They arrived earlier then promised which was wonderful. They were polite and friendly. They did their job with a very professional presence. There was a large crew for 3 windows which means it didn't take as long to complete the install. They were only here for 2 hours do install 3 windows. BTW, that includes removal and cleanup also. Very impressed.
Description of Work: Power Home Remodeling installed 3 new windows. They came out did their presentation and what sold me was that I could do a few windows at a time and still get my originally quoted prices. The minimum was 3 windows and the quality of these was impressive. They show you how energy efficient the windows are during the demo. They also have a full size example of their window. We did windows before with someone else, wish I had known about Power first. Will be back for more windows in the future.

First I have to say that I discovered Power from their booth at the Atlanta Pride event. There were 3 vendors there that did windows and I signed up for all of them. I will admit the guy at the Power booth looked like he popped out of a magazine which I am sure did not hurt sales. Having no idea what to expect I painfully discovered that each vendor will spend about 3 hours with you "educating" you on why their windows are the best. Let me save you about 6 hours, go with Power. First the sales guy was the most honest sales person ever. I had just moved into this house so I had him look at siding, windows, gutters, and roof. I had previously been told by another company my siding would need to be replaced soon; Power said it was fine! Plus not only was their price very reasonable, but they have a solid product that they stand by and having had my new windows for 2 weeks now I can tell you they were well worth the expense. I honestly just got the "warm and fuzzy" from them. They were very nice, personable, intelligent people. Everyone from the sales guy, to the people installing the windows, to the QA guy afterward clearly knew what they were doing and took pride in their work. They did such a good job I actually had them replace 8 windows, 4 windows first, and because I was so impressed I had the QA guy schedule the other 4 to be done right way. They have a reasonable finance option too. However be warned, windows are expensive, but at least with Power I felt comfortable that I was making a good investment in a solid product.
Description of Work: Replaced 8, 30+ year old, windows with new ones.

Consultation took 4-5 hours of a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We kept trying to speed him up but he insisted on going through his whole Powerpoint presentation talking about the company history, some lemonade day, etc. Then he gave us a PhD in roofing to explain all the possible issues with roofs. I stopped and said "can you inspect our first to know what/if any of these apply to us?" He kept going anyway, which I took as a scare tactic. The price for a 1900 sq. ft roof (or 19 squares as they call it) started around $18-19k. By offering a referral to a friend and to do some survey on the back end, somehow the price got down to around $16.7k. It's questionable that the price could be reduced by $2-3k for some simple marketing. My friend didn't even have to close a contract, I just had to give her name and number to them. We signed the contract to have work done but were not happy about spending $16.7k on what started out as one roof leak. We decided to cancel our contract within the 3 day window. When I called to cancel via phone and scan/email canceled contract, they informed me a representative had to come out to "finalize the cancellation". I thought this was odd since we did everything we were supposed to do. The guy came around 6:30pm that night. What I did not expect was to receive another lengthy sales pitch. He was at our house for an hour! I was in the middle of cooking dinner and had to eat and drink wine with him at my dinner table. A ruder me would have kicked him out. He wanted all this feedback about the prior associate who came to do the consultation and had some long survey. We said he was knowledgeable and professional, but took too long. And that we ultimately canceled because we decided to pursue remediation covered by our insurance. Then he went outside to "send in the cancellation". I specifically asked him, can you finish up in here with us first and do that later, we want to get on with our dinner. He said no, and he would be right back. 15 minutes later he returns and starts dropping his price for us to keep the contract! At this point we're like "you need to leave". He says "ok, ok, $12.5k is the lowest I can go". This company sales tactics are horrific, and I have no faith in their pricing if they can afford to start at $19k and drop down to $12.5k. They have too much profit margin built in, or have a bad product... or both. After more leaking since then, we have decided to replace the whole roof, and are working with Nailed It Roofing and Restoration. The whole roof and new decking is $7.3k and comes with a 12 yr warranty, what a difference! I will write a review on them once the project is complete!
Description of Work: Provided an estimate for an entire re-roofing. We accepted the consultation thinking they do repairs - they do not do repairs, only full new roofs.

As a company, Power does things the right way – using specific products and a specific process to deliver a premium experience. If we don’t have the opportunity to explain these differences to the homeowner, our customers will be comparing numbers with zero context. This can lead to homeowners having the project done elsewhere and, generally, being unhappy with the results, as the home remodeling industry carries a 68% complaint rate. Power’s customer satisfaction rate for those who have had work done hovers between 95-99%, with 93% of our customers willing to recommend Power to family and friends. These numbers take into account customer opinion on price, length of visit, communication and quality of installation. While we regret the fact that you did not enjoy your experience, we’d rather have someone unhappy with the amount of time spent on the appointment prior to a customer doing the project than someone being happy moving into the installation but dissatisfied with the finished product. If you'd like to discuss your experience further, please feel free to contact me directly. First off I have to say that my roof was not an easy roof to deal with. My house is over 100 years old and the original house has been added to over the years, resulting in 6 different roofs all thrown together. The company did an excellent job in dealing with all these roofs, and the job supervisor did an incredible job building a water diverter on one of the back roofs where I had a problem area. The company is expensive, but the quality of their product and the warranty are better than most in the business. They also have good financing choices available to their clients. I would have rated them A on everything but for an incident that happened with a tree limb. I have one tree limb that goes over part of the porch roof that I use to safely help me get onto the roof to clean off debris. It is not a large limb, but it is the only way I can safely get on my front roof. I put my ladder between the fork in the limb and use the limb to help me get on the roof. Knowing the reputation that roofers in general have for damaging trees and shrubs, I made sure the company knew about this limb from Day One. I explained to the representative that did the bid why that limb needed to stay like it was, and was told it could be worked around. I had a tree service out and pruned back other tree limbs going over the roof, pruned some off of this particular limb, pruned back shrubbery, and even took down a smaller tree that was too close to the roof. When the pre-job site inspector came, I again pointed out this limb, explained why I could not cut it off, and told him I didn't mind if they tied it back. He said it would not be a problem, that the workers could work around it. The day of the job, I pointed out the limb to the job supervisor, again explaining why I needed that limb to stay intact so to speak. He called all the workers together, explained in detail about the limb, and pointed it out to them. The supervisor did his job. Sometime during the first working day, one of the workers got irritated with one of the branches on that limb. Instead of following protocol and going to his supervisor with his issue, he took matters into his own hands, and ripped the branched from the limb. Unfortunately it was not a clean break. The branch was located right near the upper fork in the tree, and it had a knot at its base, so it took about a third of the holding wood of the upper left fork with it, and also ripped the bark and additional wood off for about 6 inches below it. If the worker had gone to his supervisor like he should have, and they had come to me and asked, I would have agreed to let them cut that one particular branch off the limb. Even if the worker had cut if cleanly off, I would not be as upset about it. But because he just ripped the branch off, it did unnecessary damage to the limb. There is a very strong possibility that I may lose the upper part of the fork, and a slight possibility that I may lose the lower left fork of the branch which is the part I use. By compromising the structural integrity of the limb, it has compromised my safety in getting up on my roof to clean it off. The next day the limb was tied back, but the damage had already been done. If I had not mentioned this limb at all and it was damaged, then that would have been my fault. But, as I mentioned previously I was up front about this particular limb from day one. The job supervisor did everything he was supposed to do, but one of the workers choose not to follow the directions he had been given. Unfortunately, the limb cannot be repaired. It's a living organism so the branch cannot be glued or nailed back on. I have no other recourse to show my displeasure about this damage other than to give the company a lower rating than I would have if the tree limb situation had been handled properly. They have a good product, they just need to make sure their workers understand how important it is to follow the instructions they are given by their supervisor. I checked yes as to possibly using this provider in the future, but probably would not as their other products are not really applicable to my house. I would have checked "maybe" if that option had been available.
Description of Work: Put a new roof on my house. Stripped off old roofing, replaced any rotten wood, put new venting in, redid all flashing around chimneys, and built water diverters where needed, put new shingles on, cleaned up debris.

We had been planning to have our windows replaced for a couple of years with energy-efficient ones. While at the North Georgia State Fair in September, a representative of POWER Home Remodeling Group was there with demonstration windows. He discussed the features of their windows and scheduled a home visit for an estimate even though we were not planning on purchasing for another year or so. The estimate provided was to be honored even if we waited a year before installation. The next week, the gentleman came to give an incredibly detailed description of the product, take the measurements and give us the quote. A couple of days later, his manager came over to make sure we were pleased with his demonstration and to see if we had any questions. Our question was...how soon can you start? The cost was very reasonable for such a quality window and professional employees. Today we had our windows installed. The team was very courteous and professional just as each employee of POWER has been since day one. They arrived exactly when they said they would and worked together with such precision it was amazing to watch. Mike, the QA manager, came over to observe the process and answer any additional questions we had and was just great. A couple of things stand out and really make POWER stand out far above their competitors: These are a bunch of genuinely nice people. They are professional and courteous at all times. Their workmanship stands out in terms of excellence. The management and each employee of POWER takes ownership and has pride in their jobs. Unlike most companies, you do not pay until they have completed the job and you are 100% satisfied with their work. I would wholeheartedly recommend POWER Home Remodeling Group with glowing reviews. I hope one day they do electrical work...hint, hint....

I am highly disappointed with Power Home Remodeling! The sales rep, Damon, assured me the rotten wood would be removed before the new windows were installed. That was a joke! For starters, the schedule rep, Jessica Madonia, called and emailed a confirmed date and time the installers would be at my home. I waited for an hour and then called the Powers Company. I was assured the installers were on their way. No, not even close. I later get a phone call from one of the mangers, Cade Carlton, informing me of a scheduling error. I'm told that the installers were double booked and that their at another home. I leave the house to complete a few errands. On my way back to my house it starts to sprinkle. I immediately call Cabe and the installer, Jeremy Porter, to voice my concern about installing windows in the rain. I get to the house and the installers are already preparing to work. I tell Jeremy that I don't want moisture getting in or around the new windows. He assures me everything will be fine and that no moisture would get in and that he's been installing windows for 20 or 30 yrs.. That's just the beginning of all the installation problems. Jeremy and his crew try to install one window with rotten wood in the frame until I stopped them. I took pictures and told them the rotten wood needed to be removed. The argued with me and said it wasn't rotten. When you can put your finger through a piece of wood, it's rotten! Plus, I took a picture of it and sent it to Cabe. Jeremy angrily cut a little corner of the rotten wood and attached a crud piece of wood in its place. When my dad pointed out an area where the wood was loose, he angrily hammered several nails into the frame. Alarmed at his behavior, my dad came in the house to notify me of this aggressive behavior. He knew I had reported the rotten wood to Cabe and thought it should be reported too. In addition to all this ongoing issue, another window had been installed before I could check for rotten wood. I voiced that concern with Cabe and was reassured he would make Jeremy take that window out for me to see. Jeremy obviously refused because he started finishing the installation on that window. I even stated to one of the installers that he was supposed to remove that window for me to check. The installer wasn't the one on the phone with Cabe, so he didn't know. The bottom line, Jeremy was in a hurry to get the job done and didn't want to do the job correctly. I regret getting these windows installed on a Saturday! On another note, the new windows look great. I would like for a manager to come out to the house and inspect the poor workmanship on rotten wood repair and to enable me to see the window they installed before I could check for rotten wood. I don't want Jeremy Porter to work on my windows again!

We were provided with tons of information and pricing options. We started with replacing the living room windows since that's an area of the house where we spend the most time. Everybody from Power has been great and professional from the sales consultant to the pre-install inspector to the guys that installed the windows and the quality inspector. We love our new windows and are even adding more and a new front door. They cleaned up pretty good afterward as well and took down some of our pictures hanging that I forgot to so they didn't break in the install process. Can't wait to get our other projects started!

Thank you for taking the time to write and leave a review - we take all customer feedback seriously and use it to improve our processes and level of service. In regards to your experience, before each appointment we call all homeowners to confirm that the appointment time is still a good time for them to meet. We've found that the best way to confirm this is by speaking with the homeowner and not through a voicemail. I reviewed your records and it looks like we called to confirm a couple of times but were unable to reach you. Therefore, we were unable to send our remodeling consultant to your home. Icontracted to have my roof replaced. The job estimate was to take one day. The dumpster for the old roof shingles was to arrive the day of the job and be removed the same day. The job stared on Tuesday morning. The dumpster arrived Monday afternoon, blocking any access to my driveway and garage. The job that was estimated to take one day took a day and a half, they finished on Wednesday at 1:30 in the afternoon. The roof is a very simple layout. A neighbor, using another contractor, with a much larger roof and with multiple levels completed the job in one day. The crew worked all day until dark. It should be noted that the supervisor left the job around 10 am and did not return until 3:30 pm. When the crew left the first night the yard was a mess, empty soda cans, water bottles, shingles left laying where they had been dropped. The yardwas clean at the end of the job. The dumpster that arrived on Monday was still setting in my driveway on Friday. Multiple calls to Power Remodeling was necessary just to get them to recognize that they left dumpster in my driveway. So far I have made 4 separate phone calls to Power and the promised follow up calls to me have never occurred. This was not the quality I expected. .

I have read a lot of reviews where people complain about the length of time the sales pitch takes and they equate that to something underhanded taking place. The reality, at least for us, was that we got some good information, we learned a lot and we eventually were able to come to terms. Initially their price was too high but with a weeks worth of negotiation I was able to have them come down, not as much as I would've liked but enough for me to do the deal. Up to this point they have done everything they said they were going to do and I have no reason to feel that they will not stand by their product or their warranty. I will be finishing my home's remaining windows soon as I can afford it.
Description of Work: Replaced 14 of 27 windows. We could not afford to do all at once. We will be doing the rest next year. I love the windows. The installation crew was very knowledgeable, paid attention to detail, and the install was done right. We love the windows and we already know they will reflect lower cooling costs for us, just based in the last two days of a/c run time.

We received a knock on the door one day, which was a pleasant surprise, since my husband and I were thinking about new windows for our home. The sales person came the next day, while he arrived on time, but he was here forever, like 4.5 hours. We were a little unnerved because essentially we ended up having to take a day off of work, but he was very thorough in his sales pitch. Fast forward to today, we decided to only replace (for now) the worst windows, which were in the garage. The installers were punctual, professional and cleaned up so well we wouldn't have known they were even here! Now we'll be replacing 4 more windows in our master bedroom!

I met this company at the Atlanta Home Show and it has been an excellent experience working with them right from the start. Andy was prompt in arriving for our appointment and stayed for several hours making sure I was fully comfortable with the products and patiently answering all my questions. The pre-inspection performed by Cody was very thorough and he too was very patient in answering additional questions as well as confirming what I wanted. The actual installation was done by Jaimie, Jason and John. All arrived early in the day (about 8:15), introduced themselves, verified measurements one final time and immediately went to work. The entire time they were professional, placed drop cloths not only on the ground but on furniture that could not be moved out of the way, cleaned as they went along in the work and then a final cleaning when done. They then performed a final check of the work to make sure all windows and doors were properly working. During construction, I was contacted by Cody to make sure all work was progressing and that I was happy with the product. Lastly, Bryan (Quality Assurance Manager) came out to perform a quality check of the work (on the same day) and to make sure I was satisfied. Overall, an excellent and satisfying experience.

Power replaced four outdated single pane windows with new double pane windows. The installers arrived on time and were very courteous. They protected the work areas both inside and outside from any dirt and damage while doing the removal of the old windows and installation of the new windows. When the work was done they cleaned the areas of any dirt that was created. They then double checked that all of the windows were installed properly and worked perfectly. They demonstrated how to operate the windows and to easily clean them. Throughout the job the installers were very professional and friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs new windows. I have had the windows for a few months now and am very happy with them. The rooms that had them installed are much more comfortable and quieter.

It took longer than anticipated to replace the windows. However, this was partially due to wood rot damage from the original window installation that had to be repaired prior to the new windows being installed. The installers were punctual, considerate, cooperative, did a professional job and cleaned up during and after the installation. I have had many other contractors do many different jobs at my home. This group was by far the most professional. They treated my home like it was their home. Can't ask for better than that.

I'm surprised that none of the positive reviews have mentioned the sales tactics used by Power Home Remodeling. I started the meeting by emphasizing how we really didn't want the meeting to last all night. Despite the fact that we made it clear we wanted to wrap things up at various junctures throughout the night, the salesman went on and on with standard pitch material that he must have been obligated to go through based on his training. In total, it was a four hour meeting, whereas it could have easily been completed in under two hours. In hindsight, I wish I would have been more assertive and just told him to leave. The salesman also used scare tactics such as exaggerating mold hazard and remediation costs. From what I've heard, I think the installation process is well run, and the product is good. I can say that the quotes were outrageously expensive in comparison to others.

sales rep (Dexter Bobo) was very professional and friendly. Windows were measured by Dexter, Measurements were taken by Pete (also very professional) and were confirmed by installers before windows were unloaded. Installation was very professional, all debris was removed. Windows are beautiful and take years off the look of the house

They did do a good job, they were professional, and when I got here everything was taken care of. They do high pressure sales. They're a little pricey, but they use good product. They have a lifetime warranty on their product. They got it done when they said they would.

They do a little bit of everything, they do excellent work! I will definitely use them again. They came out at about 8 or 9 o'clock in the morning and were finished at about 5 or 6. They came with a crew of people.

Installation was done in a very professional manner. It didn't take them long to replace the 3 windows. They did an excellent cleanup job.
