Mike Fennell came out to provide a cost quotation for services. He was very courteous and professional. He made some excellent recommendations, that were not as costly as my wife and I had feared they might be. The quotation was provided on a Monday, and the work completed that same Wednesday. Only one issue was noted in the evening; the positioning of one flood light. Mike's crew members came out that same Friday and corrected the issue at no additional cost. I would highly recommend Landscape Lighting Systems for those interested in installing low voltage lighting. They were outstanding.

Mike is one of the most professional contractors I've ever dealt with and one of the nicest human beings I've ever dealt with. The work was also phenomenal. Everything that he said it would be and everything we expected it would be and more. It was a two member crew but he was there to supervise and get things started in the morning. His crew was just phenomenal and in fact when they were finished we couldn't even tell that they had been there other than the lights were in there and working perfectly. We are going to have him do lighting in our backyard later on after the path is finished. They put the cable underground but we couldn't tell they were here; the beds didn't even look disturbed. I knew they were here because I saw them. I've already contracted him for the backyard.

This was probably the best end-to-end experience I've ever had with a home service provider. The owner was directly engaged in the entire process. He was extremely punctual and followed through on everything we discussed. The manager responsible for my job was extremely responsive, professional, and trustworthy. When we ran into some minor challenges with the design, LLS was very responsive and diligent. They revisited the design and made multiple trips back out to the house to make sure I was completely satisfied. LLS did not require payment up front (though they may need to under other circumstances), and insisted that I was completely satisfied before paying for the project. I highly recommend this company and will definitely work with them again in the future.

Mike came by for a free estimate We walked all around the house and he explained to me some of my options based on what I was trying to achieve. I could tell right away that Mike was very knowledgeable and has been in that business for a while. The next day I had his porposal, I had a few questions and possibly a few changes, and he called me right away and we went over everything in details. We schedule the work for the following week. Two of Mike's employee came to the house, they called on their way to let me know when they would be arriving. They were very professional and we did one more walk thru around the house to confirm the locations of the lights and they got started. It was a fairly big job with 10 lights and some placed very high. We had a mix of landscape lights to enhaunce the house and safety lights on the side and back They hid all the cables and cleaned up after themselves. When they were done, they showed me how the system works and how to change the timer set up as needed. They also informed me of the 3 years bulb warranty adn 10 years system warranty And if any of the lights need to be adjusted, they would come back for free to adjust them as needed

The end result was his team came out that week and completed the whole job in one day, not leaving out a thing or taking any shortcuts. The house looks as if they were never there, except for some new, very beautiful and dramatic lighting, taking advantage of the natural features of the front of the home. I am very pleased and that much prouder of the appearance of my home. I highly recommend Landscape Lighting and the team of professionals.

All went well and as planned

Purchased our home in May, 2013 and it had an outdated lighting system that looked to be Home Depot variety. Got a few estimates for updating our lighting and were pleased with Mike and his price. Some contractors did other things as well, but Mike concentrates mainly on lighting so we felt that was what we wanted. He came out right away to give an estimate and we agreed to have the work, but had to do some landscaping first. When that was done, Mike and his team came to do the work. Lights were placed only highlighting the house which we had agreed to. However, after looking at it for a few evenings, we decided to redistribute the lighting as we felt there was too much emphasis on the house, and none on the foliage. Mike came out again and we came up with another plan. Three lights were taken from the house and exchanged for lighting on the foliage. We added two additional lights for foliage and are very happy with the results. It's not overdone, or underdone.....it's just right. Mike and his foreman (right-hand man) Michael, were very good and we would definitely recommend them....and use them in the future should the need arise.

The best service after the point of sale you will find. Mike and his team follow thru! Remarkably, you can take him at his word. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Mike was very responsive in quoting the job. He came in with pricing exactly where I expected it to be. No hidden costs in the end. He and all of his employees were very professional. We emailed them on the weekend about one of the lights not working (the dog had run by and jostled it) and they called me right back and we were able to tighten the loosened bulb ourselves. We appreciated this level of responsiveness. We would highly recommend Mike and his team.

Mike came out in February and gave us a quote. He was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very responsive. He showed up on time, was very friendly and not pushy at all. I then gave him a call early in March and he was out within a few days. We were actually out of town when they installed the lighting. We got home and they look fantastic! He looked exactly how he said they would look and even exceeded my expectations. The timer for the lights to come on and go off is very easy to use and once you set it, there is no additional work required. I actually thought one of the lights was a little too bright, so I let Mike know and he came out the next day and adjusted it, no problem. I also recommended a neighbor and they are very pleased too.. I would definatley recommend Mike and his company to anyone and everyone. Very fair pricing and great service!

Landscape lighting systems is a highly professional company that understands the aesthetics/design elements of landscape lighting design as well as the technical aspects. In this regard, Landscape Lighting Systems stands apart from other companies that are able to wire and place lights in the ground but have no concept of design. The design element is very important to me given the investment I am making in my property to beautify it now and for years to come. Mike, the owner, gave clear direction and recommendations from start to finish. After the walk through on my property, I received written proposals which allowed me to choose the options for my lighting work that best fit my needs. Once I made my decision, the system was promptly installed. The technicians arrived punctually on the day scheduled, were professional, polite and knowledgeable and completed installation in one day. I am thrilled with my new lighting. I like that the state of the art LED lights are not only beautiful but use very little power to operate. My system also has capability of being easily added to in the future, should I expand my garden. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone looking for professional landscape design and installation. I only wish that all contractors were this great to work with!

As I stated above. The project went great. Mike's team knew the lighting installation business well. They followed the plan and lay wire and lights so that you couldn't tell they were newly installed. They were also able to fix a previous lighting project and incorporate it into their wires and transformer box. The total project took 6 hours one day and 2 hours another day to add some additional lights and tweak the intitial layout.

We saw our newly installed lights after returning home from dinner and our first impression was 'WOW!!!' When Mike realized there was a scheduling conflict on the date we had set aside for our interview, he came a day earlier to meet us. Mike is a very engaging and personable young man who answered questions directly and we instinctively knew we had a potential winner on our hands. After interviewing a couple more companies, we hired Mike and his team without a second thought. We just had a ?good feeling? about him and we were not wrong. Austin and Tyler, the two assigned to our house, knew exactly what they were doing and we were extremely impressed not just by one thing but by many things throughout the day. First, they arrived on time (in fact, right on time). Timeliness and professionalism are extremely important to us. 2-They worked nonstop from 8:30 am to after 6 pm., with only one lunch break. 3-They made one change from our original plan because it worked and looked better and the other questions were about preferences of fixtures. 4-They even painted the electrical cords to match our house colors, something we did not expect! 5-When they finished, they cleaned up all the debris and our yard looked as though they had never been there. 6- Last but not least, they left us a beautifully engraved 'Thank You' card when they left; an unexpected parting gesture that shows their appreciation of their customers. A class act. So, yeah, when we came upon our house in the dark after dinner, we were absolutely thrilled with what we saw. The house was truly breathtaking! I will not and do not hesitate recommending this company to anyone wanting outdoor landscape lights. You will not be disappointed.

Mike was quick to come out and evaluate what we needed. He listened to what we wanted, was very professional and very friendly. He explained in detail the different types of lighting we could use and how they would look. He explained to us that LED lights would give us the effect we were looking for and that it could be done within our budget. After installation, Mike made sure we were completely happy and was glad to make some minor adjustments for us. We asked for some more minor adjustments to fine tune the look and they were very accommodating. Mike and his crew came out in the evening about 8:30 pm to make sure that the final adjustment was exactly what we wanted. With that visit we were able to make the final adjustments and get exactly the look we wanted. We are extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. Great job! Definitely talk to Mike before hiring anyone for your outdoor lighting.

Mike Fennell has a winning formula! He is longtime owner of Landscape Lighting Systems, and I wanted a "proven" company to enter into a long-term installation and maintenance agreement for all my outdoor lighting. Mike's company only handles outdoor lighting, and his expertise, focus and professionalism is obvious in every step of the process. I highly recommend Mike's company with his 5-star service! Left message for Mike, and he returned my initial call promptly. He set an appointment for the very next day, and he showed up on time (even called ahead to ensure I was going to be at home and told me exactly when he should get to my house.) Great communication and follow-up! Mike got to my house and listened very closely to what I wanted. Only after me telling him my ideas, did he ask follow-up questions and then made several key commendations. I appreciated the fact that he is so consultative, explains in as much detail as you care to delve into, and he is very creative. His experience and years of knowledge allows him to be very "frank". He answered all questions fully, and walked me through every step or the installation. After agreeing to an approach, he explained he would write up the details in a proposal and he would email me the proposal that very night. Mike's company charges a per fixture fee (includes all transformers, wiring, light fixture, installation and warranties.) His concept is to provide the best hardware and make it easy should you want to add more lights. He will size the transformer for this job, and then swap out transformers without additional costs - he will just charge the per fixture fee. This flexibility and expansion was important to me. Again, Mike wants a lifetime client rather than doing a job and never seeing you again. Proposal was emailed as promised, and I called mike for some final questions. I had an event scheduled at my home in a week, and thought I would ask Mike if he could do my job before my event. Mike worked to schedule his crews to get my job done in time for the event. (This was not necessary but I sure appreciated the effort and change of schedule for him to fit me in.) His "value add" showed up in several instances during my installation. On the day of the installation, Mike coached his crew on the exact details of my installation. A crew of two took all day to install my entire project. They were very careful of all landscaping, and very consultative answering all my questions. Before leaving, they walked me through the details of the entire project and made sure they answered all my questions on timer settings for the transformer. Great job, Mike! Please pass along to your crew how much I appreciated their kindness and professionalism.

Mike and his team came out and advised us on our landscape lighting for our new frontyard. He was extremely punctual, knowledgeable, and helped us through the process from cradle to grave. Mike advised us on which systems were more affordable, provided the right amount of lighting, and long-term value, all the while making sure we brought his team in at the right time - we were in the midst of grading, landscaping, and resodding our yard, so the timing was critical to ensure the final product was just right. Not only did Mike provide great counsel, he helped us obtain the perfect lighting fixtures at the right price. His business practices are outstanding -- we made payment only when we were completely satisfied with the service. I highly recommend Mike and his team for any outdoor lighting project and we will most certainly use them again.

Mike Fennell arrived on time for the appointment we made to get an estimate of the work we wanted to have done. He walked us through his recommendations and subsequently provided a written estimate. The Landscape Lighting crew arrived on time and completed the work on schedule and at the agreed upon price. We are VERY pleased with the quality of work performed by this company would definitely recommend them. The price was competitive and we found Mike to be very professional and customer-focused.

They arrived on time and had several good ideas. The pricing was reasonable so we decided to use him. He also had good reviews on Angie's List.

We had all new landscaping installed at our 2 year old brick home in the spring and wanted to add some lights to make the house look as good at night as it did in the daytime. After researching several lighting companies on Angieslist and other sites, we asked Landscape Lighting Systems for a proposal. Mike, the owner, quickly provided a quote and when we told him we were having a party in two weeks he promised to work us into his schedule even though it was his busy period. His design philosophy is a "less is more" approach and he used a minimum number of lights on the house. He recommended we not add lights to several trees in the yard because it would take away from the house even though it would have meant more money for him. His crew showed up as promised the following week and had everything installed in less than half a day. The installation was neat and professional and we could not even tell where they had buried the wires. The light fixtures are high quality and the transformer is heavy duty. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend them to anyone.

Mike was very professional, informative and easy to work with. I liked his "less is more" artistic attitude. The lights and materials used where quality products, not the stuff you see at the box stores. Would highly recommend the company. The service was great and the price was fair. Great job!

I was quite pleased with them. They were very professional and I liked their logo. I had them come back a couple of times to adjust the lighting the way I wanted it. They were quite responsive. It seemed kind of expensive, but they did very good work. I was pleased with the final results and I am very happy. The second time they came out, they were going to bill me and I talked to the owner and he dropped that. I like their lights and they did good work.

Mike Fennell (owner) answered the phone when I called and set up appt for the following afternoon. He arrived exactly when he promised - he listened to my ideas about the landscape lighting for my home. He made suggestions that I liked - he could have sold me a lot more but instead he sold me the right lights to match my desires. He wanted NO money up front - even on the day of installation he wanted me to wait until he knew I am completely satisfied before I paid. I did not even go to my home on the day of installation since they did not need access to the inside. Mike called me the next morning to see if I was happy - I asked for one adjustment and his guys came that afternoon to take care of it. I probably could have spent less money somewhere else (although I'm not sure about that) but I absolutely am willing to pay extra for the kind of customer service Mike Fennell offered. AND, I love my new lights!!! I highly recommend Mike - his company now goes under the name Lighting Done Right.
