Description of Work: They brokered a car carrier to meet us near our house in Vero and transported our car up to CT. They met my sister at a place that was convenient for her. It worked out very well. I was very last minute...I recommend deciding about dates at least 5 or 6 weeks ahead.

Description of Work: It went OK. It took longer than expected to receive the vehicle despite being within 2 hour driving distance. Had to call company to get status update since no one contacted me. Car arrived fairly dirty but it was a long trip.

Description of Work: After leaving a message on Angie's List. I received a prompt reply. Original quote was $1195 for Economy Saver, which would have been a 15 day pickup window. They also offered other rates, but I was not pressured. I went with a higher rate which guaranteed pickup in 3 days. I paid the deposit and amazingly within an hour and a half they found a transporter. Picked up the next day. Driver was courteous, on schedule with delivery and kept in contact. | |Even though I agreed to the higher price to expedite pickup, final costs were about what everyone else was charging with longer pickup times. Ali was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: I used Amerifreight, to transport my daughter's car from Stanwood, WA to Dalzell, SC. They are a broker, the car was transported by OK auto Carrier. |Ali at Amerifreight was very professional explaining the process. Easy to reach. I paid a premium dollar to ship the car. My daughter required her car to get to work. Our original plan was to roadtrip but then she had to be there earlier two days earlier. The car was picked up on Aug. 5th. The reason I paid the premium amount was because the other company I contacted didn't have a carrier going south until Aug. 13th. I was told it would take 7 to 10 days. My understanding was the car would be delivered to her residence. On Friday, Aug.15th my daughter called me, it was 9:30pm is SC. She was walking to meet the driver who refused to come down her street. He had told her it was 1/4 mile from her residence. It was a 1/2 mile walk. I was given instructions, nothing was to be left in the car and that the gas tank was to be less than a quarter of a tank of gas. I drove it down to an eigth of a tank. I figured that was below what was requested and enough to get her to a gas station. When she took delivery of the vehicle the tank was on "E". I contacted Ali who understood my concern and said they wouldn't be using Ok auto carrier in the future. In the future, if I use a broker I will check out the car carrier on the internet before I sign an agreement.

Description of Work: Intially, I made a call to the business number. A pleasant scheduler said I would know within the week the cost and pick-up place. Sure enough, the scheduler contacted me with news that she had a carrier, gave me the price. I met the driver and he did an inspection of the car to check for any "dings etc.", and he carefully loaded/secured the vehicle from a agree-upon location in the city (I live in the mountains with difficult roads. The auto was delivered to its final location in perfect condition. I would definitely use this auto carrier again, as they were easy to work with and most professional.

Description of Work: Amerifreight helped me to ship a car to my son several states away. I had never done this before and they walked me through the process and everything happened exactly as promised. The car was dropped off at my son's driveway. I highly recommend them.
