"Sales was excellent, but that’s where it ended. Was told someone would come out for accurate measurements to send to manufacturer. No one ever called. Soon i was charged for the doors to be made but never had official measurements taken and it was like pulling teeth for someone to provide me proof that measurements were taken when no one was home. I was told it happened on 10/31 but I was out of state. So must have broken into my property to do it then? Skip ahead two months, one door shows up to be installed but can’t as it doesn’t fit. Shocking. Three months later all doors arrive for install. First time I touch it the screen falls off my patio door. On the other door the hardware isn’t what I ordered to begin with and there is a dent in the steel paneling. So one of three doors is working out for me. In total, it’s been six months since i signed on the contract and i haven’t so much as received a “hey, we’re sorry this has been awful and we really appreciate your $15,000. How can we make it right?” Instead I have to inquire DAILY with someone from installation scheduling (since this is the only contact I have aside from sales) about when and how management is going to fix it. I went with Champion as for the warranty and quality of work. Never again"

"Within less than 6months of installing our roof, we had a leak that Northpoint had to come back to fix. Then in less than a year and half, the new gutters they installed were overflowing which led to damage to our property that will require repairs of up to 10K. Our entire dining room flooring which had just been newly remodeled, had to be taken off, and the drywall on the adjacent walls ripped off for repairs. We have never had such a terrible experience. First they claimed it was the leafguard which they had recommended placing. So they removed the leaf guard but later found that the downspout from the gutters were also cloggedd due to sediments from the residues of the roof. They agreed to pay for the repairs but once the repairs had began they pulled out claiming that they are not responsible. I have recording and texts to show they were willing to pay and are now trying to find a way out."

It was a pretty vague list of things and rough prices attached (ex. just “floors - $X” - not “hardwood in middle bedroom,” “tile in the kitchen,” and so on) and a shoddy drawing of a layout with hardly any detail and certainly not drawn to scale. Maybe my expectations were off there. But I want a little more than that before I go take out a loan and hire you to do a $100K job, amirite? But whatever, whatever - put that aside. It comes down to when I’m going to have to make a decision, need to get him approved by my bank... POOF. GONE. Radio silence. Won’t answer calls. Won’t answer texts. Won’t answer emails. I said he could just let me know if he didn’t want to take this on, etc. Just nothing. Strange way to run a business. Especially when the job you want people to hire you for is usually time sensitive and requires excellent communication.
