Rooter Man Plumbers

Terrible!! Even though the people were nice,I will not call them again. I was having problems with my washer drain pipe backing up and overflowing when my washer would start pumping the water out. Called Rooter-Man Plumbers to have someone come to take a look at it and they looked, tried to use an auger with no outcome. My piping had apparently broken their auger wire and so they charged me for the wire even when the problem was not fixed. Will not be calling them again. I don't understand where they get the reviews on their website from because I cannot find them anywhere. Now they are trying to tell me that The fee they charged me for was just the simple standard fee to clean a washer drain pipe. Almost $200 for something that is not even fixed? How can a company avoid telling people, when they repeatedly ask, how much having someone come to their house is going to be and then expect them to be ok when they are sprung with a ridiculous monetary amount? Will never call these plumbers again when I could easily have someone else, who I trust, to come and do the exact same things they did.

Easily scheduled. Came on time. Did excellent work.

I called on 12/11 and they set up an appointment for the next day at 1:30pm. Trent showed up right on time and I then showed him the approximate location of the leak. He looked at where it was (right next to the water meter) and hen wrote up a quote. I agreed to the work and about an hour later he had it fixed and also gave me some tips to prevent it from happening again.

Can not say enough about how consistent Scott and his team are about being professional, responsive, and reasonable when it comes to plumbing issues. I have used rooter man before and I leaned on him again in this time of emergency and he came through. I contacted Scott late Thursday night (about 9:30) about my water heater that had just burst and he assured me that though he couldnt come out that night that he would contact me first thing Friday morning to schedule the replacement. Sure enough he contacted at 6:30 am and to my pleasant surprise had shifted some work loads for crews so that he could get my issue taken care of at 8 am. The installer showed up, was courteous, professional and efficient. Got my water heater swapped out and I was back in business by 10:30. The installer even made sure to reconfigure the gas line per the new plumbing codes. Scott and his crew turned a bad problem into a stress free fix and I could not be more thankful or impressed and being that I am an engineer, I am not easily impressed. I would definitely recommend Rooter Man for any of your plumbing needs.

The experience was very good. They were going to be late, so they called and let me know that they were going to be late. They were courteous. I would use them again. They were very professional.

I had a toilet that had stopped working so I replaced some parts in order to fix it. After I replaced part, a slow and steady leak continued in the toilet. I checked on Angie's list and found the deal from Rooter Man. The plumber, Ron, was early for the appointment. The email communication went well and he was very professional in his appearance and had a pleasant demeanor. He quickly saw what the problem was and had a recommendation right away. He replaced the handle and flapper in my toilet and provided a plumbing inspection that was at no additional cost to me. He also recommended to replace the hoses on the washing machine that I had never thought to do. I would definitely use this service again and recommend Ron to anyone that needs toilet repair.

The Rooter Man company responded promptly to our call and came out and fixed the problem the next day. Jason was prompt, courteous, and also explained what he was doing and answered our questions. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to someone else.

Tommy Merchant was on time and professional. He asked questions and provided service in a timely manner.

Tommy the plumber was on time and very cordial, professional,and courteous. He cleared out our clogged sewer line and made sure all the toilets worked before he left.

We had a main drain that was backing up into our home and were unable to run any water at all. We suspected that the tree roots were again the problem. After calling several roto-rooter/plumbing companies that are nearby, but could not schedule us until the next day, I called Rooter Man of Savannah and was told to expect them between 10 - 12N.. They were here at 10:10 am and promptly went to work roto-rootering the drain right out to the street, clearing up all our problems. He was very courteous and informative. Hopefully we won't need this done again, but if so, I would call Rooter Man again. I highly recommend this company.

I feel I was overcharged. I paid 90 dollars up front then paid 210 dollars on top of that. It seems to me that if I just paid the 210 dollars that would have be fair. Otherwise the work was complete and solved the problem.

One night, the float valve in our upstairs toilet -- which is pre-1970 and doesn't have a water shutoff valve -- burst, sending a jet of water to the ceiling and flooding our bathroom. We couldn't shut the water off from inside, and when we tried to shut off the main water supply from the street, we found that the shutoff valve was too rusty to move. So we called Rooter Man for an emergency service, and a technician arrived quickly, shut off the water from the street using some sort of massive winch device, then completely repaired the toilet -- including installing a brand new float valve. Since this was late-night, emergency service, I expected a huge bill. But then the tech let me know that the total was $62.50! Couldn't have been happier with the service or the cost.

We had a major issue with sewage coming up into the house. Rooter Man was the only company we called that agreed to come out on short notice. He arrived, called me with his observation and the cost to repair then called me back to let me know it was working properly. Very professional and would definitely call again.

They did a great job. Cleaned up after themselves. use shoe covers and entrance carpet from keeping dirt out. Great workers!

Technician was very nice and very easy to work with. All the work was done to my satisfaction. He installed a new faucet in the kitchen. I asked him to check all the toilets to make sure they were not running (water bills have been high). He located two toilets that were running, and installed new parts and/or made adjustments. I was very happy with the work, but I consider the price to be very high! He was there for no more than 3 hours, used parts that cost no more than $50 (guessing), and the bill was over $500. That seems VERY high, but the work was done well.

Just called the day before and they scheduled me for this morning. Gary called to let me know he was on the way and arrived within the scheduled appointment time. He found a simple solution for the bathtub drain and installed the kitchen faucet. He was here only a half-hour. Very professional and competent. We will use him again!

I called to schedule septic tank pumping. I needed an early appointment so opted to wait 4 days to be the first appointment of the day. Rooter man called me back to ask if another company could come since their truck was broken. I was then told they couldn't come until 9:00 instead of 8:00 when the actually came at 10:30. Claimed they didn't have my phone number but I called twice and left it on their answering machine. This is the second time using Rooter man & had problems previously with them not coming on the correct day.

They were in and out within 30 minutes. Rooter man brought a new garbage disposer and replaced the old one. No issues with it.

Overall it wasn't a bad experience even though they had to come back out. I was charged $200 to install a faucet and fix a broken shut off valve and they came that day. I called 4 other companies and was told it would be anywhere from 2 days to a week before someone could come out. The cheapest estimate I received was $250.

This is the second time we've used them. They are so nice. They do a great job, they clean up after themselves. They show up in great clean and tidy uniforms. I am totally and completely happy with them.

Rooter Man of Savannah are wonderful. They have good customer service. They were very professional, dressed professional, cleaned up after themselves, and are very knowledgeable of their trade.

They were a bunch of them who worked. I called many people and nobody called back. They were quick in calling back and were really good. They were not that expensive. They tried to do the work in the most economical way. The quality of their work was really good. They were here in no time. In fact they were here in minutes. They were professional. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Rooter-Man was very good. He came in, removed the toilet, retrieved the blocking item successfully and was out of the house in thirty minutes. He came within forty five minutes of us calling. He quoted the price before coming. So basically Rooter-Man was fine with me.
