AK Appliance Repair

He came to fix the dishwasher. The dishwasher needed a piece that needed to be ordered and he had to come back on another day to install it. The price for repairs was going to be over $300 , so I decided to buy a new dishwasher. I paid $75 for the diagnosis (very high for just a diagnostic). I don't understand why they have an A on price. The problem was that I asked him to check the stove because one of the burners was not working. He told me it was $35 extra for the diagnosis. I said ok. Once he tried to light on the burner to check it, the burner immediately worked. It was never broken as I thought. He still charged me for the $35 diagnosis of the working burner!!!!!!!!! I will not use him again because of this. I think it is very unprofessional to charge for something he did not diagnosed or fixed.

Used tool to release latch and removed screws in door to pull broken part. Needed to make a return visit since did not have part with him. The tech was the owner Agazi that is a very pleasant and patient individual that has access to electronic assistance in obtaining answers to diagrams and steps (mapping) to assist in assembling item being fixed. He was pleasant to work with, on time and resourceful in completing the work necessary. I would be willing to refer his business to others as well as call upon him again for appliance issues.

I called for an estimate and Agazi was able to come out the very same day. He was very professional and knowledgable and looked at the cooktop thoroughly before coming up with the proper solution. He gave me a quote and did not try to upsell me on anything that I did not need, which I really appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised when Agazi said he could come by the next day to fix it so that I could have my cooktop in time for the holidays! I highly recommend this company and I would hire them again in a heart beat if I need to!

Very professional and dedicated. The dacor microwave was not your standard microwave. Everything works great now.

Very well. When I told him what I needed he ordered the part, called me when it came in and came the following day to replace the switch. This was a small but important job. I was very pleased by the way I was treated when I called for service. I was surprised that he would order the switch without a deposit from me. Then, he came on a Saturday afternoon to do the repair and installation. I would not hesitate to recommend AK Appliance Repair and I will most definitely call him again, if needed.

Agazi was fabulous! He was busy but apologized for coming out the very next day instead of the same day! We had purchased our refrigerator from Sears and they would only arrive two weeks later. He arrived on time. He was very professional. He explained the problem and the solution. He fixed it promptly, cleaned up the area beautifully and our refrigerator and ice-maker work like new. Because of the stronger materials which he used, we probably won't have this issue again. We would call Agazi again immediately for any of our appliance needs. He is a tremendous find and we highly recommend him!

Did everything he said he would. He was about $100 cheaper than expected.

It all WENT SO WELL with AK. He called to confirm! He called to say when he was on his way. He arrived on time -- at the early side of the 2 hour window. He was diligent in attacking the source of the problem. So far, the problem seems to have been fixed. He was caring with the fridge and with putting all of the freezer items back in the freezer when he was done. He was polite and professional. He seemed to know more than the first company that came out about fixing fridges and I feel he was WAY more competent. I am glad I ditched the first company and found AK on Angie's List. The only reason I gave a 'B' for price is because I have no way to know if it was a good price or not because I have no frame of reference. But AK did honor the coupon he has posted on Angie's. I already recommended him to a neighbor who had a fridge emergency.

Agazi was the repair person and he was outstanding. I was in a hurry to get this fixed because I needed to do laundry before leaving on a business trip. He scheduled an appointment and called to let me know he was on his way. By the way, he was able to come earlier than planned which worked out well for me. He showed me all the options that might be causing the problem. I felt confident that his final assessment was the root cause. He ordered the part and when it came in he rearranged his schedule so that I could be his first call of the day. FANTASTIC!!!! I would recommend Agazi to anyone looking for a great small appliance repair company. VERY professional!!

Washer was not working properly. I called him today (Monday April 21) in the morning and Agazi showed up 2 1/2 hrs later. He diagnosed the problem and promptly repaired. He will be my appliance repair person going forward. I would highly recommend. Tony

He repaired my machine on a Saturday after my first request for a Friday visit was not possible. He was very professional and cleaned around the machine in areas I could not reach and left with our laundry room in better shape than previously.

Repaired our Maytag Dryer, very through, explained what was the problem and what parts were required. He was very nice an explained everything. He cleaned up the area he worked on the dryer. I believe he did an excellent job!!!! I feel his cost to repair the dryer was very reasonable>

Fixed garbage disposal without trying to sell me a new one. I later saw a boxed one in the back of his truck that he had, just in case! Smart man, ready to solve problem on way or another. Mentioning the problem with my stove and already having the part needed, he said "I'll be happy to do that for you since I'm here if you'd like." Made my day since I didn't know how to go any father. Will hire again for other projects!

Agazi came out quickly, stayed as long as needed, and fixed it with no problems.

Very responsive service, came at on a Sunday for initial diagnostic and returned as scheduled 2 days later when the required part was available. Was friendly, on-time and efficient on both trips, kept us informed and cleaned up. Would recommend and use again.

Excellent. I was out of town enjoying a FL beach vacation when a renter called me on a Sunday to let me know the dryer was broken. I called AK Appliance and Agazi came out within a few hours. He called me once he had assessed the situation and before he began the work. AK Appliance was prompt and professional. My renters were delighted they did not have to make alternate plans to get their wash done. I will definitely contact AK Appliance again if the need arises.

He came out to diagnose the problem for a $50 fee. He then came back several days later with the new parts needed and completed the repair in under 2 hours. We had no complaints during either visit.

The work went fine. They made the diagnosed and reapired the dryer and no problems thus far.

I had him come out on the 7th of January. He fix my downstairs refrigerator (the easy one). The upstairs refrigerator's ice dispense was broken and wouldn't stop making ice (broken part) and the water dispenser did not work at all. He told me to turn up the temperature on my freezer, keep trying the water dispenser the next few days and he would call my around the 18th of January when he had the part for my ice dispenser. At that time he said he would also fix my water dispenser if it didn't stop working by then. I never heard from him again. I had forgotten all about it. I remembered he was supposed to call me and called him on Feb 15th. At that time he blamed the weather and all kinds of bull as to why he forgot about me. I now have another appointment with him to finally finish the job, once he checks his schedule and tracks down the part he was supposed to be ordering for me. I will never use this guy again and I highly suggest anyone look elsewhere for their appliance repair needs.

Atlanta had a big snow storm that shut down the city so my appointment had to be cancelled. The day after a big snow storm that shut down the city of Atlanta, he called and asked if he could come between 11 and 12. He arrived at 11 and fixed everything. The refrigerator and freezer settings were set too cold which caused the ice maker and water not to work due to freezing. He set them correctly and said to call if it did not fix the problem. It did fix the problem. I have already called to have him work on the refrigerator at a rental property. I was very pleased.

We first had them come out, and they charged $50 for the visit. After they diagnosed the problem, they ordered the part and scheduled the return service. They returned the part for us and recommended we buy new. It was a refreshingly honest experience.

Responsiveness and quality of service was good but in terms of pricing, I think we were gouged. The call lasted less than an hour and it was a small refrigerator and did not require a lot of Freon. Pricing was as if this was an emergency call and it is only an auxiliary unit.

I was very pleased with the service provided.

He was on time, got us working, picked up the necessary part, returned as agreed and applied the perminat fix.
