They did an excellent job. I plan to hire them to install some additional network lines in my home. I love the fact that guarantee their work for a long time. I cannot say the same for subcontractor that did electrical work on my home. I truly hope Trasher Electric remains on top of their game and continue to do excellent work.

We needed three ceiling fans replaced in our new home. Perusing Angie's list, we came across several service providers to choose from. After calling Thrasher and speaking with Rachel (the sales rep), it was clear we would be using their service. To start, Rachel was very professional and detailed in everything she went over with us. She was extremely willing to work with us to get an appointment set up to have someone come out to give us an estimate. She also volunteered a lot of information about the company, their qualifications, and what exactly to expect from the service appointment. I point this out because we didn't find this to be true of all places, where this information wasn't provided until asked specifically. In addition, she was all right with the fact that we were getting estimates from other companies, and was willing to schedule their appointment around others that we had already made. Heck, she even made sure that we knew to ask some critical questions, so that whomever we went with, we were getting qualified professionals to do the job. We were never once made to feel guilty about getting multiple estimates and this put us at ease and confident that Thrasher would ultimately be our chosen provider. In terms of the appointment itself, Kevin arrived promptly and did the work quickly, efficiently, and excellently. Prior to the appointment, we received a call asking if we were available early (no problem if we weren't). We were, so Kevin was able to come out earlier than expected. His estimate more than beat others that we received. Once he started the work, it seemed like it took him no time to get the ceiling fans installed and working properly. He made sure to test the fans and calibrate the balance of one that was wobbling a little bit. Kevin was utterly professional and courteous and was willing to answer all of my questions. Overall, we were more than pleased from start to finish with the quality and value of service we received from Thrasher. We will definitely use them again for our next electrical need and highly recommend them to anyone looking for these services.

The estimate was totally outrageous. The two guys who came were very nice, however one of them only seemed interested in selling me recessed can lights, which I had not asked about. This would have added $770.00 to an already overpriced estimate. They actually wanted $147.00 just to replace a loose switch. The total estimate was $1247.00. I did not have any work done, as I felt the cost was too much.

Ben with Thrasher was great as was everyone we dealt with. They were very courteous on the telephone when I had questions and arrived during the time promised, They did a great job...they made sure everything was covered while they were worked and cleaned up afterwards..

I've used Thrasher in the past. They are reliable and professional. Wayne arrived on time, called before arrival, had everything on his truck, and was very pleasant to have in my home. In the bedrooms where the fans were installed, there was no wiring in the ceiling and only a single switch plate so he had to center the fans, saw holes, pull wires, add larger switch boxes, put fans together, hang, etc. Each room took a couple of hours. Then he quickly installed an extra outlet in another bedroom, and finally completed our dock inspection. Everything went smoothly, he removed the trash, and cleaned the work areas. He also honored our Angie's List coupon from Thrasher for 10% off. We'll use them again.

They arrived on time with booties on their feet so as not to track dirt into the house -- this was very much appreciated. They went right to work covering the kitchen counters, cabinets and appliances to minimize dust from the ceiling holes they would cut. They drew circles on the ceiling for us to approve the location of the cans before making the holes. Excellent job as the cans are evenly spaced and provide good lighting throughout the kitchen. The upgraded fixtures under the kitchen cabinets increase the "daylight" effect which gives the kitchen a warm glow, instead of the cold look of the previous lights. Overall, they were extremely neat and completely cleaned up everything when finished. We not only recommend them, but have already scheduled for them to provide us with additional services.

I spoke to Josh Brooker at Thrasher on a Saturday and asked for someone to come give me an estimate on recessed lighting. I mentioned that I was going to be home the next Monday (that is, two days later) for some other home repairs, so Josh made sure that someone gave me an estimate that Monday. I was happy with the estimate from Freddie and scheduled the work for the following Saturday. Even though Freddie said he was initially scheduled to be off the following Saturday, he rearranged his schedule so he could perform the installation. The installation itself didn't take long and caused minimum disruption. The lights look and work great.

The ballast had blown out on the flourescent light fixture that the builders had put in. I needed the ballast replaced and possibly a new flourescent light fixture installed. Josh Booker suggested that I look at possibly replacing with recessed lighting...I had received an estimate from another well known national electrician company so I knew that the cost would probably not fit into my budget. Kevin & Freddie were the technicians, when they quoted me the price I was flabbergasted! The quote that I had received earlier from another company was over 3 times as much. I couldn't believe the difference. Needless to say, I had the recessed lighting put in. These young men made my day :) Thank You SOOOO Much.....

These guys do out of the box work. If the situation dictates modifications, they not only do not notice, they don't consider other alternatives. Our house is fairly close to the street. The motion lights had a sensor with a wide span so that the lights came on every time a car passed. They should have installed motion sensors with a limited span and also considered installing the lights where they would not be blocked by gutters. I paid a different contractor to fix the problem.

We were experiencing loss of power to our pool area. Thrasher has a tech out with-in two hours of calling. The tech listened to my overview, quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed circuitbreaker. Replace and we were back running within an hour. Great service, responsiveness and reasonable pricing.

Overall, it went great! The estimate was provided on the spot, and with our approval, they began work immediately. The job took approximately one day. The materials used were good quality. They did a great job with placement of the lights. They even took down an old fluorescent light directly above my kitchen sink and installed an electrical box there for me for no additional charge. They had the right tools to do a clean job. They protected our furniture and flooring and did a good job cleaning up afterward. They were punctual, professional, responsive, skilled and hard working. A friend who came over a couple of days after the lights were installed commented on how nice it made the rooms look. I would definitely consider them again in the future for new lighting.

Freddy arrived early and ready. He listened to what my needs were and quickly came up with an estimate. The work was done at Catnip Cottage, a private non-profit cat rescue/adoption shelter. Kevin and Freddy were very considerate of staff and our kitties. They left no mess for us to clean up. There were no holes in the drywall like most electricians leave when moving outlets. They did it in a very timely manner and even gave us a discount because we are self funding. They were very professional, considerate and we hardly noticed they were there. Very nice people I will definitely hire again.

Freddie and his crew did an excellent job! He was methodical with measurements and placement of the lights and they look outstanding! I felt like we not only had an excellent electrician but a lighting designer as well! There was no damage to the ceiling from the installation either.

We're starting the process of finishing our basement and it can be a little intimidating. The numbers can be very large... Josh at Thrasher met with me the next day after calling them and he was very knowledgeable and talked to me about what I needed and I never felt like I was being sold up on additional things. He told me what was going to be needed for the entire process and suggested what can be done in stages. He also found a potential code violation that none of the other contractors noticed and was later confirmed by a Home Inspector friend of ours. The technicians, Freddy and Max were awesome! Very polite and informative. I keep apologizing for asking so many questions.

I called Thrasher and set up an appointment convenient to my schedule. The electrician showed up on time, gave me a written quote that was reasonable in my opinion, and performed the work quoted. He was very detailed, professional, and left the area very clean. Based on my observations, he had performed these installations a number of times. The work was completed faster than I anticipated. The new lights look great and perform as designed.

Josh and his crew are wonderful. They are prompt, professional and well priced. We have been wanting to remodel for 10 years and finally took the plunge. We called Thrasher Electric, and they came out the next day to walk through and discuss our needs with us. Josh had a crew out within a couple days (there was no rush for us-we were just starting this project), and they helped us out with all the major projects. As the project went on, we discovered several more items that needed work (installing extra lights, switches, etc.), and they were happy to come right back out. This company is well managed and does quality work.

Thrasher Electric dispatched Josh Brooker about a day after my phone call to provide an estimate. Josh, a Master Electrician, was very qualified and was very complete in his estimate. During the estimation process, Josh gave me really good advice and recommendations. Given my initial experience, I felt very comfortable hiring this company. I also took estimates from 2 other well-established companies in the area and Thrasher had the most competitive bid. (Win Win) After signing the contract, the work began about 2 days later. Thrasher sent a crew of two very professional men to my house to do the rough-in work. This was completed in 2 days. This team was very responsive to my requests and did a good job cleaning up. My electrical inspection passed with no issues. After completing the rough-in work, I found one wire that needed to be re-routed; Thrasher sent a man out the next day to move the wire. After installation of the drywall and the suspended ceiling, I called Thrasher to complete the trimout of the outlets and recessed lighting. This went smoothly, too. A team of three electricians arrived at my house to complete this work about two days after I made the call. I was especially pleased with the advice I received on the placement of the recessed lighting units in my basement. I was very perplexed as to where the lights should installed, but the installer made great recommendations and the lights look great. In addition to the installation work in the basement, I had a replacement ceiling fan put into my living room and a replacement chandelier hung in my foyer. Normally, I would have done this work myself but both items had to be installed in 18 foot ceilings and I did not have the necessary equipment to do this job. This installation went very smoothly. The crew took great care not to make a mess. They covered my furniture and floor with plastic and the crew cleaned up very well. I highly recommend Thrasher Electric, because I had a really great experience with them. They are professional. They do quality work. They do what they promise. They are responsive and they do the job at a very fair price.

I went with someone else. I feel that Trasher is a good company and I recommend them for their professional manner, promptness, and courtesy calls. The gentleman(I'm sorry I can't find his business card right now to mention him by name)who gave me the estimate seemed quite knowledgeable about his job, very professional, not a hard sell, and he quoted me a fair price.

They are very prompt and knowledgeable about the problem. They also fixed another small thing and we have used them before. Their prices are reasonable and they are very reputable.
