At the recommendation of a friend, I called Mike Kenny roofing to get a repair estimate for my roof. Mr. Kenny. Mr. Kenny arrived when he said he would, looked at the roof, and then said he would email me an estimate. I never received the email or a follow-up call. Another contractor came out and said before he did anything I should contact my insurance company to see if they would cover wind damage. I did, and my insurance said they would cover the cost of a new roof. I'm in the process of setting up a time for the second contractor to repair our roof. I'm not sure if Mike Kenny lost my email or got busy doing other projects, but after the glowing recommendation from my friend, I expected more from him.

Beautifully--the workmen were here within an hour; sealed the hole immediately; held to the quoted price; I paid them, and they were gone within another hour. I am most impressed with their response and their expertise. The roof is two stories up and steeply inclined. They had the equipment on the truck and got right to work once we had agreed that they should do the job.

Called Mike Kenny roofing to get an estimate for the repair of a leak in the roof around the chimney. Job was done within 5 days (including Memorial Day weekend) of the estimate and took about 1 1/2 hours. I checked for signs of the leak during recent rains and the problem appears to be fixed. Truly outstanding experience. Mike came to give estimate, the price was great, he came a couple of hours later with two men to do the job. He was finished and cleaned up in a flash. It could not have been any better!

I had a leak. I called them and they responded the same day and made the repairs. I was pleased with their work.

Went well. Will probably use them when we need to replace the roof. They were prompt with answering phone call and in giving report. The work we requested is explained above.

It looked like repairs had been attempted in the past before I bought the house. Based upon the excellent reviews on Angies List I called Mike and left a message. He called back very promptly and came by the same day to review the roof. Later the same day he e mailed me a estimate which I approved immediately. Mike and his crew arrived the next day and performed the work. I am very satisfied by Mike's prompt action, his price and the work performed. Additionally, for such a messy business Mike was very tidy. I know some others have mentioned his pricing is a bit high, but there's an old saying - "you get what you pay for" and with Mike I got a quick response, outstanding service and a job well done. My phone call to Mr. Kenny was returned immediately and although mine was a small job, a crew of three arrived exactly on time, which happened to be late in the afternoon the very same day. The men were professional, courteous and wasted no time cleaning the gutters as well as trimming a few branches from a tree that were too close to the roof. Within a short time, my gutters and downspouts were clean and the men were on their way. I especially appreciated their neatness and removal of the debris from the property. My experience with Mr. Kenny was a positive one and I would certainly use him again.

After spending $200-$400 every year or two to "handymen" or retired roofers or contractors to get a leak over my bedroom "fixed", I called Mike Kenny Roofing and a couple of other professional roofing companies to get an estimate. They were the only respondent who actually climbed up on the roof and spent some time looking at the problem while the others either gave a cursory examination or looked at it from the ground, all while trying to convince me that I needed to replace the entire 8-year-old roof to take care of the problem. Mike Kenny roofing was also the only one to send me a written, detailed quote with a solid price and an explanation of all the work and materials they would use instead of just verbally quoting me or writing down a number on the back of a business card. He was also the most competitive price. They arrived on time, worked diligently to get the work done, and a supervisor came to inspect the job before leaving. It's been months now and I've been through heavy rains, light rains, all-night rains - and no leaks. I would definitely use Mike Kenny Roofing again.T

He came out and checked the roof. The next day he had his crew out. They worked all day long. They had to replace some rotten wood they did not plan on doing. They did not charge me anything extra for it either. They cleaned up very well. They did not leave nails anywhere or scraps.

We discovered a leak after several days of heavy rain. Based on the interior location of the leak, we thought it probably had to do with the flashing around the chimney. Of course, we couldn't be sure, nor could we determine if there was anything else that was wrong. Mike sent out a crew within a couple of hours of our call to him to survey the problem. They confirmed the flashing issue and noted that there was also rotted wood, since it appeared that the leak had been going on for a while. Mike called us later the same day to give us a quote, of $475, and we gave him the go ahead. We didn't get any comparison quotes because we based our call to him on stellar Angie's List reviews, so felt pretty confident. We happened to be out when the repair crew arrived, but they went ahead and started anyway. They completed the job within a couple of hours. They also said they made a couple additional minor repairs that they noted as they went along, and advised us that they saw evidence of termites, which we can now follow up on. Everything about the experience was great. Mike returned our initial call to him within an hour, and we were very happy when he said he could have someone look at the roof the very same day. We will definitely use them again in future if needed and we would highly recommend them to anyone, Excellent service, responsiveness, the guys were very nice....great job.

Unfortunately, we have a beautiful wooded lot which had 2 limbs broken off already and it put a little hole in the roof twice. We had a guy that we called both times. They came in, gave the price, and did exactly what they said they'd do. The second time that they came they said it's going to be a couple of days to get to it; so they put a temporary patch to keep it dry till they got back to us. I've even used them the third time. We have only been here 7 months, but it's already the second time we've had to use them. I like them because they were prompt. Even when they cut into the work on the day we needed them, they just came over and put a temporary patch on; so that they could come back and permanently fix it. I would not have expected that; I thought they will tell that they would see me in 3 days. I was totally satisfied and the quality was fine. I got them off of Angie's list.

He was very good and very prompt. He figured out what it was very fast and he got it done in a blink of an eye. Although it was expensive for what he did for the amount of time, I guess his experience was worth something and it did resolve the problem very quickly.

Everything was just fine. They worked fast and did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

I spent about $130 for their service. They were reasonably priced. The roofer came promptly and I was very pleased. I would use his services in the future too.

Daniel and a helper arrived late that afternoon. While Daniel was on the roof inspecting the problem, his helper was busy sweeping the debris from my roof. He hasn't even given me an estimate and is already cleaning my roof! Once he determined that it was very minor damage, Daniel gave me the quote and offered to do the repair right then, on the spot! I was very pleased with the entire experience! Daniel was very professional and pleasant. By the way the helper even swept my patio clean. Over and above expectations. I would highly recommend this company.

There was a roof leak. They were responsive and did a good job. They had pretty much standard prices.

I have used Mike Kenny Roofing several times for repair work in the past.When he helped me with all my other problems I did not hesitate when he recommended that it was time to replace my 21 year old roof.He gave me a couple of options as to which style and year shingles that are out there.Once we got all that taken care he assured me that he Daniel would be around anytime I had a question or needed anything answered.They kept a very clean(as possible) which made me happy.At the end of the day Daniel and his guys left my yard cleaner than when they got there to start.He also recommend that every 3 to 4 months I have him come and clean the roof due to the pine trees in mine and the neighbors yards around me for a very reasonable priced . Mike told me that the job would take about 3 days to do. All went as planned,I was totally satisfied with the way everything was handled in an orderly fashion and on time.I would recommend Mike Kenny Roofing to any one that needs a repair or re-roofing job.Well worth the time and money(which is tight enough these days).

they were there at 7:30 in the morning and my home was finished at 2:30 the next day. they cleaned the ground up like no one had even been throwing trash down there.

Mike and his crew were to replace the back flatter section of the roof which they did in a very professional manner.

The project started out great; they got there on time and finished very quickly, within a week. Problems came at the end. That?s when I realized he promised more than he put in writing. I was told that the edges of the roof that had rotten wood would be repaired and that my back porch roof would also be repaired. Neither of that was done at the end when he submitted his final bill to me. When I asked about the back porch they came back and installed roll roofing. I then pointed out that the drip molding was not pulled tight to the roof deck at several places and had gaps from 1" to 3" and I could see rotten wood up there. He agreed to fix it and then sent another bill for labor and materials. He walked away from a bad quality repair and then charged me for the finish details. I am left wondering if there are any more unrepaired problems that I can?t see from the ground.
