Excellent service, on short notice & without a "holiday charge."

Even though it was a small job the vendor treated me just like it was a large one. He was very courteous and performed in a professional manner. He got onto the roof and trimmed the tree branches so that they no longer touched the roof. He then removed and replaced the damaged shingles. The job took less than thirty minutes and he was on his way.

I was referred to this company by a company who did some power washing at my home. I had stated I really needed a gutter in place to stop the cement staining that came from the roof area when it rained. The person stated he might be able to help me. He gave me a business card he had for RPI. I called them the same day (June 13, 2014) and someone was scheduled to come out on June 17th at 3 pm to assess the situation and determine what needed to be done. A very nice man arrived on the schedule day and we discussed my issue and decided where the gutter should be place. He stated someone from the main office would call for scheduling and would let me know the price. Eventually, an appointment was scheduled for August 26th. Two men came out on the scheduled day and added a gutter. They were very pleasant, answered any questions I asked, and did a great job. It took about an hour. I am very pleased with the work done.

The Solar Fans were scheduled and installed immediately. They work, and when there was a glitch the company was quick to come out and fix it. The gutters took longer than expected, but it was because of a broken axle on their truck. They kept me up to date on the progress and scheduled as soon as the axle was fixed. They are working great and now my hanger doesn't collect water like it used to.

Eric came and checked the repair site. Gave his recommendations and price. There were delays from start of job to finish due to rain. Workers are professional and accommodating.

RPI replaced our roof at the end of 2011. Early in 2013, we experienced a water leak in our living room which appeared to be coming from around our chimney. RPI staff came promptly and checked the caulking around the chimney. They could not find any problems with the roof, but noticed that the cap on the chimney was badly deteriorated and could be the source of the leak. We had them replace the chimney cap in March of 2013. Unfortunately the leak recurred a couple of months later during a strong storm. As we were heading into hurricane season I was very concerned that the problem was recurring. The RPI staff came out more than once, but the leak continued to occur whenever a storm with strong winds and rain happened. After this happened a couple of times, the RPI guys came out and (as frustrated as I was) began to pull shingles off the roof around the chimney, and even pulled off some of the siding on the chimney itself. They discovered that the plywood sheathing around the chimney had never been wrapped and sealed by the original builder, so that water had been able to make its way behind the siding and through seams in the sheathing. The RPI staff wrapped our chimney with waterproof material and caulked around the bottom, then replaced the siding and shingles they had removed, all at no additional charge. We have had no leaks since. I was (and am) extremely grateful for their dedication and commitment to finding and solving our problem! I have never dealt with any company so willing to go the extra mile to solve a mystery like this. I can't imagine ever using another roofing company after the amount of time they gave to help me with this problem, which was one of the reasons we re-roofed the house back in 2011.

RPI Residential came in. They did everything on time. They were very professional.

Not only did he come out on a Saturday and do a FREE estimate, he called me to give him his professional opinion. We were under contract to buy this house and the roof issues came up on the inspection. After speaking to Mitch, we decided to get out of this contract. I really feel he helped my family to not make a terrible mistake with this house. Thank you! I would definitely use him again if needed.

We were awakened at 3 AM with water dripping on the bed. We found the problem in the attic dripping from a skylight. The next morning I called RPI and within 2 hours a repairman (JJ) came to the house, He plugged some nail holes on the roof with silicone to stop the dripping. He took pictures of the skylight on the roof and said the entire skylight needed to be properly sealed. The residential supervisor would call me to give an estimate of the total cost. Eric (Residential Supervisor) called me two days later with the estimate, but we were out of town for a week. When I called him back we agreed to do the work and he would get it on the schedule within a week or ten days. He called me the next day and said they had a cancellation of a different project that day and could they come by and fix it that afternoon. They showed up at 1 PM right on time, and finished the project that afternoon. I was quite pleased with how quickly and efficiently the problem was fixed. Both Eric and JJ were very knowledgeable and polite. They also got the project fixed quickly--much faster than I expected! JJ also made an inspection of the entire roof I highly recommend this company for home repairs. It turns out they also did work for the previous owners when a branch from a tree punctured the roof.

Excellent! They were in constant communication, and making me aware of the work. Started on time and billed invoice timely.

So far it has been pretty good. They are the lowest quote we've gotten so far. I'm planning to use them. We got an email proposal the same evening. They also gave us some other advice regarding the roof.

Came out to conduct an estimate (1st week in June). Estimate mailed to us. Called to make appointment (no specific date could be given due to their heavy workload and excessive rain during the month of June/July). Late June appointment made. Workers showed up, work conducted and billed two weeks later. Workers were professional, respectful of our property and cleaned as they worked.

Very well. Assessment was professional. Inspector representative from company and repair crew were on time clean up was thorough. Job was well done.

They did really good work. The man that works with the company is called Mitch Maupin. They will be putting an addition on our house and we knew them from before when they repaired our roof. Some shingles had come off around our chimney. They cleaned up their materials. They worked promptly. They explained everything. The cost was minimal, considering what they did. I would give them top marks.

Pipe boot replacement was attempted but the shingles were too brittle. The repair crew informed us of the issue with the shingles and recommended a caluk around the existing pipe boot. We took his recommendation and was glad that he talked with us prior to completing any work.

They did a great job. Were very professional and courteous. Sky lights need to be installed right the first time or they have a tendency to leak. RPI did a great job. We recommended them to our neighbors who need to have gutters installed around their entrance way.

They had competitive pricing, were good about coming out and giving me a quote in a very timely manner, and were quick to respond to my phone calls and emails. They were courteous, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. They didn't treat me like I was stupid or talk over my head. They only addressed the work that needed to be done, thy didn't try to oversell me or get me to do more than what I needed. After the first rain, we had a problem with one of the gutters. I called them and they were out the very next week.

Excellent workmanship and follow up by RPI. I was extremely satisfied and have refered them to my friends in Hilton Head. Totally professional. I recommend RPI to anyone having any roofing or gutter work performed.

The folks at RPI answered MANY questions before we went with them -- I pulled down lists of questions from internet sites, and they answered every one with patience. We considered three roofers (all found on Angie's list) and contacted two with questions after receiving initial proposals. The entire process took several weeks, as I am not the most motivated person in the world when it comes to spending large amounts of cash! But the RPI staff were very polite and patient. They did the work the week after Christmas, very quickly and with very little mess. The whole job took less than 4 days. They cleaned up every day and at the end of the job went around with a metal detector or something to find nails. We are very happy with how it looks an although the cost was not the cheapest, I feel it was a good investment. UPDATE as of 5/16/14 In the spring of 2012 we had a couple of leaks around the skylights over our back porch, and 2 men from RPI came out promptly to locate the leaks and fix the problem. This ended up taking several visits over the spring, as it turned out NOT to be problems with the roof around the skylights but with the way water was flowing down our siding onto (or rather under) the roof of the porch. Each time I called, the RIP guys showed up quickly (even in the midst of a rainstorm!) and worked hard to discover just where the water was entering. They showed me pictures taken on their cell phones of what was going on up on the roof. They ended up caulking at the bottom of the siding above the porch, which solved the problem. All of this was done at no additional charge, even though the leaks showed up months after the roofing job was completed. I expected no less, but was pleasantly surprised to find they agreed! Doesn't always happen that way! :) In every encounter, the RPI staff were polite, professional, and efficient. The only problem we have encountered is that a few roofing nails were missed in the clean-up afterwards -- despite using a metal detector, a few were missed, and we found them in the usual (painful) way. But this was a small issue in a very large and successful re-roofing project.

I am very happy with my new roof. They arrived when they said they would. They were very fast, and addressed any questions or concerns promptly. Came in on estimate - no surprises. My roof looks great!
