Description of Work: Terminex gave me a free inspection for termites and recommended deep treatment around my foundation without boring the blocks when we bought our home. They did the initial treatment and have returned each year to do an inspection. They schedule each visit and offer discounts for paying two years in advance. The price has remained steady for over seven years now. They are usually a little late for appointments, but very pleasant to deal with. They also will come out anytime I think an inspection is needed and have offered me additional pest services. Their guarantee sounds great as long as I continue to renew my contract, just be sure to understand that they only cover new damage with live infestations from the listed species. I like the deep treatment because it is a one time thing instead of having more chemicals applied each year.

Description of Work: Outside pest service. They have kept our home clear of internal pests for almost 8 years. They have controlled outside fire ants and other ground pests. We are very happy with the service. They have responded quickly (usually one day) to emergency problems. (mice, lady bugs, ants, etc.)

Description of Work: Added service for ants and carpenter bees. Normal treatment is every three months. Normal treatment is perimeter treatment and interior treatment as required. I usually have him treat the full interior of the house twice a year. They have been treating the house for 7 years and we have had no invasions or infestations since they started. They even cover animals (mice, rats, etc.) We do not have termite treatments, but there are no termites at this time and I use their free inspection every two years to keep check on them.

They only treat my home on the outside because luckily I have no pests inside my house. They also come out at no extra charge, as often as needed, whenever I see wasps or other pests around my house, and are very prompt when I request the extra services. Very nice and professional techs, and willing to go the extra mile.

Description of Work: Terminix acquired Sears Termite protection in 2001 and took over my policy. I had damage to my house from active termites in 2003 and 2005. Terminix retreated the house and had a contractor repair the damage both times to my satisfaction.

Last December their serviceman said he had inspected my home inside and out - when actually, he had not been here at all. I didn't have an appointment and it was not time for renewal. I have a problem with companies who employ servicemen who do not tell the truth. They also do not pay attention to their email replies making appointments.

I called operator said these "misunderstandings" happen A Lot?! I rescheduled. Technician didn't show, I called. Operator stated he would be there in 10 minutes. So, now almost an hour late he shows. At t point I'm bewildered that there was no notification that he was going to be late and being late after I call to see why you wasn't on time, after having a 2 hrs window. He seems to be in a hurry. He was here maybe 10 minutes , knocks on door and states I will be emailed. WHAT? I asked if was coming inside to do inspection and he responded"no". I received no email. Today although I received email that the interior inspection needs to be done!!! Imagine that. AWFUL AWFUL I'm from Savannah, and am looking for new termite company!!

When the serviceman arrived, I couldn't answer the door, but observed him throught he window. As near as I can tell, he sat in his vehicle for 15 minutes, filled out a $79.00 bill, and left -- without ever providing the service! On the bill, it said that he treated the inside & outside of my home. He never stepped foot in my home. I cancelled my contract with Terminix.
