Vladimir was scheduled to come by between 2 and 4, but he finished another call early and called me to see if he could come by early, though was willing to come by as scheduled. I gave him the go-ahead to come by early. He arrived 20 minutes later, I showed him the washer and dryer. He tested both, and the washer was working fine afterward (not sure what happened there, but I like the result!). The dryer, unfortunately, had a broken moter, would need a new one. The cost of the repair would be about same as the cost of a new dryer. He advised me to buy a new dryer. I like that he was honest about that instead of selling me a repair. He even recommended a good, inexpensive brand of dryer (Roper). He did not come out and SAY my GE dryer was a PoS, but he didn't have to. Total charge, $35 for a service call. His conduct was professional and polite. I'm glad I consulted Angie's List before picking AK Repair. Total win!

Timely, friendly, and honest service. Our maytag front loading dryer quit working New Year's Eve. We called then New Year's Day and it was fixed within 24 hrs. From New Year's Day! The other folks we called called me back AFTER it was already fixed. With a family of 4 kids under 5 a broken dryer is a BIG problem!!

Agazi was very nice to deal with and did a great job. I definitely plan on using Ak again if I need further appliance repairs.

I have a French Door LG refrigerator. The door to the ice bin was stuck, and I could not open it. I tried various ways to open it but did not want to force anything and break something. I called Agazi and he came right out. He quickly diagnosed the problem as the door being frozen in place, Took out a heat gun and thawed the lock. Voila! The door works fine. Could I have done this with a hair dryer? Yes. Did I know I could do this? No. Prompt, pleasant, and efficient? Absolutely. I will pay for that every time.

I spoke to Agazi Saturday after figuring out the hard way that my large load of wet clothes were not drying. It was easy to understand after reading the appliance reviews that it was the heating element. I ordered the part online and had it shipped over night. In the meantime, I spoke to Agazi and he came out Monday after I received the part and installed it in under 2 hours. Works like a charm. I was also able to clean up some areas of the dyer. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else with a similar issue. Punctual, cordial and professional. Thanks!

Agazi responded to calls in a timely manner and was very professional. We opted not to proceed with the repair on this 10-year old appliance but Agazi's courteous and timely communication and his overall professionalism are the reasons I will call on him the next time I have a major appliance repair need.

I had leak from the bottom of the disposal. I found him from Angie's list and contacted him via his website. He promptly responded and got me scheduled next day. I asked estimate and he provided it. It would have been great if he could give me shorter schedule window (8 am - 10 am), but anyway he arrived in time. He replaced my old disposal in an hour. I especially liked he checked several time after installing it. By doing that, he made sure no leaking happened any more. I could use the coupon from this site so I got $15 off, so total payment was $224. He gave 90 days warranty as well. If I have problem in future with this installation, I'll leave another review here, if not, I am quite satisfied.

I've had a Duet washer and dryer for 11 years and never had them serviced. The washer was not spinning and draining as well as it used to and had begun to shut itself off during loads with towels or rugs. I wanted someone who would not have any motivation for trying to sell me a new product and liked the reviews I read on Angie's List on AK Appliance Repair. He came out the next day, found some trinkets in the machine that did not belong there (pocket trash, I think) and then cleaned and tested the pump and drum. The prognosis was surprisingly good and the washer is back to doing excellent work for us. He looked at the dryer too and showed me how to blow out the accumulated lent so that I would not have a fire! Oh and a surprise bonus: the knob on my washer cracked a year or two ago so we've been using our fingers and pliers to set it - he, by chance, had a knob to fit it perfectly on his truck! He was polite and patient with explaining what might be wrong and what he would do to find out and what it might cost which ever way it went. He is bringing a new handle for the freezer door on my 11-year-old Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator tomorrow and has kept me appraised during the ordering and replacing process (kenmore sent the wrong color the first time!).

Agazi answered the phone himself, set up an appointment for the next day (at my request), and arrived on time. He was professional, courteous, and very thorough in his approach to the job, and I found his rates extremely competitive. I will definitely use him again....

The job went well. Agazi had to make an additional trip once he figured out the issue. He arrived promptly at the scheduled work times. He got my dishwasher working properly. He was very professional and completed the work without wasting time. I will use him again if I need repair services.

I contacted AK Appliance Repair on Sept 10, 2013. He came out the same day to evaluate the problem with my washing machine. The bearings were shot. He told me he would locate the part and get back with me. He called me two days later to let me know the part was expensive and gave me the option to repair the washer, or replace it. I opted for the repair. He ordered the part and came out on Monday Sept. 23, 2013 to complete the installation. The time in between the 10th and the 23rd was to coordinate our schedules. This was fine with me, as he said I could continue to use the washer if I did small loads. The service call was reasonably priced and was deducted off the total repair bill. This guy is very fair, good at what he does. He was on time and I love the fact that he is an independent contractor. I like to business with local companies. I will use him again for future appliance repairs that I might have.

Mr. Kidane is very pleasant, professional and thorough. I did not realize that my dishwasher had two leaks and Mr. Kidane found both and repaired them. I would recommend him to a friend and I would use him again.

I placed a call to Agazi on Tuesday morning and by Tuesday afternoon, my dishwasher was fixed. He - unlike many contractors in Atlanta, answered his phone, gave me a time when he could come, and followed up with a phone call when he was delayed. When he arrived at my home, Agazi was very professional, thorough and just plain friendly. He verified that my original heating element was in fact bad, replaced it and then waited to make sure the dishwasher did in fact work (and didn't leak) before he wrote up my bill. I would HIGHLY recommend Agazi for repair work - and will definitely be calling him the next time one of my appliances breaks down. Thank you Agazi!!!

Agazi diagnosed the problem and ordered a replacement part. He was very prompt in coming out to the house. He kept in contact to schedule a day to install the new part. My dishwasher was repaired and working properly again. Agazi is very friendly and I'm happy to have met him and used his service. I will definitely refer him to my friends and neighbors. Agazi charges a fee for the service call, but that cost is used toward the repair bill. I found him to be fair and straightforward with his price.

I called this repair shop at 1:00 and explained the situation. He said he would call and try to come by 3:00. Mr. Agazi called and arrived ahead of time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and looked at another appliance while he was here. He will come back within the next two days to repair that. He was very empathetic for the seriousness of the issue and also extremely professional.

Agazi was very courteous and fast to respond.

I called Agazi today around 2pm when my washing machine stopped mid cycle. He answered the phone took some basic details and said he would be at my house between 5 and 7 (on a Saturday). He showed up on-time, did a great job, fixed my washing machine, and gave me a good discount because I had sourced his company on Angie's List. I am very pleased and would use him again, I highly recommend AK! I got AK's name from Angie's list. His was the only company that I called and I did so because in the reviews it was clear that this was an owner operated business and he was the one who showed up and did the work. Other companies had reviews ranging from A-F and it looked like it was based on the luck of the draw as to who showed up.

He was on was on-time and the repair was done in a timely manner. He was friendly and I will definitely call him again.

While drying a small load of clothes on Saturday - 6/08/2013, I began hearing a "scraping" noise coming from the dryer. I stopped the cycle and removed the clothes thinking a coin or such had been left in a pocket. This was not the case. I manually rotated the drum and heard the same noise. Now I'm thinking something is loose and caught in the mechanics of the drum assembly. I started searching for a small appliance repairman. One I had used on many occasions was no longer in business and calls to neighbors was fruitless. I decided to give Angie's List a try. It was pretty straight forward in locating someone local with a good rating. I called AK Appliance Repair and expected perhaps next day (Monday) service, but the technician, Agazi, said he would be on site between 3pm-5pm - no problem. Given it was a Sunday and we were now experiencing torrential rain, I was trying to remain hopeful. Long story, short... he arrived when promised, diagnosed the problem quickly, affected the repair and I was back in business. Overall, a very positive experience. I would definitely call AK Appliance repair again.

Agazi was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and figured out the fuses were to blame. He replaced them and all is workign well. He also was able to give some suggestions on a new oven.

Overall it went great and he went above and beyond the service call.

Our experience with him was great. Our refrigerator broke, and we were right in the middle of a dinner party. He came out on a Sunday. He did a great job, and he was just as nice as could be. I called him Sunday morning, and he came out within an hour or two. I just felt that he was very nice, very kind, very personable, and very knowledgeable.

The service turned out okay. The price was a little high but he did a good job.

It was obvious what needed to be fixed and he didn't try to gouge me for unnecessary services or parts. He noticed a part that needed to be replaced after he made the estimate and only charged me for the part not the labor. He even cleaned out the inside of the dryer and the floor behind it. I HIGHLY recommend Agazi.
