bit less but I am absolutely convinced I would have gotten what I paid for. As it is, my new deck is very well built with attention to detail and the kind of workmanship standard you do when it is at your own house. They put in the decorative flourishes that make it stand out. If you want a new deck or repair on your old one, you really need to call Frank.

excellent, we love our porch, Frank understood our vision & built it even better!. His workers were prompt, polite, cleaned up daily, beautiful work, wonderful service. He was very responsive and very professional. I got four estimates and theirs was twice as much as the other three. They were unbelievably expensive. I decided not to go with them.

We attempted to call this company to obtain an estimate. We left two messages and never received a return phone call.

We had several different companies bid on our planned deck project to replace our spec. 10 x 10 deck with a 16 x 16 screened porch and 12 x 20 deck with stairs to the ground. We chose Decks and More based on the overall quality and look that we sought. Decks and More weren t the least expensive bid we received, but as we have learned through life, quality is worth paying for. I will say up front that we are ecstatic that we chose Frank and that we certainly have gotten our money s worth. It began with Frank providing his expertise and guiding us through the many options available. He was instrumental in helping shape what would become our project. His portfolio of work was a great help in showing us the different designs he has done and architectural features available. We ended up with a design very different from what we would have come to on our own, with the limited exposure we have in this space. Construction began on time and his crew was amazingly accommodating and professional. The attention to detail was evident throughout and it was apparent that these guys are craftsmen, as opposed to construction workers. As the project progressed, we were able to make design tweaks along the way without resistance and within reasonable price changes to the quote. On day 2, they realized the deck would land in a window area. Frank asked permission to extend the deck an additional 2 feet (to 12 x 22 ), without charge, to accommodate. As with anything that seems too good to be true, this project was no exception. When the painter/stain contractor came out to apply the stain to our covered porch, he was initially reluctant to use the stain we chose, wanting to instead use the brand he prefers. Unfortunately, his brand had nothing even close to the color we wanted. He agreed to use our stain, and by the end of day one, had all but ruined the amazing job Frank s construction crew had built. We had brush marks, lap marks, runs and drips all over the place. The exposed wood beams in the ceiling were completely botched. We were sick. This is when you really need a good contractor and where Frank really earned our respect and money. He brought in another of his subs to assess the damage. The only acceptable option was to sand a good part of it back to bare wood and have the stain job redone properly. The sanding was done over a 2 day period, including ripping and replacing some fascia boarding as well. Another 2 days later, we had an amazing stain job that lived up to rest of the quality of the porch. All of this was done on Frank s dime and we were left with the porch that we had visualized before the first staining effort. Our ultimate satisfaction can be expressed in my answer to Frank when he asked me if we were glad that we had chosen his company. Absolutely! I would recommend Decks and More without hesitation and will be a willing referral to anyone considering D&M who wishes to contact me (ask Frank for my number).

Frank was responsive to our inquiries and changes. He and Mike, the project manager, were open to changes in design and offered suggestions. Stone work was amazing! The carpentry was second to none. Mike chose grade 1, first class, lumber for the project. There are no knot holes anywhere! Frank has a eye for detail and expects his employees to perform to his expectations. When the French doors were installed, he had the painter redo the entire wall, which included the Family Room and Kitchen walls, not just the area around the door.

After living in our home for 39 years, we decided to add a sun room and deck. Frank Pologruto of Decks & More met several times with us.
