There is definitely a learning curve involved for them in understanding my expectations (I have asthma) and communication on my part. Isabel is uncomfortable speaking English (tho she seems to understand quite a lot) but her assistant is fluent It would help if my Spanish skills were better.They have been very accommodating to my needs and have been very pleasant. They have been a second time, and the experience was better. They were prepared to clean my fans (cathedral ceilings!) and very high room corners. Plan to have them back again.

Was very pleased with the cleanliness of the 2 bathrooms and the work in the kitchen. Had to ask them to dust the fans (they didn't have the right tools to deal with the cathedral ceilings). They moved and dusted everything on the dressers, end tables, and coffee table. Were responsive to specific requests re floor treatment.

Very punctual and pleasant. Kitchen and bathrooms were gleaming. However, in the living room and office, vacuuming/sweeping was only partially completed. Dusting was only OK.

They were very polite and I wasn't uncomfortable while they were here at all (which is new for me. I'm always worried I'll be in the way).

Isabel and Liz did a wonderful job. Isabel responded timely to my request for a quote, and she scheduled the cleaning promptly. She also asked me to text her the address so that there would be no confusion as to which home needed cleaning. I quoted the Angie's List price as listed on the website to Isabel, and she agreed with the cost. I didn't have to purchase anything through Angie's List. I just wrote them a check made payable to Akins Cleaning Service once they finished. Isabel informed me over the phone they accept cash or check, no credit cards. They also bring all of their own cleaning supplies, unless you have something specific you want them to use. They arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They walked through the home with me while I pointed out specific areas I wanted addressed, and they began working immediately. Isabel is fluent in English and Spanish while Liz is fluent in Spanish. I spoke to Isabel mainly and she translated for Liz. I left them in the home for three hours while I went to work, and Isabel gave me an estimate of when they should finish. When I walked in the home afterward, it smelled fresh and clean (kind of like lemons/essential oils). They walked with me through the rooms while I inspected the work, and I didn't find any issues or things they didn't do. They did a very thorough job, and I am a very picky person. I would hire them again if I needed help with a deep clean. They asked me if I needed to schedule future service, and I said not right now. I appreciate them checking with me because if I do have a future need, I will call/text Isabel. While our house was basically empty, I did have some items in the garage and attic that I wanted to make sure weren't taken. Everything was where it should be. I would trust Isabel and Liz in my home if I had personal belongings in it. They seem eager to please and trustworthy. Muchas gracias, Isabel y Liz!

Excellent job. They cleaned every single dirty spot on the stove and counters. They vaccumed the rug, cleaned the bathrooms, and bedrooms. They left my whole apartment spotless.

The Akin's team was on time and ready with supplies to tackle my home. They accomplished in a short time what would have taken me all-day to complete. My bathrooms were spotless (big deal to me) and my floors were free of pet hair. I felt comfortable leaving them to their task and was not disappointed. The team at Akin's Cleaning is very thorough and trustworthy. They were even good with my dogs. ; ) (Plus). I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for professional house cleaning.
