Description of Work: They seemed to look for reasons to not clean certain windows. Said they couldn't get to windows in carport storage room. There were 2 doors and I had cleared a path from one door. They only looked at the other door and said they couldn't clean those windows. When I pointed out the path cleared from the other door, they managed to get to those windows. In the basement, I was told that their ladder broke "yesterday" so they couldn't clean the windows in the basement. I offered my ladder and they cleaned those windows . They complained that they couldn't completely clean the outside window sills because they were very dirty. I thought that was their job, didn't know the amont of "dirt" changed their agreement.

Description of Work: People, its been over a year on this! As I recall, I purchased a "deal" in August 2011, got sick and then tried to schedule the purchased service in November. Window Genie was contacted and I was told that the deal had expired. I asked for a refund and was told that there was none. No effort was made to find some common ground as the windows still needed to be cleaned. I contacted Angies List and Linsey arranged credit to my satisfaction. Case closed.

Description of Work: I found the pricing method deceptive as they count 1 window inside & out as 6 windows if it has small panes Also they could not determine how to remove the storm windows so those windows could not be cleaned outside. For a medium size 3 bedroom house it was determined that I had over 70 windows using their method of calculation. When I said that I was only able to pay for cleaning outside due to the prohibitive price I was told that I had to do both. Altogether an unsatisfactory experience.

Description of Work: It literally took me a half a dozen back and forth phone calls to make the appointment. The crew were prompt and polite. However, they left a mess. 2 sliding door screens were not reinstalled, and they left a mess of soap all over my front door frame and windows in multiple locations. On a positive note, the window panes were clean.
