Not good. Already had a bad with experience with a roofer that would not come out and fix a leaking spot in our roof. That he had put on.

The dead leaves and Spanish Moss collect in the valleys of my roof, hold water and cause the roof to leak. I called Mike Kenney Roofing to clean the roof off and also to clean out my gutters. The men arrived and asked how I wanted to dispose of the debris and then went to work. They cleaned out the roof valleys and bagged up all the debris from my gutters in no time. I feel the work they did was excellent and they were certainly friendly and professional. They also inspected my roof and told me it was in good shape. They worked very quickly and efficiently and were done in under 2 hours. I would not hesitate to hire them again and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of such services.

Quickly. Roofing started around 9:30am ; the job was completed before 3pm We could not have been more pleased

We called Thursday 8/28 to ask Mike to come look at the roof, give his opinion and an estimate. He said he would be here Friday, 8/29 between 10:30 & 11:00. He arrived in the scheduled time period, was very professional, easy to talk to. We were very pleased with the estimate and asked when the work could be done. The job was scheduled for Wed., 9/3, between 10:30-11:00. Mike and his helper arrived on time and completed the job as promised. We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend Mike Kenny Roofing Co. to our friends.

Our roof needed to be replaced soon but our sunroom was having leaks that needed to be addressed immediately. When we called Mike he said he would have someone out the next day to give an estimate. They showed up right on time and mailed the estimate in just a few days! The cost was fair and within the highest and lowest estimate. We had a few things that we wanted to have looked at after they completed the work. They arrived immediately and made the necessary corrections. In fact, we need parts for the gutter and they didn't have those items on hand and returned back the next day. Very pleases with the entire process,

Had some shingles blow of my roof from a storm, picked him from Angie's list, called him in the morning and it was repaired by the time I got home. Great service, I'm keeping his phone number for the future and will definitely pass it on

Had a roof leak directly over my side of the bed. Every time we'd get it fixed by a "roofer", the repair would last until the next heavy rain. On recommendation from a friend, we called Mike Kenny Roofing. His guys came out and actually climbed up on the roof to examine it (not just looked from the ground or the top of a ladder) and e-mailed me a detailed written proposal that spelled out everything he was going to do (not just a number written on the back of a business card like another roofer did). Their recommendation to me was to use a rubber membrane roofing at that location due to that portion of the roof being too flat for shingles. No other roofer had mentioned that to me during the previous repairs. During the repair, one of his guys spotted a missing shingle I didn't know about elsewhere on the roof and repaired it for no additional cost. These guys are A+

Mike had done some repair work previously and noted that the skylights were the source of leaks and on a couple, the air seal between the glass had opened. So I contracted him to replace the with new, name brand models that were more energy efficient. The first 4 were installed quickly, but the last one took a few weeks due to an unusual size and a problem with the supplier. Also, other leaks around a stucco fireplace were repaired by flashing around the exterior. Due to the skylight being slightly smaller than the ones being replaced, I had to contract additional interior and trim work from another contractor.

Let me begin by saying that I found Mike Kenny on Angie's List, and chose him based simply on his reviews and ranking. Based on his work at my home, I don't think I would ever use anyone else BUT him, and would gladly recommend him to others. My first call was about 10 months prior to the work I'm reviewing here. I needed help with a small leak around a plumbing vent stack. He arrived on time and inspected the problem area with me. I anticipated receiving a several-hundred-dollar estimate, which might include replacing some of the sheathing, shingles in the immediate area, and a new boot. Instead, he pointed out the age of the boot, the fact that it had dry-rotted where it met the vent pipe, and that that was the source of the leak. He recommended a simple, inexpensive fix...a stretchable silicone skirt to cover the gap between the vent pipe and the brittle boot. He supplied two of these - one for each of my vent stacks, even though the other one wasn't leaking. Total cost $20 for the parts. That level of integrity deserves repeat business. So when I needed to have the flashing and cricket at my chimney repaired, it was a no-brainer to call Mike again. He set an appointment for the next day, arrived on time, surveyed the problem area, and supplied an estimate, which was fair for the work I needed done. The crew he sent to do the work arrived on time, were courteous, professional in every way, and it was obvious that they had years of experience. They were working with a chimney sitting a valley created by an addition on the house - a tough job to flash and seal properly. The original cricket had been covered with shingles - a no-no according to his crewman, who proved it by showing me where water had gotten under it. He replaced this with rubberized mat roofing, and did the same in the valley area upstream from the chimney, the source of most of the leaks. They replaced rusted galvanized flashing with aluminum and retrofitted shingles around the cricket and the matting they installed in the valley. They worked quickly (3 hours +/-), and cleaned up the work area when they were done. It has rained heavily several times since the work was completed, and I have gone into the attic below the repaired area during those storms to look for moisture. Bone-dry. Mike Kenny does great work, has good old-fashioned integrity and business sense. He is the only roofer I will use, and I gladly recommend him to homeowners in the Savannah / Hilton Head area.

Came out when they said. Fixed the leak.it has been 6 months or so and we have not had a recurrence. Very satisfied.

Replaced the roof on our home - his crew was excellent and worked very professionally. There was almost no debris left behind - a few very small pieces of shingle.

I spoke with mike and arranged an appointment for an estimate. He never showed and did have the decency to call or cancel. Bad business!!

Mike Kenny personally called back and dispatched an employee to the home to conduct the repairs. Two areas were resealed, one around a skylight and a second near the chimney. Pine needles and tree debris were also removed from the roof during this visit. Mr. Kenny provided an estimate to replace 4 existing skylights with new ones. There were however, 5 on the house, so he needed to schedule a return visit. His estimate was very reasonable, so much so that I am considering having him replace these units prior to a planned renovation and total repaint of the home. Do not be put off by his lack of direct answer on his cell phone or business phone. He will return the call within a few hours. I have experienced this before with excellent contractors. If they are good, they are busy.

Answered and returned all phone calls. Arrived on time and repaired roof same day for great reasonable rate. Would definitely use again.

Architectural shingles were left showing lines across roof....many, many very obvious lines. They came and looked and said they saw no problem, and insurance backed them up. The roof was barely 2 years old and it had no lines. The roof before this one was done with regular flat shingles.....no lines in that roof either.

It’s been so far so good. His quote is very reasonable. He was very professional. His vehicles were clean. They weren't the usual nasty, dirty and filthy construction trucks. I was just overall impressed with the professionalism of him and his workers.

I've been using them for years. I guess the price is fair. The work has met my expectations.

This was a pretty complicated project. I knew going in that there would need to be a lot of woodworking done and sought out a roofer who could do that work in addition to the replacement of the actual roof. I also needed someone who had experience working on older houses (mine was built in 1920). The metal roof was partially original to the house and had asphalt shingles undeneath it. They removed all of that and then got to work on replacing/repairing the damamged wood. There was a lot of woodworking that was needed. Mr. Kenny's team was very professional and curteous to me and the surrounding neighbors. They cleaned up the site almost everyday after working (the work took about 8 days of total work). They did go over budget for the woodworking, but Mr. Kenny explained it out well and was prepared to provide receipts. I would certainly recommend his company to anyone with an older roof and/or house.
