Description of Work: Walter came out for the estimate and was very professional and thorough. We had 12-14 large trees (mostly pines infected by beetles) that needed removed and others trimmed. Almost no damage was done to any of the surrounding landscaping which was a minor miracle. Absoultely my best find on Angies List!!!!

Description of Work: Trimmed and fertilized 4 trees. Even came back to trim more off one tree without any problems just to be sure I was fully satisfied. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I called Trees Plus based on a postcard I received from them in the mail. We were looking for a tree service company and had gotten a few recommendations, but hadn't settled on any particular one. They responded to my initail email within 24 hours, and Walter Byrd - arborist and horticulturalist - was out the next day to walk through the yard with me. He was very knowledgeable. He identified trees that needed to be removed and suggested ways of trimming/shaping others that would allow them to flourish while not harming our yard and/or roof. These were major concerns, as we just bought our house from a couple who had clearly neglected yard/trees/shrubs, etc. for at least a decade. The price he quoted for the removal of three trees and the trimming/shaping of three others was quite resonable, s we set up a work date. The crew arrived on time and worked very efficiently. I had to leave in the middle of the day, and when I arrived home three hours later they were gone, and had done such a thorough job of cleaning up that I would never have known they'd been there if I hadn't seen them earlier that morning. The work they did - both in removal and in trimming/shaping - has made an amazing difference in our front yard. We now have sunlight, and can grow grass and plant shrubs. My son said, "It doesn't feel like we live in a jungle any more!" And I have noticed several folks out walking who stop to look at the difference Trees Plus has made in our yard. We will definitely be calling Trees Plus again as we have more work to be done in our back yard, and our lovely old oaks need to be maintained. Walter Byrd really knows his stuff.

Description of Work: They did come out and took care of some trees that were in bad shape. They ended up cutting them all down. They did a good job; they didn’t just cut them and drop them. They cut them in sections and lowered them to the ground so I didn’t have a bunch of holes all over the place where the tree had fallen. It was very controlled and safe. They did a good job and I’d probably recommend them to anyone else who needed tree work done.
