Description of Work: After the initial weed treatment, they came back in two months (instead of 30 days as promised), and they didn't have the product to treat weeds in my fescue. A call to the office was received by someone who had no idea of what treatment was being done, and I cancelled any further treatment after a pre-billed follow-up. I need someone who will give attention to MY lawn, not simply schedule appointments. Very poor communication about what my lawn needs or what to do about it.

I would like to thank you for your recent post of your experience with our company. I looked back to review the situation that you are speaking of. I noticed you purchased a deal for application on your property which we completed for you. After the initial application you started a basic program with us that consisted of a few fertilizer and weed control applications. These application come out about 5-7 weeks apart and continue through the course of the year. The lawn was caught up to date after the coupon deal application we performed for you and was not scheduled for application until the time we came out for the treatment you are speaking of. On this day the tech came to service the lawn and notice he did not have the product he needed to treat a particular situation with weeds in lawn so he serviced it with what he had and he put in a follow up which he is instructed to do. These applications come back out within two business days to be completed. Please understand this is the way we keep up with our service records and service dates if we apply anything to the lawn we are required by law to leave you information on what we applied and a service sign. The bill was left for the entire service yes but is not required to be paid until 30 days after the application. The application was performed on a Friday and you called the following Monday morning asking about the situation. At that time the office had just opened and we did not have information entered in the system from work completed that Friday. We do apologize that we could not entertain the exact information about the product needed all we had in the office at that time was that the application was not completed and the tech had scheduled a follow up to come back out to complete the job. We did come back to complete the application after you canceled the account. This was not a pre billed follow up it just reflected the cost of the application price that we were completing. We do apologize for any inconvenience and wish you the best going forward.

Description of Work: Purchased the special off of AL but weeds did not go away, I purposly did not put any pre-emergent down in the hopes that this application would do it, which was a mistake, this was just a means to sell me more applications, the bags are cheaper.

Thank you for your post on your experience with our company. I am concerned that the application was not what you were intending it to be. The application we applied is a great start to help maintain Broadleaf weeds and is a pre emergent to help prevent summer weeds. Pre emergent are designed to help future weed problems not present weed problem. The Treatment that was applied would help to treat some weeds that may have been present but not all. If the lawn has a lot of Grassy weeds this will take multiple application to clear up this is why all of our customers are on a program of at least 8 application so we can control and get rid of multiple different types of weeds over the course of the year. Please understand lawn care is a process and can take multiple applications or up to a couple years of service to really get a hold on some weed issues. we apologize for any inconvenience and wish you the best going forward with the lawn

Description of Work: I bought their service on line at AL.First they called and confirmed my purchase BY AN AUTOMATED PHONE MESSAGE, but they were "two weeks out". | |Once again they called after two weeks and said due to bad weather they would not come on the promised date. The person came 4 days later. | |He called on his way to our place. I did not go out to see him as I was busy with work at home. The person first used a walk behind spreader . We have more than one acre of land at the back. He walked around twice and put it away. Then used a water based fertilizer from the truck mounted tank. Once again he waled around with the hose twice and left. |He left behind a note about future plans and advice. In the meantime I called another company closer to our home. They came and did a professional job (observed discreetly). He stopped by the door and explained all the needed steps to get our lawn free of weeds and get it back in shape.This company's price was not only a third of the previous company, but they had excellent reviews wherever I searched. |My personal experience: WEED MAN OF ROSWELL -- NOT RECOMMENDED. |

With lawn care, weather plays an important role in scheduling and the actual treating. This year has been especially challenging as we have had two weeks of snow and ice, days with 30-40 mph wind, freezing temperatures, and rain days. The only reason we rescheduled your service was that it would have been ineffective due to weather. We cannot control the weather, we simply do the best we can with what we are given. The technician was at your property for almost 20 minutes which is more than enough time to complete the service. The deal you purchased was to cover 10,000 square feet. An acre is over 40,000 square feet, and there was no mention of you wanting the extra area in the back treated. We gladly would have done so for an additional charge. He applied the weed control with the hose as it was liquid and the fertilizer with a spreader as it is granular. The spreader puts the product out in 8 foot wide strips as does the hose with the liquid products. We use the equipment so we can be fast and effective. Also, It is not likely that you watched him the entire time as you even said you were very busy with work and did not even have time to talk with him let alone watch the entire treatment. In regards to our pricing, we use premium products, the best equipment, and hire the best technicians. Our pricing is not the cheapest but is still an incredible deal. It is like the saying goes, "You get what you pay for!". We cost a little more but the results speak for themselves. If you want a premium lobster dinner, you do not go to Long John Slivers, you go to a nice sea food restaurant or buy them at the fresh market, the same applies to lawn care. We have continued to grow year after year despite an ongoing recession and have one of the highest retention rates in the area. We take care of our customers and are truly passionate about our lawns. Description of Work: Purchased full weed control, crabgrass treatment, and fertilizing, through angies list "the big deal". did not get any conformation when they were going to come out until i called them, don't know what was applied to grass, install tech came out when I wasn't home, claimed I should have paid more because my lawn was larger then the deal covered, not true, measured lawn and it must smaller then they claimed, left paper work for future service, and received many automated calls to schedule my next service that i never authorized.

We are sorry to hear your disappointment with the service last season. I have looked into the account and reviewed all the information in the account. It appears last summer your lawn took damage from chinch bugs and dollar spot. This was observed by out office manager who looked at the lawn personally. He recommended a insect and disease control treatment to clear this up. This treatment was never approved by you and never applied. With nothing being done these problems would only get worse till they had run their course. Also to mention dollar spot typically happens typically when there is lots of rain and nitrogen is being washed through the soil causing the plant to stress due to lack of food. Which tells me over fertilization should not have been the cause and most likely insects and disease played a role in this problem. I could not find any orders in the computer that we not ordered or disputed. How ever i did see you disputed the payment made by your wife on the last two applications we did on the lawn. We promptly refunded the money in less than 24 hours. We did not agree with this because you said it was not authorized so we did not argue. Again we believe we have done all we can to help but mother nature plays a role in everything we do from rainfall, insects, disease and many other things. I believe your lawn would have recovered from this pretty well if the application for the problem would have been done.
