Mike Kenny Roofing Company is fully insured. We carry general liabiltiy and worker's compensation insurance. Certificates of insurance are available upon request. The leak was complicated -- two different leaks near to one another. They stuck with it after being called back numerous times and were eventually successful. My hat's off to them.

Kenney roofing installed 1 and one half to half inch installation with a modified bitumen with 12 year warranty. The whole plan was to create slope. Hopefully no more leaks. I do recommend Mike Kenney Roofing.

Thank you for the opportunity and the time for the review. It was a flat corrigated metal roof over a patio deck previously installed by others. We provided 1 1/2" insulation to 1/2" insulation on low side to provide some slope with a modified bitumen on top. Flat roofing projects are more expensive than sloped roofs. It was a pleasure to do business with you and anything else down the road just let us know. Thanks again.

We had water leaking into our home from the roof. The work crew came out and did the repair. We later noticed that water was still leaking in one part of the house and once we contacted them again, they came back out and repaired it. The job was completed to our satisfaction. We would hire them again.

Thank you for allowing us to provide service. Yes, sometimes water does travel to areas where we cannot visibly tell. However, we will hang in there until resolved. It is always a good practice not to do any interior repair until a substantial rain proves to have eliminated all the leakage. Any future repairs needed please let us know.

The contractor showed up when he said. The explanation he provided for the work made sense. The estimate provided was clear. The work was done in a professional and timely fashion. I don't know if the leak has been resolved -- no rain lately ----- but they offer a 90 warranty.

Excellent job. The workers were very respectful, and extremely efficient. They arrived on time, and I would have not known they were out there if not for the normal sounds of roofing. He was great. It took him a day. His crew they were excellent, they cleaned up magnificently. It was high. We went with top grade shingles and we have a 30 year warranty. This is it for me, I'm not doing this again. Yes I'd use them again, I'm recommending them to my daughter. That's about as good as you can get.

Because of the weather during the past two months, the work got started later than I expected but continued at a steady pace once it was started. Because of the size of the home it took several days to complete the job. The workers started early in the morning and worked later than I expected in the evenings. My contract was approved and signed by me on July 19, 2017. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone needing roofing work.
Description of Work: Mike Kenny Roofing Company did roofing work on my home and the garage apartment that is located next to my home. On both the main house and garage apartment, Asbestos Cement Shingles had to be removed. The company furnished, and workers installed a Certain Teed Landmark shingle roof on the main home and garage apartment. The roof on the main is very steep, but the workers handled the work well.

The back of my house is just real long. They replaced the entire back gutter and so with labor, material it was $1000. The price was average. On quality they did a good job. On responsiveness it took them a little bit to get them out here, but when they came out here they did a good job. I probably would use them again.

They were professional and fast. They the job that the Michael's roofing couldn't do, which they told me a carpenter is more suited the job. Mike Kenny did the without the need for two separate company to fix the small section of my roof from when a med size tree fell on it.

It went very well, the place was cleaner than when they arrived. They were here early and finished that day. They were here two days after we picked out the color of the shingles. No drama no problems just did the job and left.

Yes, we do apologize for not getting to many of calls that came in after Hurricane Mathew. There were some area that we are getting to even though the storm was in October, it is now February. We are getting closer to being able to actually set appointments and response time within 48 hrs. We apologize for any inconvenience that you occurred, but we never set an appointment with you that was missed. I am sure, other roofers are in same condition. Sometimes, one may catch one in the area, but please do research as it is buyer beware. I am glad that you were able to get your service request done.

Yea, after the hurricane, I actually had to get my phone forwarded to the office so I could "keep the wheel turning" in the field. So much devastation did occur. Upon inspection of the skylights, it was found some cracks and deteriation has occurred in the skylights. An estimate has been submitted for replacement. Sometimes skylights are not replaced at the time of roof replacement as they may of been in better condition at that time. Also, the higher end skylights, in this case, and the fact there are four of them is expensive.

Mr. Kenny returned my call in a short time and told me the approximate time that the men would arrive. Half an hour before the scheduled arrival time, he called to tell me they were just leaving another job and were on the way. I was very pleased with the good response and the quick repair. They looked at what needed to be done, rang the doorbell and told me what the cost would be. I agreed to that and they went right to work. I will call Mike Kenny roofing Company when I need to have the roof replaced and will also recommend the company to my friends.

I have found his approach to be very unprofessional. I feel that asking for him to go and inspect the work of his crew is not an unreasonable request. Originally I found Mike to be very reasonable and professional, but since finding that the work was substandard, his refusal to contact me and work to resolve the situation amicably I have been forced to change my opinion.
Description of Work: I hired Mike Kenny to fix a leak around two chimneys on my rental house in Savannah. My tenant noticed that the roof was still leaking and I asked another roofer to come out and take a look. He found that the work that Mr. Kenny says was done was not completed as agreed. We agreed that shingles needed to be removed and crickets and new flashing needed to be installed around two of the three chimneys. The other roofer found no flashing had been installed, they did not reshingle the crickets in front of the chimney, sealant had just been painted around new crickets. It was also found that the roof should have been completely replaced, the minor repairs should never have been suggested. I was given a quote to replace the roof, but it was recommended that the repairs would be enough. I asked Mr. Kenny to go back and inspect that work was done correctly. He insists that the work was done correctly, but refuses to go out and do a personal inspection. My tenant is in the process of taking photographic evidence proving that the work was not done correctly. I have put a dispute in with PayPal, over the $925 that was paid to Mr. Kenny. He has now threatened to put a lean on my house and is demanding another payment in the form of a cashiers check. I have proof of email correspondence and the PayPal confirmation of original payment.

The member initial contact was a phone call requesting an estimate based on an inspection report he received in the process of selling this property to the current tenant. According to he, this report was requesting a “cricket” be installed, as well as the chimney flashings be repaired. He also acknowledged that the current roof had been installed over an existing roof and was very unsightly. Also, he stated the he was told by others, the roof needs to be replaced. Regardless of this assessment, he was requesting us only to provide an estimate based in the requested items in an inspection report. It was his hopes and intentions that the repairs may qualify to pass any FHA inspection for a loan. He was initially told by me after inspecting the roof for the estimate requested, that I understood why other roofers have told him that it would be better to replace there roof. But he was insistent only to do repairs he requested according to a previous report. Upon inspection of the roof, it was noted by us of the conditions (see estimate of 2/25/16). It wasn’t that the shingles were old, it was that this was a terrible “layover” and that the “wavy look” would not be solved until all the old roofs were removed. He had already known this assessment prior to calling us. He was persistent in not going to the expense of putting another roof on and was willing to repair the items he requested in hopes that the roof would be approved by the FHA. He insisted that this “report” only addressed certain items to be done. As any contractor is encouraged to do, we put this assessment in writing of the proposed requested items. This work was approved by him, performed by Mike Kenny Roofing Company. After the completion of the repairs, the other requests of re-inspecting started. It became apparent that Mike Kenny Roofing Company was being used as a “scape goat” as time went by. After requesting the letters and re-inspection performed, he paid his bill. The member rescinded his payment without notification to Mike Kenny Roofing Company. He eventually resubmitted his payment again only after we notified him of our intent to pursue legal means to secure and collect his debt. Mike Kenny Roofing Company completed all work as proposed; therefore, no refund is granted. We will honor any commitment with the repairs (up to three months from the date of repairs) to repair any leaks in the work area. This excludes any leaks due to missing bricks, damages by people, trees, animals, or extreme acts of nature. Also as noted, Mike Kenny Roofing Company will not be responsible for any interior damages at any time. No leaks have been reported to Mike Kenny Roofing Company. It was also recommended by Mike Kenny Roofing Company to him and the tenant (perspective new owner) to reach a settlement in the bidding process to put a new roof on the house. The tenant was fully aware of the condition of the roof and why only the repairs were being made.
