Very informative, crew was professional

We recently had Trees Plus come out to remove 2 very large trees that had destroyed our driveway and sidewalk. Walter (an Arborist) from Trees Plus came out and advised us on the best approach to these trees and also took the time to look at several others in our yard and advised of their health and maintenance. We had Trees Plus remove the trees and stumps to prepare for a new driveway installation. The Trees Plus crew were incredible and completed the job in less than 2 days. They cleaned up so well, you could not tell they had taken down these giant trees and trimmed many others. I will definitely call Trees Plus for all my future tree service needs.

Trees Plus did a great job for us. We had several large to huge trees (10) taken down. The service was professional as a team of 10 men descended on the property. The job was done on time as promised and at a very fair price for the large amount of work performed. Walter, the owner was knowledgeable and confident in presenting his proposal saving our house from a lot of potential future damage. I will use them again and I give them my highest recommendation.

Walter is an excessive talker relaying his educational background and knowledge on trees, he is more interested in his own agenda rather than your specific personal needs. To say that I didn't have a good experience with Walter is an under statement. And now, he was paid in full for $2800.00 on 09/24/2019, check was cleared on 09/26/2019, I called him on the 24th to cut & remove some trees and prune trees, but he did not get it done. He did not complete the job where he was paid in full, and he does not do refunds and I know for sure that it will cost $500.00 to get the job completed, the job that Walter did not finish. When he came on the property. Basically, He did not do the work which he was supposed to do and he even threatened to sue me.

He was an arborist that came out and told me that I should cut down all my trees. That wasn't quite what I was looking for. He did give me a book which was nice but I got the sense he was looking to drum up more business for himself rather than look at the benefit of my landscape. He recommended a couple of people I could go to but at the end of the day, I don't think it was money well spent for me. The guy spent 20 minutes talking about his credentials. Then all the people he knows, and he tried to drop a bunch of names. 5 minutes of that would have been fine, but 20-25 minutes just kinda got old. He gave me a perspective, I mean, I'm certainly not gonna cut down all my trees. I was hoping to get a idea which should go 1st, 2nd and 3rd but I didn't get a sense of that. I'll be honest, I didn't get a lot out of it but some people might have. I had set up a time in the afternoon that I could attend about 4 and he agreed to it. tThen he called me up about 2 hours in advance and asked if he could out early because he was in the area and it would be convenient for him. I told him I was working and I couldn't take time out right now but 4 oclock and that was what we agreed on. So at 4 oclock he wasn't here and I called him and he said he just went home because he was here at 2. It wasn't the time we agreed on. I may be mis-remembering this to a certain degree and I don't lie so I want to be careful here but I do recall there was a conflict there that wasn't my doing that caused some difficulties. So I just put him on the back burner until about a month later when I had an opportunity. It is a small mom and pop shop, his wife does the books and he goes out and looks at trees. It is a very small operation so I have to take that into consideration.

I would highly recommend Trees Plus. Yes, Walter is verbose on the initial consultation, but I felt his comments showed his passion for what he does, which I feel is important. He also gave me his best price upfront with no games (I tried). He was lower than the other quotes I had previously received. Another company promised to beat my lowest quote by $500, but I felt Walter's integrity and eagerness to earn my business was really important. I also believed that a lesser quote would have resulted in a lesser service. Trees Plus tied off every branch before cutting them and tied up every section of tree before cutting. Nothing was left to chance, and all the work was done well beyond my expectations. There were hardly and loud crashing sounds which was almost disappointing. The team had to remove a section of fence to get to my backyard. At a previous house, I had a tree company remove a fence and it was never the same, so I was very concerned. The crew replaced my wooden fence to perfection (that section is more secure than some other sections of the same fence), and even replaced a board that was previously damaged before I bought the house. Every vehicle was well marked as a Trees Plus vehicle, and every crew member had a company shirt and hard hat. These guys definitely knew what they were doing which put me at ease. The crew also staked plywood across my yard to prevent the dingo/bobcat from damaging my grass. 12 of the 13 trees were drug section by section to the chipper across my lawn. 6 hours later you wouldn't even know they were here. As a final step, the crew blew the street, lawn and driveway to remove the massive amount of sawdust and wood chips this job created. This experience truly exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them. Job well done!

. As soon as Walter stepped out of his truck he started talking,,,and basicly never quit talking. He made a point of telling me his past history and seemed more interested in showing off his knowledge of trees. All I wanted was one pinetree removed and some limbs trimmed back on a couple other trees. He was more interested in pointing out all the other trees that he wanted to remove. He was only interested in what HE wanted to do not what I wanted done. After about 10 minutes of listening to his fast talking sales pitch he told me that he would come and do what he wanted for his price and at that point I said 'adios" . What a waste of time since I had described to his assistant on the phone what I wanted done. If this wasnt enough work for him to do then he/she should have said so or told me that they had a minimum of x amount of dollars.

On the Monday we agreed upon to do the work I received a call more than 30 minutes after they were scheduled to arrive requesting to move me to Friday of the same week claiming equipment problems "that had never ever happened before". I was skeptical of this explanation. The person was not a very good liar. But I went along with it anyway and agreed to the following Friday. Then the same person called me back 20-30 minutes later and says they cannot do the work on Friday because someone was going out of town. She then informed me that I needed to wait at home that day between noon and 4PM for some manager from the home office to stop by. Who do these people think they are? Even Comcast gives a 2 hour window. Pathetic. I ended getting the work done by 404CutTree.

I was totally impressed from start to finish with Walter and the Trees Plus Team. We had a LOT of trees that were dead or diseased and our yard was becoming dangerous for our children to play in. Before I found Trees Plus, I had hired a tree company a year and a half ago recommended by a friend and had a bad experience with the workers not doing what was promised and taking breaks more than working, so the second time around I got quotes from several companies and narrowed it down to two companies. The reasons why I chose Trees Plus were many. 1) Walter really knows his stuff. He identified trees, flowers and plants in my yard that no one knew what they were. 2) Walter found trees that were infested with beetles that no one else had found. 3) He gave me good, thoughtful ideas of how to plan re-shaping my yard that made sense for how we live.4) His team was hard-working, non-stop, professional and cleaned up the debris beautifully. I am elated with the results! His team was working all the time and they sure worked well together. I wanted to donate the mulch to a local school and they were great taking it exactly where I wanted it to go. His team was so impressive, our yard has features that made it somewhat difficult to maneuver easily through it and as such his team did a great job working around everything. We have an in-ground trampoline that a limb had fallen through and his team leader told me before I knew it that they got a new one and replaced the damaged one...now that is service! I would recommend to anyone and certainly use in the future.

They did a good job. The price was excellent, it was very competitive. They are good all around.

Very pleased, the regrowth is well underway, and I was happy to have the trees cut back and thinned out. The work was professional and very reasonable for the amount performed. Definitely would use Trees Plus again!

I was very impressed by the arborist that came out to do the estimate. When we had the bushes trimmed back I was very concerned because there wasn't a single leaf left on any of them. However, just as promised they all came back. One has taken longer than the others. I have a feeling it might not have gotten the fertilizer. When we had the large trees removed they replaced a board in or fence. I was impressed that they replaced it but wish they would have brought it to or attention. I would definitely use them again for the "finer" jobs of cutting back bushes and trees but may go for a less expensive company if we have to remove any more trees.

They came out pretty quickly, but their estimate was much higher than others and they even had a special going on at the time. We talked and he asked me if I wanted to remove another tree simply because it would make it easier for him to move the cut wood and I didn’t appreciate that. He commented that I should have already had some things done which I also didn’t appreciate.

They did a great job! I was very impressed because they spent a lot of time walking around my home with me and explaining things to me. He truly was a tree expert. He educated me on my yard. A lot time people come out and list all these things that you need to do and it’s overwhelming. I felt like he was educating me, not upselling me.

They were knowledgeable, the service was good.

It went excellent. They were very prompt, they took real good care of the surroundings. They were very helpful in offering suggestions when they came out in terms of how to handle the situation. Clean up was great. I also had stump grinding done. They came out when promised for that. That went as well as the tree removal.

Trees Plus were prompt, professional and thorough in their work. I would definitely use them again and recommend them for this type of work. They do charge a 3% premium for credit cards, but other than that I have no complaints.

We are very pleased with the work. They removed 3 very large trees which were right up against the house as well as clearing a "jungle" and giving us a backyard to work with. This is our second job (moved to another house) and we will use Trees Plus for any future work.

FANTASTIC! From my first appointment with Walter, to the absolutely WONDERFUL crew to Ann Marie in the office that could answer and take care of all questions, you do not find service like this anywhere. At first, I thought the price was high but later I realized for the service I got the price was GREAT. It has been a long time since I have worked with a company that put the customer first. I am very IMPRESSED by this company and would highly recommend them.

I called Trees Plus for an estimate to prune 3 trees, when the arborist arrived his recommendation was to do nothing, in his opinion the trees were healthy and pruning was not required. When I pointed out a few area of concern and some pruning that my wife and I had already done he gave us a few pointers. It was very refreshing to find an honest business. We received a pruning quote from another business for $500, it is important to note that I do not think the first company was overcharging buy just their opinion on work that was required.

Walter and his employees are all very professional and responsive. Walter knows more than anyone would care to know about the care and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and grass. Ann-Marie is the office manager and she makes sure that the customer is in the loop and manages the customer expectations very well. The work crews arrived promptly, did their work well, communicated well, and even made good when they made mistakes. Bottom line, they did a lot of work in my yard and made sure I was happy with the job before they discussed payment. They even worked with me on making payment arrangements. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future.

This is by far the best tree service we have ever used. John, who gave us our estimate, was extremely professional and not pushy. He also patiently answered every question we had. The men who did the job were also very professional and extremely hard working. Our job was big and they had to be careful of houses, neighbor's fences, and a lot of shrubbery that we wanted to keep. They worked from approximately 8 am to 7 pm and finished the entire job in one day. Due to our yard situation, they had to use a Vermeer machine to bring the wood from the back yard to the front to a dumpster and the chipper (a long way over a manicured yard). They laid down plywood to protect the grass, driveway, etc. The cleanup they did was unbelievable. You could hardly tell they had been here. They even used a blower to "fluff up" the grass where the plywood had been!

One of two bids I got for two trees but they were the more expensive and I went with a less expensive option

I hired Trees Plus to trim a tall elm that was overhanging my house, as well as to remove a tall, nuisance privet tree in a shade garden area I have in my back yard. Walter from Trees Plus was also able to point out ailing trees in the garden and instruct me as to how to selectively remove small scrub trees so that my hardwoods could grow stronger. The team arrived on time the day of the job and walked through the job with Walter, who explained thoroughly everything that was to be done. The guys removed several medium-sized trees without any damage to my surrounding plantings. They cut out dead wood from tall pines in the garden. They even cleared away tree debris that was already on the ground in the garden. Tree limbs and debris were put into a chipper that they had on site. Before leaving the job, the guys blew off all the driveway and path areas and left everything very neat and clean. They were a great group - very polite and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

John came by as scheduled on a Saturday morning to look at the trees along the back of my yard and provided sound advice on what should be removed or simply trimmed. His quote was in line with my expectations and after a little negotiation we arrived at an agreeable price. John and his crew showed up promptly a week later and completed the job in about 3 hours. They laid down plywood to protect the lawn and were careful when cutting the trees not to damage my fence that was very close. They did a good job cleaning up and even followed up the next day to make sure everything was okay. My yard looks much better and I'm pleased with the work they did.
