We had a huge River Birch that straddled a fence into our neighbor's yard, hanging over both of our roofs. The guys took exceptional care in making sure to protect landscaping and other things that could be damaged by a huge limb that was removed. They unscrewed and laid down the path lighting, replacing it after they finished. One landscape lamp didn't work after that, so 404-CUT-TREE sent their maintenance guy out to fix it. Great company, great work. I would use them again.

It wasn't the lowest price but we went with them because they have certain services we appreciated. They were fine and they were good. I've referred them to other people. The cost is a little bit on the higher side. We went with them because they cut the tree down from the base. They were able to do a little bit better of a job of avoiding our house with cutting the tree. We're more confident with them doing it. They cleaned up after themselves.

Team arrived on time, completed work quickly and professionally with no damage or drama. I would use them again.

I have an old tree in my backyard that has lost some big limps recently. I didnt want to cut it down but thought the limp loss might be a symptom of a bigger problem. I called 404- cut- tree and their arborist was prompt, professional, and very informative. He explained about the health of the tree and didnt recommend cutting down the tree. I really appreciate his and 4040 cut's honesty and great customer service.

Everything was outstanding. Scheduling was super easy, Robert was on time and super helpful during the initial appointment, the crew who came out to do the job was great, and there was a lot of communication throughout the process so I could understand the timeline for the work. Everyone I interacted with was professional and very responsive. The quote I was given was very reasonable and in line with others - I chose 404-Cut-Tree though because they were the most responsive and the most helpful during the process. I would definitely recommend this company in the future!

The arborist consultation was very helpful. I felt that I got a fair and honest assessment of what services were needed. I was not pressured for them to perform unnecessary services. The guys removing the trees were very professional, showed up on time, and got the work done in a timely manner.

Two tree specialist cut down both trees removed all debris in 3 1/2 hours. Minimum impact on my yard. They put down plywood on the yard to drive a Bobcat with rubber tracks to haul tree debris to the chipper & trucks and the Bobcat did not damage my driveway or the street. Both tree specialist's were hard working and did not waste any time. I was impressed with their courage and determination to get the job done. It took 20 days from the date I signed the agreement to cut down.

He arrived on time and gave a very thorough evaluation of the trees in our yard. Determined some that were already dead and a potential threat in high winds, those that are dying and those that are healthy. All in all quite pleased. They also gave us a quote to take down the trees that have health issues. We are getting additional quotes for that.

They did a great job. They do bring a lot of equipment, including a wood chipper. It is very large and there was a bit of a logistical challenge to get the equipment in my small area, but the guys were great.

The man who came out was very professional and knowledgeable. He was very helpful with identifying trees and needs for trees. The price was surprisingly expensive for annual pruning and fertilizing but I don't have anything to compare it to so this might just be the price of fertilizing and pruning large trees.

Their arborist was extremely knowledgeable, and was friendly to boot. He even offered to answer follow-up questions over email for a largely indefinite period, so long as the question wasn't too huge.

The guys showed up on time and did the service we requessted even to a better extent than we had hoped. We will definitely use them again.

The arborist who gave the initial estimate was punctual and professional. The crew who came to cut down the tree was quite friendly, appeared to be taking proper safety precautions, cleaned up after themselves, used a leaf blower to clean up the roofs after the job, and seemed professional and responsive to any requests or questions. The crew was delayed one day from originally planned date of service, but the foreman was communicative and professional regarding this exchange.

From beginning to completion, it was high quality service. They were unable to use the stump removal equipment, due to the lay of land, however, the two men handled it manually, cutting the stump below the surface, cleaning up all of the debris and blew all of the remnants off the porch. You could not tell there had been two tree's before. Very professional job!

This is a great tree service! We found them on Angie's List and they came out to give a free estimate. The estimate was very reasonable, so we scheduled the work. The trucks arrived on time as promised and work began. I was very impressed by the safety measures the crew used for my property and for their team. When the work was done, they cleaned up after themselves. Except for the missing trees, I wouldn't have known they were here. Highly recommended!

404-CUT-TREE took down seven trees on our property over the course of 1 day. The arborist that was sent for the consultation was professional and helpful in guiding us on which trees were and were not healthy. The day the service was provided, the team arrived early, adjusted the quote on the spot based on some changes, and did a great job removing all the debris from the yard. We'd gladly work with them again.

Absolutely awesome. Stuart provided initial consult and proposal. He was very professional, knowledgeable and timely. His crew, led by Scott, was absolutely fabulous. We recently purchased a 20+ year home and the former owner was more of a naturalist where pruning was not regularly accomplished. Scott's crew completed everything AND MORE to make our property look absolutely fabulous. They cleaned up afterwards and left everything looking great. Our existing trees can now breathe and get some much needed sunlight and air flow and the property looks well taken care of. We plan for winter pruning and have also arranged for initial and regular tree health (fertilization and treatments) to ensure the long-term health is maintained. We look forward to a long-term relationship with 404-Cut-tree and highly recommend them to our neighbors, friends and family.

Angel was a wonderful, knowledgeable team lead. The 2 man team began work at 8:00am promptly as scheduled and completed all items on invoice/work order within a few hours. The team cleaned the property and all was wonderful!

They were great and I have had no problems with them. They did everything exactly the way I wanted done. Some of their people don't communicate very well in English, but I took photographs with my camera and marked them up and they did it just the way I wanted.

Went very well. Good communication, very professional. I shopped around a lot and this was definitely the best price.

We had to re-schedule the original date due to weather. They came out on a Saturday which probably meant paying the crew extra but my price did not change. Excellent work and cleanup. When the work was finished in less time than was estimated, they even ground up a smaller pile of trees and branches I had made plus cut up a rather large tree in the back yard that had been down for a couple years at no extra charge.
